April 07 – Day Shift
4150 Monroe Street (domestic):
Police responded to Walmart in reference to an alleged physical altercation between a woman and her child’s father. Both claimed to have been assaulted by the other following an argument. Neither had injuries, and police could not determine a primary aggressor. Both parties separated.
906 Yale Street (theft):
The East Ridge sign shop reported the theft of a small air compressor from the property. A video dated 4/2/20 at about 20:30 hours shows three or four masked individuals cut the chained gate open and steal the compressor. CID was contacted, and a video copy will be provided to police.
806 McHann Drive (found property):
Complainant said he found his Haro bicycle he reported stolen yesterday. He advised that his grandson rode it to a friend’s house and left it there. The bike was removed from NCIC.
3617 Craig Road Side B (assault on police):
Police responded in reference to a disorder with a weapon between Jacob Frederick and his grandmother. Jacob, who was intoxicated, became disorderly. When police attempted to escort him outside he struck at officers, scratched them and attempted to bite and kick them. He was transported by ambulance to Parkridge East Hospital. Warrants will be taken out.

April 07 – Night Shift
915 Harris Lane (Domestic Assault):
Joshua Boyd was arrested for Domestic Assault on his father,. Joshua trashed a downstair’s room in their home, and lunged toward his father after squaring up in a fighting stance.
3407 Gail Dr. (barking dogs):
While on patrol police heard two dogs continually barking in the backyard of this address. Police discovered two pit bulls chained up in the back yard. Police attempted to contact the resident, but no one came to the door.
1141 S. Seminole Dr. (noise complaint):
Police were dispatched to this location regarding fireworks being shot in the driveway. Police made contact with the resident. Police explained the fireworks laws for East Ridge, he agreed to stop shooting the fireworks off.
5400 Oakdale:
Nancy Roundtree was issued a misdemeanor citation for possession of controlled substance (schedule II) following a crash at this location.
