‘Person Shot’ Call Leads to Drug Arrest
On Monday night, police responded to reports of a person shot in the roadway in front of 879 Donaldson. While en route officers were told the potential victim left the area in a gray vehicle.
Police arrived on scene and made contact with Colby Proctor who stated he had discharged a firearm in self-defense after being in a disorder with another male. The residence at 883-A Donaldson Rd. emitted a strong odor of marijuana. Proctor and two juvenile occupants of the residence were extremely impaired.
A search warrant was obtained and executed on the residence. The firearm, over four ounces of marijuana, several hundred suspected “pressed” pills, and drug paraphernalia were located and seized.
Proctor was taken into custody and charged with Possession of Schedule VI, Possession of Schedule I, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Reckless Endangerment and Use of a Firearm during a Felony.

Feb. 8 Day Shift
10 Lynn Crest Drive (alarm):
The residential alarm at this location has gone off a few times and is possibly malfunctioning. The resident was advised to have her alarm company check it. (21-001735)
4214 Ringgold Road (warrant service):
Gumercido Ramirez was arrested on an active East Ridge warrant and was transported to the Hamilton County Jail. (20-003279)
941 Spring Creek Road (aggravated assault):
Lee Brown came to the Parkridge East ER with a gunshot wound to his leg after having been shot in Chattanooga. Multiple CPD officers responded to the scene due to the investigation into the shooting and Brown’s warrants for murder and assault. (21-001760)

Night Shift
201 Eads St (Child Found 21-001770):
Caller reported a young child had gotten off the school bus but the child’s mother wasn’t home and the door to their apartment was locked. Officers arrived and were able to contact the mother.
4222 Ringgold Rd (Deceptive Practice 21-001771):
The reporting party stated he allowed a person to use his phone momentarily and they allegedly transferred money from his bank account via his bank app. Warrants to be sought for the arrest of Emma Cheaves.
3657 Ringgold Rd (Unknown Trouble 21-001788):
A caller reported hearing someone screaming in room 37 of the Cascades Motel. Officers arrived and made contact with Blare Bledsoe who had visible signs on her face she was the victim of an assault. Bledsoe was also found to have active warrants through Hamilton County. Mark Harden had been in the room with Bledsoe prior to police arriving and had struck her in the face several times. Warrants for domestic assault will be sought for Harden. Bledsoe was transported to the Hamilton County Jail on her warrants.
