Man Shot on Reneau Way

Newschannel 9 is reporting that a homeowner was shot on Sunday morning outside his Reneau Way home.

East Ridge Police Chief Stan Allen told the television journalist that a homeowner came outside to check someone going through his car. The man at the vehicle shot the homeowner.

Chief Allen said the victim’s gunshot wound was not life-threatening. He was taken to a local hospital.

Chief Allen said there are no suspects in the incident.
