The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports” provided by the administration.
June 24 Day Shift
3612 Ida Bell Lane (suspicious person):
Police responded to a report of a female walking in the middle of the road and yelling at cars. Upon arrival, police made contact with the woman who stated she would go home and not bother anyone else.
524 A S. Lovell Avenue (auto burglary):
A white male wearing an orange hoodie and black pants entered an unlocked 2012 silver Toyota Tundra at this location making off with approximately $50 in cash. Footage was caught on the neighbor’s Ring doorbell camera.
523 S. Lovell Avenue (auto burglary):
The same suspect from the above listed address entered the unlocked 2010 black Nissan Armada parked at this residence. The victim stated she does not believe anything was taken.
3609 Glen Oaks Drive (harassment):
The complainant met police in the lobby of the police department and stated an unknown suspect utilizing the phone number 205-549-59– texted her and told her that they had been paid to assassinate her. The complainant did not respond and blocked the number.

Night Shift
6200 Ringgold Road (Assault):
Police responded to the area of a fight in the drive thru area of the Taco Bell. Upon arrival police spoke with several parties involved. Two juveniles were released to their parents and juvenile attachments will be taken out on one employee for assault.
1111 S Seminole Dr (Simple Possession):
Shelby Thurman was issued a misdemeanor citation for simple possession of marijuana following a traffic stop at this location.
3647 Shirl Jo Ln (Overdose):
A male subject overdosed on supposedly half a Roxy. Police administered 4mg of Narcan with no effect. EMS arrived an additional 2mg was administered where he became alert. He was transported to Parkridge East for medical evaluation. An overdose report has been completed.
948 Spring Creek Rd (vandalism):
At the Shell gas station two Hispanic males (unknown) entered the store attempting to buy cigarillos without an ID. When the sale was refused by the attendant at the gas station, the two Hispanic males got aggressive and pushed over a display then proceeded to slam the exit door and break the glass. They left the scene in a red Subaru with a tag belonging to another vehicle.
