The following information was compiled from “pass along reports” provided by the administration of the East Ridge Police Department.
February 20 – Day Shift
21-002309- Ringgold Road @ Scruggs Road- Hit and Run-
The occupants of a white van reported a white BMW hit their vehicle and fled the scene. A witness recorded the Tennessee tag on the fleeing vehicle and police found it was registered to a man on Blue Jay Road. Police went to the residence and located the owner who stated he had sold the vehicle to his wife’s brother, Koby Proctor, around October of 2020. Contact was made with Proctor who agreed to meet with police. Proctor was issued traffic citations for following too close, leaving the scene, and financial responsibility.
21-002312- 5809 Ringgold Road (J and J Quality Auto Service)- Alarm-
Police responded to check the business. On arrival police could not access the property due to a locked gate. Everything appeared to be secure. A responsible party could not be reached.
No number assigned- 201 Eads Street (Dogwood Place)- Noise Complaint/Narcotics Activity-
The caller advised the occupants of a second-floor apartment are noisy and smoking marijuana in the breezeway. On arrival in the area no narcotics violations were observed. The caller was advised to speak with management regarding the noise.
21-002314- Ringgold Road @ South Moore Road- Disorder-
The caller advised of a disorder where a red vehicle was following a female and child. On arrival in the area no one matching the description given was located.
3900 blk of Ringgold Road- AOA Warrant Service-
Daishuan Collins was detained and transported to 601 on county warrants following a traffic stop. Broome’s towed the vehicle.

February 20 – Night Shift
5340 Ringgold Rd. / FI (21-002341):
Police encountered Misty Barnes and David F. suspicious in the area. Barnes was found to have active warrants and was taken into custody. David was released after a warrant did not verify out of Catoosa County. Field Interview completed.
6935 Tiffany Lane/Warrant Service (21-002327):
Benjamin Jacobo was arrested for simple possession, and Luis Madrigal was arrested for felony warrants out of Georgia.
21-001208 1105 Greenslake Road / Arrest:
Police responded to an intoxicated Person call at this location and located Michael Williams. Williams was taken into custody for outstanding East Ridge Warrants and transported to the Hamilton County Jail with no issue.

21-002345- 3725 Fountain Avenue (The Belvoir)- Unknown 911-
Dispatch advised of a phase two 911 call coming from the apartments. Officers checked the area with nothing located.
21-002346- 1500 blk of Merrill Street- Unknown 911-
Dispatch advised of a phase two 911 call in the 1500 block. Officers checked the area with nothing located.
No number assigned- 4000 blk of Ringgold Road- AOA Warrant Service/Traffic Stop-
Dewayne Johnson was detained on county warrants following a traffic stop. He was transported to 601 without incident.
20-014380- Warrant Service-
Khera Cozzart was served an East Ridge warrant at 601.
No number assigned- 4400 blk of South Terrace- AOA-
CPD requested assistance locating a possible crime scene in the area due to shooting victims arriving at multiple hospitals. While checking the area CPD advised the scene was located at the Eastdale Recreational Center on McCallie Avenue.
21-002353- 5512 Ringgold Road (Old J103)- Hazard-
The caller advised of a dump truck parked on the lot leaking fuel. Police responded with Fire and on arrival the liquid was found to be water not fuel.
21-002356- 490 Camp Jordan Parkway (Top Golf)- Vehicle Burglary-
The complainant called it to report her vehicle had been entered while she was inside the business. There are currently no suspects.
21-002360- 490 Camp Jordan Parkway (Top Golf)- Vehicle Burglary-
While on scene with the first burglary police found a second. The vehicle was entered while the owner was inside the business.
21-002362- 1000 Bass Pro Drive (Bass Pro)- Vehicle Burglary-
The caller’s vehicle was entered while he was inside the business. There are no suspects.

February 21 – Night Shift
21-002369 – 201 Eads St – Domestic Assault –
Police responded to a call for a mental health crisis at this location. On arrival police made contact with a man who did not appear to be experiencing mental health symptoms during the interaction. During the call his mother told police that he pushed her to the ground and that she feared for her life. The man was subsequently arrested for domestic assault.
21-002375 – 6513 Ringgold Road – Domestic Assault –
Police responded to a call of suspicious activity at the Waffle House. On arrival police located a female bleeding from the face. A witness stated to police that the woman had been assaulted by a male and that the male had left the scene. The injured woman stated that the male was her boyfriend but she declined to prosecute or otherwise cooperate with police. Police were able to locate her boyfriend’s vehicle, which had blood on the passenger side door, but were unable to locate the boyfriend.
939 Geswein Ct/Theft (21-002361):
The complainant notified police of a theft of her smoker grill. A suspect will be in a blue Ford Focus and is an older white male.
4222 Ringgold Road/Criminal Impersonation (21-002374):
Andrew Morgan was arrested for criminal impersonation and several Hamilton County warrants at this location during a traffic stop.
1509 Mack Smith Road (21-002373 Suspicious Activity):
Police responded to a report of a small fire in the backyard of this address. The fire was extinguished prior to police arrival but the house at this location was empty. Police discovered Miguel C. and Bridget P. “squatting” in the residence. The owner requested that they be trespassed from the property. Both parties departed and were instructed that if they return, they would be arrested.
201 Eads Street (21-002383 Fight):
A neighbor reported that they heard a fight going on a nearby apartment. Upon arrival, police discovered that there was no fight but a young juvenile playing and jumping around on the floor. Police checked on the people inside the apartment and no one appeared injured.
21-002378 3100 Ringgold road / Check Hazard:
Police responded to the west bound East Ridge tunnel and located a Semi stuck in the tunnel. The vehicle was removed from the tunnel and the driver was issued a traffic citation.
