On Tuesday, a man staying at the Budgetel was charged with Aggravated Assault after admitting to choking his mother.
According to a police report, Andrew Walker, 19, told officers he got into a fight with his mother after she wouldn’t let him watch American Horror Story on TV.
According to information on the Hamilton County Jail’s Website, Walker’s bond was set at $15,000. A court date has yet to be set.

Sept. 1 Day Shift
6200 Ringgold Road (Taco Bell)- Alarm-
Police responded to check the business. Upon arrival the alarm was found to be accidental.
8 Sheridan Road- Wellbeing Check-
The caller requested police check on her juvenile daughter at this location. Upon arrival the juvenile was not on scene, but the father was able to contact the mother.
5610 Ringgold Road (Easy Auto)- Property-
Police responded to a follow-up to an Auto Theft at the Easy Auto car dealership. Upon arrival officers met with staff members who reported that additional property was found in the recovered vehicle. There were several items of drug paraphernalia and mail. All items were entered in property.
774 Flinn Drive- Disorder-
The caller advised of a suspicious truck parked in front of her residence. While on the line with dispatch she initiated an argument with the owner of the vehicle. Upon arrival the truck was found to belong to a yard care service. It was leaving as officers arrived.
941 Spring Creek Road (Parkridge East)- Mental Health Consumer-
The caller requested police assistance with an unruly psych patient in the emergency room. Upon arrival officers were able to calm the patient.
1417 Saint Thomas Street (Motel 6)- Disorder-
The caller advised of a black male and a white female arguing in the parking lot. Upon arrival the two were separated and questioned. The argument was found to be verbal in nature. The couple went their separate ways.
6501 Ringgold Road (BB&T)- Hold Up Alarm-
Police responded to the business. Upon arrival officers spoke with the manager and found the alarm to be accidental.
Camp Jordan- Back Fire-
Police were dispatched with Fire on a possible brush fire. Upon arrival Fire handled the call.
4159 Ringgold Road (Bug Busters)- Disorder Prevention-
The caller requested police respond and stand by while she fired an employee. Upon arrival officers stood by while the bad news was delivered.
1417 Saint Thomas Street (Motel 6)- Suspicious Person/Arrest-
Kenneth Gilbert was arrested on theft charges.

823 S Germantown Rd / DUI:
John Mark Weaver was arrested for DUI and possession of schedule V after police observed him sitting in his vehicle in the middle of the road.
2 Lynncrest Drive / Misc:
The caller wanted to report that someone had entered her vehicle sometime between 1400 hours and 1800 hours while she was out to eat. Nothing was taken.
6514 Ringgold Road/Found property:
A store clerk located a wallet with prop money and a social security card belonging to Brian Westbrooks. The wallet and contents were placed into property and evidence.
