The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports provided by the administration.
June 9 Day Shift
5400 blk of Weaver Street- Suspicious Person/Arrest-
The reporting party advised dispatch of an intoxicated half-naked female walking in the street. When police arrived on scene, they located the female who is known as Shelly Moore. While evaluating Moore, officers noticed she continually talked to herself and her pupils were dilated. When asked, Moore admitted to using drugs, but she stated it was a week ago. Moore was taken into custody for public intoxication and transported to 601. Her vehicle was towed by Broomes.
6514 Ringgold Road (Mapco)- Shoplifting-
The caller advised a black male exited the store with a case of beer without paying. The suspect fled the area on foot traveling south on McDonald Road. Officers located the suspect, Michael Gordon in a neighborhood behind the business. He was transported to 601.
4339 Ringgold Road (Quick Stop Exxon)- Mental Health Consumer-
The caller advised of a female at the business in distress. Upon arrival officers spoke to the woman. She advised she had been feeling depressed and requested transport to Parkridge East. She was transported.
While officers were out with her, her mother called to report her missing. The mother was advised her daughter was transported to the hospital per her request.
4339 Ringgold Road (Quick Stop Exxon)- Suspicious People-
While on another call police were notified by a citizen of a male and female passed out in a vehicle at the gas pumps. Officers located a green Toyota occupied by a male in the driver seat and a female in the front passenger seat. The vehicle was on and running and both parties appeared to be asleep. Officers were able to rouse the parties after observing them for several minutes. The parties were identified as Terry Gilbert and Christy Gilbert. Officers asked the Gilberts about sleeping in the vehicle at the gas pumps. They stated they were waiting for a friend and both fell asleep. While speaking with the parties an information check was conducted revealing Christy Gilbert had possible warrants through Catoosa County. While officers awaited verification of the warrants the K9 unit was summoned. The K9 alerted to the odor of narcotics on the passenger side of the car. A probable cause search was conducted. A purse was in the passenger side floorboard containing two sets of digital scales with a white powder residue on them, a cut straw with a white powder residue inside, razor blades and one- and one-half alprazolam pills. Christy Gilbert was notified of her Miranda rights and agreed to speak with police. She stated the items located in the purse were hers. She was transported to the Hamilton County Jail charged with Possession of Schedule IV and Drug Paraphernalia.
1031 John Ross Road (Mountain View Property Management)- Theft-
Upon arrival police spoke with the reporting party. She advised her monthly rent payment was missing. The woman advised sometime between 6-5 and 6-6 an unknown suspect removed her payment from the drop box. The woman stated the payment was $750 in cash. After speaking with her, police spoke with an employee with Mountain View Property. The employee stated she came to work on 6-8 and checked the overnight drop box. She advised she found several payments inside, but the reporting party’s was not there. At the time of this report, there were no witnesses or security camera footage available of the possible theft.

Night Shift
4214 Ringgold Road / Warrant Service:
Police served an arrest warrant (#127021) on Keyra Polk for Probation Capias: Petition to Revoke for DUI. Ms. Polk was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail. She will be held on No Bond.
5301 Ringgold Road / Shoplifting:
Walgreens called police in reference to a party the thought may be shoplifting, police contacted the party and conducted a consensual search of his bag which resulted in Joseph Stevens being issued a misdemeanor citation for possession of drug paraphernalia.
6514 Ringgold Road / Suspicious vehicle:
Police were called due to a white Nissan parked on the side of the store for a long period of time. Dakota Snyder was arrested for DUI and possession of drug paraphernalia. John Doe (aka Yasko Hunt) was arrested for public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia.
941 Spring Creek Road (Warrant Service):
Police were dispatched to Parkridge East due to the caller requesting a ride from officers. The caller, Alvin Horton, is the owner of a vehicle that recently fled from a traffic stop in East Ridge. Horton had multiple warrants through Walker County. Horton was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
4878 Delaware Dr/ Check Hazard:
Police responded to this area for a tree down, across the entire road. Police contacted the street dept. and stood by, until the tree was removed.
912 Mockingbird Dr/ Vehicle recovery:
Police were called to this location for an auto theft report. Upon arrival police spoke to the victim who told police someone stole his 2017 Kia Forte and he believes it was his 18-year-old daughter, Ella. while on scene Ella pulled into the driveway. Ella was arrested for theft over $10,000, driving without a license, and simple possession. Report filed.
