The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports provided by the administration.
June 17 – Night Shift
4006 Bennett Road (Domestic Assault):
Noe Simmons was arrested for Domestic Assault against her mother. Simmons assaulted police and resisted arrest while officers were attempting to take her into custody. Simmons was charged with Domestic Assault, Aggravated Assault on Police, and Resisting Arrest.
3913 Bennett Road (Vandalism):
The resident called to report a hole in the front of window of her home. There was a small circular shaped hole in the window. The resident handed over a piece of metal that she found. The piece of metal appears to be a type of pellet possibly from a pellet gun. The pellet was entered into Property/Evidence.
6401 Ringgold Rd/ warrant service:
Police made a consensual encounter with THOMPSON, CURTIS and SILVERS, JAMES at this location. Police discovered Mr. Thompson had warrants through Hamilton County. Mr. Silvers fled the area but did not have any warrants. Mr. Thompson was taken to the Hamilton County Justice Center.
5298 Weaver St/ suspected narcotics violation:
Following a traffic stop. Police took possession of 72.9 grams of a white powdery substance, from Marquis Carr. The suspected narcotic will be sent off to the lab for testing. Charges pending the lab results.

June 18 –Day Shift
3984 Ringgold Road (Stop and Go Food Mart)- Panhandler-
The caller advised of a white male asking customers for money by the gas pumps. Upon arrival police encountered James H. While speaking with James he requested a ride to Parkridge East due to a previously acquired infection. His request was granted. After several more encounters with James he was last observed walking into Chattanooga on Spring Creek Road.
730 Germantown Circle (Germantown Gardens)- Animal Call-
The caller advised of two aggressive dogs that would not allow her to leave the dog park. Upon arrival contact was made with the “aggressive animals”. Both were detained without incident. Animal Control responded and took control of the dogs.
1410 Mack Smith Road (Budgetel #4302)- Disorder-
The caller advised Jimmy Maxwell and Amber Brooks were involved in a disorder this morning. Upon arrival officers spoke with the couple. Upon checking their information Maxwell was found to have non extraditable warrants through Georgia and a protection order through Indiana with Brooks as the protected party. Police were unable to confirm the protection order and the disorder was verbal in nature. Maxwell called several more times today regarding Brooks “telling lies on him.” Upon arrival back to the motel he refused to speak with officers.
6725 Ringgold Road (Chattanooga Mercantile)- Unwanted People-
The caller advised of homeless people congregating in front of the business harassing customers. The subjects were gone before police arrival. They were last observed walking west through the parking lot.
5003 Covington Drive- Scammer-
The resident stated at around 1100 hours this date, he received a phone call from an “Anthony Cooper,” claiming to be with the Social Security Admin-Chattanooga office. He advised the resident that a car had been rented in his name in the State of Texas that had been recovered by law enforcement. The caller advised it contained money, drugs, and had “blood in the car”. “Cooper” then stated if the resident wanted to get the matter “cleared up”, he needed to obtain a 200 Google Play card and call back. The resident purchased the card and provided the number to the “Cooper” party and was then provided a number for a law enforcement agency in Kansas. When the resident called the agency in Kansas, they had no knowledge of what he was talking about and referred him to his local agency for a report. There are no suspects.
4214 Ringgold Road- Domestic Disorder-
A woman came into the lobby today advising she and her daughter, Destiny Gaddis were involved in a disorder. Upon arrival Gaddis was detained due to warrants for her arrest through Hamilton County. She was transported to 601. The disorder was found to be verbal in nature.
Ringgold Road @ Waterhouse- Failure to Stop-
Police attempted a traffic stop on two sport type motorcycles. The motorcycles failed to stop and were last observed traveling south on Waterhouse. Police did not pursue.
