Feb. 16 Day Shift
21-002107- 5700 Roper Street (New Castle Square)- CPR in Progress-
Police responded with Fire and EMS to a possible CPR in progress. On arrival the patient was alert and talking. She was transported to Memorial Hospital.
21-002106- 4214 Ringgold Road- Delayed Kidnaping-
The reporting party came to the police department and advised she was kidnapped sometime last week. Upon further investigation it was found the incident occurred in Chattanooga. CPD responded and took over the call.
21-002110- 3400 Lisa Drive- Possible Burglary Attempt-
Complainant called to report she found the rear doorknob to her apartment loose and felt someone had attempted to break in. Upon investigation police found the knob to not be installed correctly. She was advised to contact management.
21-002111- 6200 blk of Ringgold Road- Rolling Disorder-
The caller advised of a white male and female in a white Ford Explorer in a disorder. The caller advised the vehicle pulled into the lot at the Budgetel. On arrival police checked the area but did not locate the couple.
21-002115- 1300 blk of Pleasant Street- Suspicious Vehicle-
The caller advised of a black vehicle sitting in the roadway. Once on scene police approached the vehicle and the driver rolled down the window. Once the window was rolled down officers detected a smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The driver provided police with his ID but did not have a valid license or insurance. The driver was identified as Carson Levett Jr. Police asked all three passengers to exit the vehicle while a search was conducted. Levett admitted the marijuana was in the ash tray where police found two partially smoked blunts. A Taurus 9mm handgun was also located in the vehicle. Levett was issued a misdemeanor citation. Due to Levett not having a driver’s license or insurance police called next district tow (Broome’s) to tow the car.

Night Shift
21-002136 1100 Stateline Road (shots fired):
Police were dispatched to this area regarding residents hearing what they believed to be five to six shots being fired. Police searched the area nothing was located.
100 block Douglas Drive (21-002183 Suicidal Person):
The complainant contacted police concerned about her son. She stated that he took a bottle of Xanax pills attempting suicide. She also warned that he stated that he wanted “Suicide by Cop” and was armed with a shotgun. Upon arrival, police found the man unconscious in his bedroom and the shotgun stored in his closet. Police woke the man, who confirmed that he was suicidal. Police transported him to Parkridge East for a medical and mental evaluation.
