March 17 Day Shift
6725 Ringgold Road (found property):
Randall P. found $823 cash wrapped in a rubber band lying in the parking lot in the area of the Family Dollar. Randall called police and turned over the money. (21-003601)
604 Bacon Trail (aggravated domestic assault):
A woman called police after her boyfriend, DeMarcus Dillard, pointed a handgun at her and a friend and threatened to shoot both women. Dillard, who was under the influence of methamphetamine, was located in a back room. The handgun was located under a mattress. Dillard was arrested on several charges of aggravated assault and false imprisonment along with active county warrants. Methamphetamine was found on Dillard at the county jail. (21-003567)
705 S. Moore Road (suspicious activity):
The caller reported receiving a door hanger on her door advising there was a package for her and to call a number to schedule delivery for it. According to the caller, she claimed she saw a news report on tv advising these were scams and to report it to the police. Upon checking the area police located a a man walking door-to-door. The man claimed he was with the Water Awareness Program, which is based out of 4143 Ringgold Rd, and he was attempting to set up appointments with residents to have their water checked. He stated if the residents agreed to a check of their water, they would then receive a $50 gift card. The man was not wearing a solicitor’s permit at the point of contact and was advised to contact city hall for requirements regarding door-to-door solicitation. (21-003586)

Night Shift
3029 Ringgold Road (Check Hazard) 21-003604-
Police were dispatched to the tunnels in regard to a mudslide and a tree blocking the road. Police shut down the roadway leading to the tunnels until TDOT could respond. TDOT shut the tunnels down until the morning for reassessment.
6300 Ringgold Road Krystal – domestic disorder 21-003607 –
A woman ran inside Krystal to get away from her boyfriend, an intoxicated Timothy Chambers, whom management had locked out of the store. Chambers was subsequently arrested for Reckless Endangerment, Domestic Assault, and Public Intoxication.
21-003608 1417 St. Thomas Street:
At the request of Motel 6 Management, Tyrone Handberry is not to be on the premises in the future. Handberry was made aware of management’s decision.
6674 Ringgold Rd/Missing Adult (21-003613):
Reporting party in Minnesota called in stating her father is missing. She made a report in Minnesota. However, his credit card was used at multiple locations in Chattanooga. She believed one place was Hotel Chattanooga. No records of him staying at this location were found.
5301 Ringgold Rd/ Warrant service:
James Foster was arrested for Hamilton County warrants.
