The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”
Aug. 3 Day Shift
Donaldson Road @ Gleason Drive- Disorder with a Weapon-
Upon arrival, police contacted the complainant. He advised he was jogging on Donaldson Road when a vehicle backed out of the driveway at 739 Donaldson Road and struck him. He believed he was hit intentionally. Police also spoke with the driver, who advised he was leaving for work and did not see the jogger as he was backing. He advised he did not think he hit the jogger. The driver stated when he drove away, the jogger pulled his firearm and said “you’re lucky I didn’t shoot you. The jogger stated he did not pull his firearm but thinking that he was intentionally struck by the driver’s vehicle, advised that he did say that he was lucky that he didn’t shoot him. Upon speaking with both parties, the men declined to press any charges against each other.
3636 Indian Trail- Suspicious Activity-
The caller advised her neighbor observed a tent on her property. Upon arrival no one was located.
4811 Maryland Drive- Suspicious Person-
The anonymous caller advised of a white male going in and out of the wooded area close to this residence. Upon arrival officers checked the area but did not locate the suspicious male.
3920 Ringgold Road (Dollar General)- Suspicious Person-
The caller advised a tall male entered the store with a firearm in his pocket. He advised the male attempted to purchase items, but his card declined several times. Before leaving the male strangely looked around the store. Upon police arrival the subject was gone.
Warrant Service-
Willie L. Lowe was arrested in the 900 block of Spring Creek Road on an active East Ridge arrest warrant following a traffic stop. Lowe was transported to 601 Walnut Street.
422 Cedar Glen Circle- Suspicious Person-
The caller advised of a black female going door to door leaving notes on the doorsteps. Upon arrival police checked the area and located the female at 715 Frawley Road. She was identified, checked for warrants and sent on her way.

Night Shift
4222 Ringgold Rd / DUI:
Meckeal Gates was arrested for DUI and possession following a traffic stop at this location. Police located marijuana hidden inside his gas cap.
323 Camp Jordan Parkway/Check Well Being:
Police were sent to check on a female honking a car horn and flashing lights. The woman said she was kidnapped and held for three days in room 226 at Days Inn at 2350 Shallowford Village Drive. She said Arian Nation, White Supremacy and Ghost Face were after her. She was transported to Parkridge East where officers were called back later to calm her down due to her being combative. Report on file.
924 Spring Creek Road/Theft from Vehicle:
The complainant had his right rear wheel stolen off his 1993 Nissan Sentra while it was parked on the lot at this location.
924 Spring Creek Road/Suspicious Person:
Unknown person called reporting homeless people behind the surgery center. Francisco A. was checked for warrants and told to stay away from this business.
MM 183, I24 East Bound / Check Hazard:
Police responded to MM 183 to investigate objects in the middle lane of the Interstate. Upon arrival, police discovered a large brown leather chair sitting in the middle lane of traffic. Police closed off the far-left lane momentarily and moved the furniture to the left shoulder removing the hazard from the roadway. Unobstructed flow of traffic returned to normal.
4214 Ringgold Road / Warrant Service:
A No Bond, Probation Capias: Petition to Revoke Warrant for DUI was served on Antwon Spivey who was in custody at the Hamilton County Jail.
602 Melville Ave/Fraud:
The complainant called in stating that he gave his social security information and bank account information to a party on the telephone stating they were the IRS. Report on file.
1305 Sunnyfield Ln. / Disorder with Weapon:
Officers were dispatched to this address regarding a disorder with a weapon. Upon arrival officers found a man outside with a laceration to his head and a woman with a laceration to the left side of her neck. The male claimed the female was the aggressor for striking him and the female claimed the male was the aggressor for cutting her on the neck. At the time officers were on scene, the woman was transported to a local hospital and the man responded to a separate hospital. Officers were unable to determine a primary aggressor while on scene, given both subjects are now separated, charges will be filed pending further investigation.
