The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”
February 25 – Day Shift
21-002532- 5301 Ringgold Road (Walgreens)- Assault/Evading-
Police were dispatched to the Walgreens on a domestic assault. Upon arrival police made initial contact with the suspect outside the business. The suspect then fled on foot heading south from Walgreens crossing Ringgold Road. A foot pursuit ensued where police did apprehend the suspect in the parking lot of the Sonic. The victim provided her statement at the Walgreens. She said her boyfriend, Robert Padgett, had hit her this morning several times in the face at the Speedway. The victim had dried blood on the left side of her lip conducive with her statement. Padgett was taken into custody for simple domestic assault and evading arrest.
21-002539- 1460 Mack Smith Road (Cracker Barrel)- Panhandler-
The caller advised of an older white homeless male bothering the customers. On arrival the male had already left the area.
No number assigned- 3224 Navajo Drive (Unitarian Church)- Brush Fire-
Police responded with Fire regarding a vehicle fire on the lot. On arrival it was discovered there was no vehicle fire only a brush fire. A responsible party for the church was able to provide a valid burn permit.
21-002546- 4150 Ringgold Road (Walmart)- Disorder-
The caller advised a female Door-Dash driver was causing a disorder with staff. On arrival the female had already left the business.
21-002550- 6721 Ringgold Road- Suspicious Activity-
The caller advised someone had entered the fence and appeared to be squatting in the vacant building. On arrival the building was checked. No one was inside but several bags of clothing and other personal items were located. The property owners requested an extra watch on the building and surrounding property.

February 25 –Night Shift
5300 Ringgold Road (Traffic Stop/Arrest 21-002572):
Police affected a traffic stop on a Ford Escape due to the driver traveling at night with no headlights. Police requested to see the driver’s license, which Darryl Sailes stated that he left it at home. Police ran his name, DOB, and SSN through the database. His return showed that his license was revoked for DUI. Police took Mr. Sailes into custody and transported him to Hamilton County Jail.
2100 Duggan St/DUI/Evading/Agg Dom Assault/Agg Child Endangerment (21-002571):
Navesia Springs was arrested for multiple charges after pushing her 14-year-old daughter out of a moving vehicle. Ms. Springs drove past police at a high rate of speed and failed to stop for police. Ms. Springs stopped her vehicle in the 2100 block of Duggan Street and was arrested. Her five-year-old daughter was in the back seat while she was intoxicated and evading police.
1000 Mcbrien Road/evading (21-002576):
Police attempted to stop a yellow motorcycle for improper display. The motorcycle fled at a high-rate of speed north on McBrien Road.

February 26 – Day Shift
3611 Gleason Drive (auto theft):
The complainant stated she left her unlocked 2016 Jeep Cherokee running so it could warm up. Upon returning to the driveway she noticed her vehicle had been stolen. The vehicle was entered into NCIC. (21-002583)
1318 West End Avenue (disorder):
The reporting party advised they have been allowing a homeless man named Dylan to sleep on their porch at night. Recently he was asked to move along because he was disturbing the reporting party’s terminally ill mother. Dylan became verbally abusive at this time. The residents were instructed to call police if Dylan returned. (21-002596)
201 Eads Street (public intoxication):
The complainant asked an intoxicated Abigail Jones to leave her apartment and refused to allow Jones to use her restroom. Abigail Jones then exited the apartment and dropped her pants and urinated on the complainant’s welcome mat. Police located the drunk Jones and took her to jail. (21-002587)
941 Spring Creek Road (assault):
Eric Williams was in the emergency room when he became combative and punched a security officer and nurse several times. Both sustained bloodied noses. Williams was arrested and taken to jail. (21-002594)

February 26 – Night Shift
1227 John Ross RD (Assist Fire 21-002626):
Police responded with the fire department on a vehicle fire.
1410 Mack Smith Rd (Disorder 21-002627):
Kelly Bradshaw returned to the Budgetel, became disorderly with staff and threatened to burglarize a room. Bradshaw refused multiple orders to leave the property. She was taken into custody for trespassing.
5322 Clemmons Rd (Assist Fire 21-002628):
The fire department requested police assistance in making a forced entry into an apartment.
5301 Marion Ave (Arrest 21-002630):
Michael Shahan was taken into custody for violating the move over law and evading. Officers initially attempted to stop Shahan in the 5400 block of Ringgold Rd. He finally stopped at 5301 Marion Ave.
3200 Gleason Dr (Misdemeanor Citation 21-002639):
Tyler Moss was issued a misdemeanor citation for drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop.
