The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports” provided by the administration.
Oct. 27 Day Shift
800 S Seminole Dr (burglary):
The resident called police to advise her home had been burglarized while she was away between 10/26/2020 and 10/27/2020. Items taken were cash, and two guitars. No forced entry, the carport door may have been left unsecured.
116 Windmere Dr-
The resident advised her Toyota 4-runner was entered sometime during the night.
1417 N Mack Smith Rd-
On arrival police made contact with the victim of a theft in the front lobby. The woman stated that someone had entered her room between the hours of 0930-1100 hours on today’s date and stole her debit card. The woman stated she left her room around 0930 to schedule a ride in the lobby. Upon returning to her room to retrieve her debit card she discovered the card was gone. The woman stated that she placed her debit card behind the microwave under a coupon with a bottle of hand sanitizer on the coupon. She stated that she and another resident checked her entire room, however was unable to find her debit card. The woman called her bank and had the card deactivated, before any fraudulent charges were made. The woman suspects that the maintenance man took her debit card, however, she stated this is merely conjecture. The woman stated that she only wanted a report on file.
3307 Ringgold Rd (auto theft):
The owner of Mike’s Motors called police to report a 2007 Chrysler 300 was taken by an employee along with the dealer tag last Thursday. The owner said he allowed the employee to utilize the vehicle. The employee told the owner he would be back in 15 minutes and never returned. Vehicle entered into NCIC on 10/27/2020.
1517 Tombras Ave-
Savannah Wilson was taken into custody on Hamilton County warrants at court and was transported to 601 Walnut St
1400 N Smith St (Drug Offense):
Pamela (Smith) Sizemore was arrested for Driving on a Revoked License following a traffic stop. Sizemore was also charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of heroin, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
1000 Bass Pro Drive (Theft):
The Bass Pro Shop management reported the theft of over $6,000 worth of sunglasses. The store’s asset protection reviewed security video and observed two black females who placed up to 34 pairs of sunglasses in their bags without paying for them. A black male appeared to be distracting the store associates during the shoplifting incident. The Bass Pro Shop staff will provide pictures and videos of the incident for the potential identification of the suspects. Manager of the store requests extra patrol
1000 Bass Pro Drive (Suspicious Activity):
On October 26th, Dewayne Voltaire was arrested on outstanding warrants after he was flagged by the TBI during a firearms purchase at the Bass Pro Shop. Voltaire returned to the store on October 27th after posting bail and attempted to obtain the firearm again. The Bass Pro Shop staff rejected the request and contacted the police. Voltaire’s mother then attempted to purchase the firearm and was rejected by the Bass Pro Shop staff. After Voltaire left the area, three additional individuals came into the store requesting to purchase the same firearm, a Ruger 5.7 mm handgun.

Night Shift
3900 Ringgold Rd / Arrest:
Police conducted a traffic stop at this location for an improper turn which resulted in potential danger to other vehicles on the roadway. After approaching the vehicle it was discovered the driver, Ashley Owens, had her 1-year-old child in her lap between her and the airbag. Police issued Owens traffic citations for her traffic violations and took her into custody for child endangerment.
3500 Ringgold Rd / Pursuit:
Police observed a newer white Chevy Malibu bearing a registration from an unknown state CC42367 traveling more than 30 MPH over the posted speed limit and leaving his lane of travel in a manner which was causing him to be a danger to society. Police engaged in a pursuit from the 3800 block of Ringgold Road to the 6500 block of Ringgold Road where the suspect took Interstate 75 South. It was at this point police deactivated emergency equipment and discontinued the pursuit at the supervisor’s request.
5418 Ringgold Rd / Traffic Stop:
Joseph Miles was arrested for DUI, open container, speeding, and financial responsibility following a traffic stop.
1000 Bass Pro Drive / Assist Citizens:
Police responded to this address to ensure employees of Bass Pro were secure after work, while walking to their vehicles. Several threats were made to staff members due to the store refusing to sell a firearm (a Ruger 5.7mm Handgun) to a customer who may have felony charges pending.
6300 Ringgold Road / Disorder:
A motorist reported that a female in a silver Mercedes with GA RTT2279 pulled into the parking lot of Taco Bell and showed a taser. The motorist stated that this was a result of road rage because the driver believes she was cut off by him. The Mercedes was gone when police arrived.
6700 Ringgold Road / Warrant Service:
Lashonda Bowens was arrested for a Hamilton County Warrant during a traffic stop at this location.
4150 Ringgold Road / Theft:
At about 1600 hours on October 27, an unknown person stole a purse belonging to a woman shopping at Walmart Neighborhood Market.
