The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”
August 13 – Day Shift
3400 Gail Drive #29- Delayed Disorder/Aggravated Domestic Assault-
The complainant called to report Joshua Davis pulled a gun on her. Upon arrival the complainant advised the two had been arguing about childcare when Davis pointed a black handgun at her. He then left the apartment. The woman followed him but lost sight around the 500 block of South Seminole Drive. A short time later the complainant called again advising Davis had contacted her a second time at 1015 South Seminole Drive but had already left the area. While en route police observed Davis at the Mr. Zip gas station riding a motorcycle. Upon attempting to contact him he fled at a high rate of speed east on Ringgold Road. Other officers in the area also observed Davis traveling eastbound at approximately 80 miles per hour. A traffic stop was attempted but Davis refused to stop. Officers did not pursue. Multiple warrants are being sought.
Warrant Service-
Antonio Akridge was arrested at the police station after he turned in himself for an active arrest warrant with the charge of Harassment. Carlos Bail Bonding was present for the arrest and posted bond for Akridge at the police station.
5354 Matthews Drive- Suspicious Vehicle-
The caller advised of a red SUV driving up and down the street. She advised she felt it may be related to the assault from last night. Upon arrival the vehicle was not located.
5320 Clemons Road- Scammer-
The caller advised she received three calls from an unknown male using the name Kenneth Hernandez 504-710-0077. The male asked about her social security number. She advised she did not provide her information and hung up. She was advised to report the scammer through the FBI website.
1100 Spring Creek Road- Found Property-
The caller advised he found a large butcher knife under a tree across the street from the school. The knife was picked up and disposed of.
Main Street @ South Seminole Drive- Recovered Stolen Vehicle-
OnStar called to report a stolen Chevy Malibu disabled in the intersection. Upon arrival the vehicle was located and confirmed as stolen. The vehicle was removed from NCIC.
1410 Mack Smith Road (Budgetel #2115)- Domestic Assault-
Gaige Dwight was arrested after assaulting his girlfriend. He was transported to 601.
6512 Burr Street- Theft-
Complainant advised sometime between 2130 and 2330 hours on 8-12-20 someone took her tag (GA QAT1287) off her 2015 Honda Civic, that was parked in the front yard. The is no suspect information. Tag was entered in NCIC.
4003 Ringgold Road (Broomes)- Warrant Service-
Craig Sanborn was served several East Ridge warrants at the business.
Warrant Service-
Benny Hogston was arrested at the East Ridge Police Department on an active warrant for Theft over $1,000. Hogston turned himself into officers at the station and was bonded out by Gary Bond Company.
3415 Gail Drive- Death-
The resident was found deceased by his family. This incident will still be under investigation.

August 13 –Night Shift
6200 Ringgold Road / Unconscious person:
Keith Watkins was arrested for criminal impersonation after he was found to be asleep in front of Taco Bell for four hours. Watkins originally told police his name was Dakota Dodson since he had full extradition warrants out of Georgia.
406 Alice Drive / Arrest:
A juvenile male was arrested for sexual battery with the victim being his juvenile foster sister.
3400 Gail Drive / Criminal Trespass:
The complainant advised that while police were searching for Joshua Davis earlier in the afternoon, he called her to advise that he entered the apartment through the window to retrieve the rest of his belongings. There was no damage to the window and none of the woman’s belongings were taken.
6650 Ringgold Rd. / Fireworks:
Laquinta Inn called in reference to individuals shooting off fireworks. Police determined to fireworks were coming from Ga and were not endangering any citizens of East Ridge.
5830 Ringgold Rd / Suspicious:
Police received a call regarding a male and female who appeared to be intoxicated. Police responded and located to two parties in question who were displaying signs of heavy intoxication. Police identified the two parties as Emily Moore and Michael Pantages. Moore was charged with public intoxication and possession of schedule II narcotics with intent to distribute. Police also seized the 1,660 she was in possession of at the time of this incident. Pantages was charged with public intoxication, felon in possession of a firearm, and resisting arrest.
4214 Ringgold Road / Warrant Service:
Police served a warrant on Cedric Dewayne Hayes for violating Conditions of Release. He was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
3800 Ringgold Road / Traffic Stop:
Police observed a 1994 Honda Accord traveling westbound on Ringgold Road. The Honda’s right-side headlamp was inoperable, so police conducted a stop. Police requested to see the driver’s license which he stated that he left it at home. Police requested his name and DOB and ran it through dispatch. His return came back as Grady Careathers, driver’s license status revoked indefinitely for DUI. Mr. Careathers was taken into custody and charged with driving on revoked license.

August 14 – Day Shift
4214 Ringgold Road (warrant service):
HCSO made contact with Michael Hall on Bonny Oaks Drive and took him into custody for an outstanding East Ridge warrant.
406 Donaldson Road Apt. B (suspicious activity):
The tenant at this location called about unknown parties parking in the rear of her lot and walking to 408 Donaldson. The resident is concerned about possible drug activity. Police spoke to the parties and told them to move.
5816 Ringgold Road (auto theft recovery):
The manager of U-Haul reported the return of a stolen 2014 Ford Econoline which was stolen on August 12th.
5510 Ringgold Road (auto burglary):
A cell phone was stolen from a vehicle while the owner was shopping inside O’Reilly Auto Parts. No suspect.

August 14 – Night Shift
5408 Ringgold Rd (Unconscious Party 20-010649):
Johnathan Cochran was arrest for DUI 2nd after he was located passed out in his vehicle.
6013 Wentworth Ave (Domestic Disorder 20-010651):
Police responded in reference to yet another disorder at this location. Parties separated for the evening.
323 Camp Jordan Pkwy (Fight 20-10652):
Police were dispatched to a fight where 10 parties, adult males, were upset over a play during a softball game. Several parties were made to leave the park by the organizer of the tournament. The fight was verbal only.
601 Walnut St (Warrant Arrest):
Arrest warrant served on Charles Brown at the Hamilton County Jail.
4222 Ringgold Rd (Mentally Disturbed 20-010655):
Officers were dispatched to the Speedway, 4222 Ringgold Rd, when a female came inside the store and was talking to herself and not making any sense. Upon arrival, officers located her on the side of the store sitting in the rain. Upon making contact she stated she wanted to fight officers. After several minutes of speaking to her, she thought officers were other people. Officers made the decision to place her into protective custody and transport her to Parkridge East for a mental evaluation.
3100 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 20-010653):
Police arrested Lujennie Cagkler following a traffic stop. Ms. Cagkler had a revoked driver’s license and received several citations related to this case.
