The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports” provided by the administration.
Oct. 28 Day Shift
3700 South Terrace (Well Being Check):
Monica G. was found sleeping on the sidewalk. Monica stated that she had spent the previous evening at a shelter and did not want to go back. The woman then stated that she wanted to move west and get out of Chattanooga. She was directed to the nearest bus stop on Brainerd Road.
5600 Brainerd Road (Warrant Service):
Toni Beard was arrested on two active capias warrants through the City of East Ridge. The original charges were driving on a suspended license. Beard was transported to the Hamilton County Jail where she was found to have an additional arrest warrant through Hamilton County.
1509 Fruitland Drive (Vandalism):
The resident reported that her Honda Odyssey was vandalized. Police responded to the scene and found two windows broken on the right side of the vehicle. No witnesses were located for the incident.
809 Poindexter Avenue (Burglary):
The complainant called police after a suspect forced entry into the basement of his property and stole a variety of tools and damaged ductwork in the process. The suspect fled on foot and left a Ford F-150 which came back stolen. The owner was contacted, and the truck was towed by East Ridge Auto.
728 Frawley Road (Drug Investigation):
Residents of an apartment called police to complain after State and Federal agents conducted an interview with other residents of interest in the apartment. All occupants of the apartment are scheduled for eviction in fourteen days.
6900 Village Lake Circle (Hypervigilance):
A Concerned citizen contacted police out of worry from seeing a black figure hanging by a rope from a tree in front of a yard. Police located a green witch figurine dressed in a black cape hanging from a limb along with a skeleton dressed in a similar manner.

809 Poindexter (Assist Other Agency):
Animal services requested police to check the wellbeing of a dog.
1410 Mack Smith (Arrest 20-014335):
ERPD was contacted by Collegedale PD and asked to check the Budgetel for Daniel Benoit. Benoit had active Hamilton County warrants and was wanted by Collegedale for theft of a large sum of cash. Benoit was located and taken into custody for possession of stolen property. He had approximately $4,300 US Currency in his vehicle.
1410 Mack Smith (Disorder 20-014338):
Police responded to a disorder between a male and a female. RP stated the parties were arguing and throwing things. The disorder was found to be verbal only. Both Bridgit Hightower and Joe Akridge were found to have multiple arrest warrants through Hamilton County. They were detained and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
3657 Ringgold Rd (Disorder 20-014344):
Police were waved down by two females who claimed a male party at the Cascades had stolen one of their debit cards. The incident originated in Chattanooga. The females had not yet filed a report with CPD. The male subject was very cooperative and stated he did not have the card.
701 Dunlap Ave (Evading 20-014346):
Police attempted to stop a gray Chevrolet Impala at the intersection of S Germantown and Gleason. The vehicle initially stopped then drove away from police. Officers observed the vehicle turn west on Gleason. The vehicle appeared to be experiencing mechanical difficulties. The vehicle’s speed stayed below 25 mph until reaching Donaldson Rd. The vehicle gained acceleration at that point. Officers deactivated all emergency equipment and allowed the vehicle to safely flee per policy. A short time later officers located the vehicle unoccupied in a yard at 701 Dunlap. No suspect information at this time.
3500 Ringgold Rd (Misdemeanor Citation):
Janon Parden was issued a misdemeanor citation for driving while revoked.
