The following information was provided by reports from the administration of the East Ridge Police Department.
April 8 Day Shift
1521 Fruitland Drive- Rolling Disorder-
Two motorists were involved in a rolling disorder originating in Polk County and continued through several jurisdictions until reaching East Ridge. The two were traffic stopped at 1521 and detained. Upon investigation it was found the occurrences in East Ridge were verbal only. One driver, Amber Monday, was cited for driving on revoked and her vehicle was towed by Broomes. The second driver was sent on his way. Polk County and McMinn County were contacted regarding the alleged assault but failed to respond.
730 Germantown Circle #919 (Germantown Gardens)- Apartment Fire-
Police responded with Fire on an apartment fire. Upon police arrival contact was made with the occupants. A grease fire was observed and put out with an extinguisher. Once fire arrived, they took over the scene.
3715 Ringgold Road (Food City)- Vandalism/Possible Theft-
The caller advised sometime during the night an unknown suspect pried open the dollar machine and took the cask holder from a Coke machine in front of the business. It is currently unknown if any money was taken. CID was notified.
4911 A Maryland Drive- Aggravated Burglary-
Upon arrival police spoke with the victim. She advised sometime between 1100 hrs and 1120 hrs on this date, an unknown subject entered her unsecured residence and removed three bottles of medication. CID was notified.
4235 Greenbriar Road #1- Apartment Fire-
Police responded with Fire on an apartment fire. Upon arrival police were released by command. Fire Handled the call.
Shortly after police left the scene CPD requested officers look for a Phillip Moye at this address. CPD advised Moye was wanted on felony charges. Upon arrival back Moye was located and detained without incident. He was turned over to CPD.
Ringgold Road/McBrien Road-
Two motorists, Jamya P. and Cedric Hayes were involved in a rolling disorder that originated at an address on Hurst Street. During the incident Hayes struck Jamya’s car with his and attempted to run her off the road. Hayes fled the area toward Brainard upon police arrival. Upon speaking with Jamya, she advised Hayes had entered her home, brandished a firearm and struck her.
A short time later CPD located Hayes at his address on Appling Street and detained him. Police went to their location and took Hayes into custody. He was transported to 601 with multiple felony charges.

Night Shift
3211 Blackhawk Trail / assist a citizen:
Police responded to a call regarding a black male wearing an orange shirt and screaming in the street. Police found a subject matching that description sitting on the porch at this address. He noted he had not been taking his medication to prevent him from hallucinating. He asked police to transport him to Joe Johnson Mental Health to be helped. Police did transport him to Joe Johnson per his request without further incident.
3738 Anderson Ave / neighbor dispute:
Quatisha B. and Kayla Walls were involved in a disorder due to Quatisha’s children throwing a ball into Walls’ yard. Walls threatened Quatisha, and due to Walls residing across the street within the city limits of Chattanooga, CPD responded and cited Walls for assault. Quatyisha requested extra patrol due to fear of retaliation.
5517 Ringgold Rd (The Coin Laundry) / Theft:
The complainant reported that $1,200 worth of clothing was stolen out of the dryer while she left the laundromat for fifteen minutes. The suspects are a white female and a white male driving a Chevrolet SUV with duct tape on the passenger rear window.
1306 W End Ave/ Assault:
Yarliivan Martinez Idrobo was arrested for False Imprisonment, Assault, and Interference with 911 calls at this location after a disorder with his friend.
1015 South Seminole / Arrest:
Jerrell Quarles was arrested for driving under the influence after police received a call about an unresponsive person behind the wheel of a vehicle.
