Oct. 6 Day Shift
601 Walnut St – Warrant Service –
Elijah C. Hodge was taken into custody by CPD on an active East Ridge warrant for Capias failure to appear.
3900 Ringgold Rd. – Evading –
Police attempted to stop a white Infinity QX4, GA registration RQT 2228, for speeding in a school zone. The vehicle failed to stop and began driving reckless. Police deactivated lights and siren and allowed the vehicle to safely leave the area.
1517 Tombras Ave – Court – Warrant Service –
Ronaldo D. Miranda was taken into custody on an East Ridge warrant and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
4214 Ringgold Rd. – (700 Pyron Ln) – Harassment –
A city council member came to the police department to report being harassed by a male on a bicycle while walking through the neighborhood. Report on file.
Camp Jordan Pkwy @ Ringgold Rd – Road Rage –
The complainant reported a w/m in a black tank-top and khaki pants became upset with her after she honked her horn at him while he was sitting at a green light. The complainant stated the subject exited his vehicle waving his hands and yelling obscenities. The complainant stated the subject then struck her right front tire with his hands before returning to his vehicle and leaving the area. The subject was last seen driving a greenish SUV with Georgia tags.
3839 Ringgold Rd – Kingwood Auto Sales –
A black 2014 Chevy Malibu that was reported stolen from Kingwood Auto Sales was recovered by Cedar Bluff Police Department in Alabama

6514 Ringgold Road- 20-0133540- Public intoxication-
Bryan Maroon was taken into custody at Mapco for public intoxication.
601 Walnut- Warrant Service- 20-011239/20-07591-
Albert Dawson was arrested on East Ridge City Court warrants for shoplifting.
3616 Ringgold Road- Alarm Call/ Open door- 20-013362-
Upon responding to an alarm call, officers found a bay door open. The building was checked and the owner was called. Upon his arrival, the building was check and nothing was found missing.
6700 Ringgold Road- Criminal impersonation/ Poss of paraphernalia- 20-013353-
Dwaine Davis was arrested for being in possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal impersonation when he was found to be in possession of a marijuana grinder and gave false information to officers. He gave officers information of his deceased brother. Olivia Israel was also arrested for simple possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, and public intoxication.
113 Ridgeside Road – suspicious vehicle –
Resident reported seeing a suspicious red Ford Explorer or Expedition traveling in the area. The vehicle was occupied by juveniles who were stealing pumpkins from people’s yards than throwing them. Police checked Ridgeside and eventually made contact with a red Expedition in the east end of South Lynncrest, however the vehicle was only occupied by one middle-aged female party. There were no pumpkins in sight.
3400 Bennett Road- Suspicious vehicle-
RP reported a black trucking driving down the road with no lights on. Officers checked the area and did not find anything.
1462 Mack Smith Road- Disorder-
Police called to this location for a disorder call. Upon arrival, officers determine this incident occurred due to relationship issues. While on scene, one of the parties advised she wanted to kill herself. She was transported to Parkridge East for a mental health evaluation.
3222 Gleason Drive- Stolen Vehicle Recovery- 20-013364-
While patrolling the parking lot of Ridgeview Pointe Apartments, officers observed a gray Kawasaki street bike backed into a parking spot on the northwest side of the 66-75 building. The GA tag EWZ708 was ran and dispatch advised it was stolen. There were no parties in the vicinity of the vehicle. The return advised was reported stolen out of Cobb County, GA. East Ridge Auto Electric responded and towed the vehicle for safekeeping. The vehicle was taken out of NCIC as stolen. There are no suspects at this time.
4222 Ringgold Road- Theft- 20-013366-
A store employee at Speedway stated a black male came into the store, went behind the counter, into the storeroom, and stole 4-5 cartons of cigarettes. The employee stated the suspect then entered a white SUV in the parking lot and proceeded west on Ringgold Road. The employee stated she had heard the suspect stole from another Speedway in CPD’s jurisdiction, in the same manner. The employee stated she believes the suspect may have inside information into store operations as they appear to strike just after cigarette delivery night. Another store employee followed the suspect out of the store and videoed the vehicle as it left. It is unclear, in the video, how many persons are in the vehicle.
3400 Ringgold Rd- Felony Evading (20-013367):
Police located the suspect vehicle of the speedway theft. Police attempted to stop a 2008 model white Ford Escape with temp tag of Q5VRGV2. The vehicle failed to stop for police. Per the East Ridge Police Department policy, police safely allowed the vehicle to flee.
