The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports” provided by the administration.
Nov. 2 Day Shift
6514 Ringgold Road (Criminal Trespass):
Max Alberto Garcia (H/M) was trespassed from the Mapco property after being observed unplugging the ice machine to charge his phone and refusing to leave after store employees asked him to leave the property.
490 McBrien Road Unit 120 (Criminal Trespass):
Christopher D. Nunnally (B/M) was issued a criminal trespass warning from the property of TNT Fireworks after displaying suspicious behavior and accessing prohibited parts of the store while carrying a wrench.
1100 McBrien Road (Check the Well-being):
A passerby requested police check on a male party walking north on McBrien Road, after he appeared to be struggling while carrying a heavy load. Police contacted Michael F. (w/m), who was attempting to carry multiple bulky, dairy items in a blanket back to his camp near the Goodwill store.
4152 Ringgold Road (Suspicious Person):
Bojangle’s employees called about a homeless man panhandling the restaurant’s drive-thru lane. Contact was made with Michael W. who was checked for warrants and released after being instructed to halt his activities.
3605 Ida Bell Lane (Theft):
The resident stated the 2021 renewal sticker was stolen from his license plate. A report was filed.
3405 Maple Creek Lane (Extra Watch):
An area resident called requesting extra patrol in the area, because several suspicious vehicles have been observed visiting the duplex during the day and night.
3412 Bennett Road (AOA):
Police assisted Code Enforcement at this location. Code Enforcement requested extra patrol at night, because no one is allowed to be on the property at night due to code violations.

Night Shift
3614 Altamira Dr (Burglary 20-014532):
Homeowner returned home from work to find the residence had been burglarized. No items of value were taken.
3218 Gleason Dr (Disorder 20-014539):
Police responded to a disorder between boyfriend and girlfriend over payment of bills. Police arrested Lukis Hammer after he was found to have placed his hand over his girlfriend’s mouth restricting her airway.
6674 Ringgold Rd (Suspicious Activity 20-014541 & 20-014542):
Officers observed a white Nissan Maxima pull into the lot of The OYO driven by Steven Nave and occupied by several parties. One party in the vehicle is very well known to law enforcement. Officers attempted to observe the vehicle after noting the tag on the vehicle was stolen. Prior to other police arriving in the area the vehicle eluded police. Steven Nave will have warrants issued for possession of stolen property and driving while suspended.
A subsequent investigation of other parties in the parking lot and room 371 lead to the arrest of Tina Quarles for possession of methamphetamine.
500 McBrien Rd (Suspicious Vehicle):
Caller stated a dark sedan had driven by their house several times and was now sitting in the church parking lot. Vehicle was gone when police arrived.
3206 Navajo Dr (Suspicious Activity 20-014553):
Caller stated a silver sedan that appeared occupied was parked in the driveway of this residence. Vehicle left prior to police arrival.
1417 St Thomas St (Assault 20-014557):
Caller stated a male subject was assaulting a female in the parking lot of Motel 6. Officers responded and determined there was no assault. Police did discover narcotics violation though. Quadarius Smith and Makayla Frizell were issued misdemeanor citations for possession of drug paraphernalia and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The minor, 17-year-old female, was released to her mother. Charges will be pending on the minor through juvenile court.
6404 Ringgold Rd (Alarm 20-014558):
Police responded to a burglar alarm at the Burger King and located Christine P. sleeping in a tent in the parking lot. The woman stated she had permission from the manager to stay near the building for the evening. Morning shift employees arrived and requested officers return and have Christine remove her tent and leave the property.
500 S Moore (Warrant Arrest):
Deontae Austin was taken into custody during a traffic stop on several East Ridge warrants and transported to the Hamilton County Jail. Austin also had verified warrants through Hamilton County. Ariel Mansel was charged with simple possession of marijuana.
3623 Fountain Ave (Mental Health 20-014562):
Police responded after a female called stating her son-in-law was experiencing hallucinations and believed he was possessed. Officers arrived and made contact with a naked male in his mid 20’s. The party was clearly in mental health crisis. Police were able to persuade the party he should be transported to Parkridge East for medical attention. Once at the hospital the subject became highly agitated with staff and was extremely disorderly. Prior to police leaving the hospital the party exited the exam room, challenged officers, stripped off his gown and ran from staff and police. The subject was tased and placed back in the treatment room. The subject was held on a certificate of need.
6674 Ringgold Rd (Miscellaneous 20-014566):
Gregory Caputo was detained on Hamilton County warrants. Prior to transport Caputo had an apparent medical issue requiring EMS to be summoned. Caputo was taken to an area hospital. The sheriff’s office was notified of his location.
