Dec. 15 Day Shift
604 Bacon Trail / Disorder w/ Weapon:
A woman called in and told Dispatch a man known to her was outside her apartment with a gun. Suspect left before police arrived in a large white GMC pickup. The complainant was very uncooperative with police, not wanting to give additional information. She didn’t know why police showed up even after she canceled them.
1410 Mack Smith Road (disorder):
Herlon Roberts was trespassed from the Budgetel after causing a disorder with motel staff.
604 Bacon Trail recovered auto:
2016 Honda Accord was located and towed from this location. The owner was contacted and notified.

Night Shift
5504 Clemmons Rd (Suspicious Activity 20-016463):
The caller stated a male and female were in an abandoned house at this location. Police made contact with a man and a woman. The two stated they had permission from the owner to be looking for scrap pieces on the property. They were advised to come back during daylight hours when the owner was present.
1700 Mack Smith Rd (Wires Down 20-016465):
Police responded to wires down at the intersection of Mack Smith Rd and Brack St at approximately 8:00 PM. Witnesses stated a dump truck was traveling south on Mack Smith Rd with the dump bed elevated. The bed struck a number of wires causing a utility pole to break. Police provided traffic control for several hours awaiting AT&T. The decision was made to close the roadway with barricades because AT&T stated they would not respond until approximately 01:00 AM on 12/16/20. As of 06:00 on 12/16/20 AT&T still had not responded and attempts to reach them for an estimated response time were futile.
601 Walnut St (Warrant Arrest 20-016471):
Earl Weaver was booked on an East Ridge warrant at the Hamilton County Jail.
3818 Kingwood Cir (Assist EMS 20-016472):
EMS requested police assistance in dealing with a narcotics induced mental health consumer. The party is very well known to law enforcement and difficult to assist. She was eventually transported to a local hospital by EMS.
4214 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 20-016475):
Zachary Parton was taken into custody for Possession of Methamphetamine, Simple Possession and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia following a road rage incident that began in Chattanooga. Parton followed his ex-girlfriend and her current boyfriend for several miles as they made their way to the East Ridge Police Department.
