The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”
September 17 – Day Shift
3322 Ringgold Road (burglary):
Adam Wilcox was found trying to break into the coin boxes belonging to the car wash at this location. Owners of the property observed him via security cameras installed in the bays. Wilcox was also found to be in possession of meth and drug paraphernalia. He was transported to 601 Walnut Street.
1417 St. Thomas Street Room 122 (assist CPS):
CPS requested police standby for an emergency child removal from the Motel 6. The maternal grandmother of the nine-year-old child had just received emergency paperwork to remove the child from his mother who is a mental health consumer. The child and mother left with the grandmother.
6406 Ringgold Road (well being check):
Police responded to Portofino’s concerning a suspected intoxicated homeless man on the property. Contact was made with the man who explained he has brain damage which causes him to appear to be passed out at times. He was instructed to move along.
918 Donaldson Road #122 (disorder):
David James and his girlfriend got into a disorder which was verbal only. James was arrested on a warrant and taken to the county jail.
916 Donaldson Road #116 (arrest):
Martin Diaz-Roblero was arrested at this location after getting high and calling 911 claiming he was about to be shot when he wasn’t.

September 17 –Night Shift
1410 Mack Smith Rd (Theft 20-012388):
RP stated motorcycle helmets were stolen from their room at the Budgetel. Call was determined to be a civil matter between Budgetel and the RP.
730 Germantown Cir Apt 218 (Domestic Assault 20-012393):
RP stated her ex-boyfriend, Chelon Davis, forced his way into her apartment and assaulted her. Physical evidence viewed by officers supported her claims. Warrants sought for Aggravated Domestic Assault, False Imprisonment and Aggravated Burglary.
1612 Truman Ave (Suspicious Vehicle 20-012395):
Caller stated there was a Dodge Charger parked in front of her residence occupied by two parties. The parties were visiting neighbors.
515 Marlboro Ave (Follow-up 20-012157):
Officers conducted an interview with a possible burglary suspect from the early morning hours of September 13, 2020. The suspect gave a very detailed description of the events of his evening leading up to the attempted burglary. Contact was made with the victim who stated he didn’t wish to prosecute but did want the suspect trespassed from his property.
4018 Bennett Rd (Shots Fired 20-012400):
Caller stated he observed two or three vehicles parked next to each other and then heard a single shot. Officers recovered a shell casing from the roadway. The shell casing was placed into property and evidence and report completed.
323 Camp Jordan Pkwy (Intoxicated Party 20-012399):
RP stated a female in a black Honda CRV appeared intoxicated and was causing disorders with multiple people. Candace Mencer was taken into custody for public intoxication.
3000 Ringgold Rd (AOA):
Truck stuck in the tunnel east bound. Chattanooga units were unable to respond due to call volume. ERPD assisted the driver with traffic so he could back the truck out.
601 Walnut St (Warrant Arrest 20-012404):
Joseph Ervin was arrested on several East Ridge warrants at the Hamilton County Jail
3657 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 20-012405):
A registration check was conducted on a Jeep Wrangler in the parking lot of The Cascades revealing the vehicle was stolen out of Georgia. Contact was made with the occupants of room 74. Officers spoke with Justin Barlow and Brittney Brooks about the vehicle and learned Barlow possessed the key to the Jeep. Brooks stated Barlow did not know about the Jeep being stolen. She claimed responsibility for the vehicle. Officers observed a handgun in plain view in the motel room. Barlow was an admitted convicted felon from Georgia. Barlow also had a full extradition parole violation warrant through Georgia.
During the course of the investigation it was learned the tag was stolen from a 2007 Jeep Wrangler and had been placed on the 2008 Jeep Wrangler recovered. Brooks was charged with Theft Over $10,000 and Theft of Vehicle Tag. Barlow was charged with being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
6708 Ringgold Rd (DUI 20-012409):
Brandon Collins was taken into custody for DUI 2nd at this location.
4214 Ringgold Rd (Warrant Arrest 20-012410):
Chauncey Justice was turned over to police by Liberty Bonding. Justice had an active FTA warrant. He was processed and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
September 18 – Day Shift
3725 Fountain Ave Apt 17 (Warrant Service):
Demetrick Wynn was arrested on an outstanding East Ridge warrant for aggravated robbery after a brief foot chase.

September 18 – Night Shift
3725 Fountain Ave. / Alarm:
Police responded to an alarm in the main office. Everything appeared secure at the time of check.
1410 Mack Smith Rd. / Disorder:
Police responded to a disorder at this location between an unwanted party and the security staff. Upon arrival police observed the security staff holding the unwanted party down and advised police there was an assault that took place. Security later advised there was no assault they simply wanted the party criminally trespassed. Police took the male party into custody on active Hamilton County warrants but did not charge him with trespassing due to a lack of documentation on the original warning. Report on file.
S Germantown/Old Ringgold Rd:
Police attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a black GMC Yukon bearing an expired Tennessee drive out tag. The vehicle fled from officers at a high rate of speed northbound on S Germantown Road. Police did not pursue in accordance with policy.
1503 McDonald Road/Theft:
Rebecca Ward and Millard Winfrey were issued misdemeanor citations in leu of arrest for theft at this location. During a theft investigation it was determined that the housekeepers stole items out a room while cleaning.
4155 Ringgold Rd (Dominos) Drug Arrest/Traffic Stop –
Stacy Cantrell was arrested for possession of Meth and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop.
4214 Ringgold Road / Warrant Service:
Chattanooga Bonding surrendered Forrest Willing to East Ridge Police for two Forfeiture Capias Warrants (Possession of Schedule I/Heroin and Public Intoxication). Police located five more Forfeiture Capias warrants (2x Public Intox, 2 x driving on revoked, and 1 x criminal trespassing) and two felony arrest warrants. Police accepted custody of Mr. Willing and transported him to the Hamilton County Jail where they discovered a HC warrant for theft awaited. Total of 10 warrants served on Mr. Willing.