June 18 – Night Shift
941 Spring Creek Road (Parkridge East) / Overdose:
Parkridge East requested police assistance to report an overdose. The victim was dropped at the emergency room door by two males in a red Chevy Silverado. After dropping the body of the victim, they fled from the scene. The medical staff administered 5 doses of NARCAN reviving him. He stated that while traveling northbound on I75 in vicinity of exit 1, he injected heroin with fentanyl rendering him unconscious. The medical staff discovered him not breathing and no pulse before administering the NARCAN. He now recovers in the ER.
4214 Ringgold Road / Warrant Service:
Police served a forfeiture capias warrant for Possession of Schedule II Narcotics (#139174) and a forfeiture capias warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia (#139175) on Christian Seth Robinette who is in custody at the Hamilton County Jail.
6600 Ringgold Rd / Traffic:
Police took Megan Matney and Dillion Jones into custody for felony warrants through Hamilton County following a traffic stop at this location.
6500 Ringgold Rd / Business Check:
While conducting a business check of this location police encountered Joseph Camacho and discovered he was in possession of a stolen motorcycle. Police took Camacho into custody, while in police custody Camacho requested medical attention and was taken to Parkridge East Hospital where he was admitted. Warrants are being sought for theft over $10,000.
3508 Ringgold Road (Fraud):
The Pharmacy Manager at Walgreens called police to report Leslie Lay had passed a forged prescription for Adderall. the manager advised she confirmed the prescription was fake by contacting the doctor’s office that was printed on the prescription. Lay was not on scene when police arrived. Warrants are being sought.
1410 Mack Smith Rd (Budgetel Inn)/ Overdose:
Police were called to this location to assist EMS with an overdose. A male patient was transported to Park Ridge East hospital. Police collected a small amount of drug paraphernalia from the scene.
6401 Ringgold Rd/ DUI:
Police were called to his location for a hit and run. Police located and arrested William Birkhead, for DUI, Schedule I, possession of Meth, drug paraphernalia.
941 Spring Creek Road / Found Property:
Knife found in parking lot by Hospital security.
June 19 – Day Shift
829 S. Germantown Rd. (suspicious person):
Police were dispatched to this location regarding a male party named Dustin Long who was believed to be inside the residence. RP stated Mr. Long was not to be on the property. Police found Mr. Long hiding on the roof of the home. The RP arrived and stated Mr. Long was her brother and she did not want him coming back to her home, unless she was there.
708 Marley Way (burglary):
Police were dispatched to this location regarding a burglary. Upon arrival police spoke with property maintenance who stated someone had forced their way into the apartment. The RP stated no one was supposed to be in the apartment, and she believes this could be an attempted squatting or fraudulent rental agreement. CID responded to the scene.
1145 Tamarack Trail (suspicious person):
Police were dispatched to this location regarding a female caller who stated someone had followed her home. Upon police arrival, RP stated she was just concerned because the person had followed her from Hixson. Police searched the area, but the person was not located.
Stone St./McBrien Rd:
Police responded to an unconscious person near this location. Officers spoke with Richard F. who advised that he was taking a nap after walking all day. He was transported to Parkridge East by EMS.
June 19 – Night Shift
I75 N (arrest):
Arrik Bennett issued a misdemeanor citation for driving on suspended.
3657 Ringgold Rd Room 54 (Disorder):
A woman called police when her cousin, Michael Tate, arrived at her room severely intoxicated. Tate passed out and vomited on the floor before police arrival. All attempts were made to find Tate a ride but were unsuccessful. Tate was arrested for public intoxication and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
5419 Marion Avenue (fight):
A report of five intoxicated Hispanic males fighting in a vacant lot near this location. Police arrived on scene and Osmilber Cifuentes Velasques decided to flee on foot. He was quickly hit with a (perfect spread) taser ending the foot pursuit. He was taken to the hospital for evaluation by EMS and warrants were taken out.
1000 Bass Pro Dr (arrest):
Michael Harrison and Becky Branam were taken into custody for possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia after police observed them engaging in sexual intercourse in the parking lot.
