The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports provided by the administration.
April 2– Day Shift
6700 Ringgold Road (pedestrian struck):
A vehicle merged into another vehicle forcing it onto the sidewalk at which time a pedestrian was struck and knocked on top of the car. He was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
5301 Ringgold Road (theft):
Walgreen’s loss prevention reported discovering a long-term employee has been stealing groceries for years. They are in the initial stages of their internal investigation.

April 2 – Night Shift
4222 Ringgold Rd. (warrant service):
Shanetra Mckinney turned herself in on a petition to revoke warrant. Mckinney was released on an OR (own recognizance) bond.
5301 Marion Ave (auto theft):
Complainant called to report that her ex-boyfriend stole her 2000 Chevrolet S10. Vehicle was entered into NCIC.
5816 Ringgold Rd (Uhaul/fire):
Reporting party called in they were passing Uhaul and saw smoke. Police searched the area but did not locate anything.
1308 West End Ave (Auto Theft):
Complainant reported her 2006 Nissan Altima was stolen from this address by a black male in his early 20s. She stated she walked in the residence for five minutes (keys left inside) when she heard the vehicles engine revving. Vehicle was last seen traveling north on West End.

April 03 – Day Shift
183 I-24 East (Off Ramp)- Pan Handlers-
Upon arrival no pan handlers were in our jurisdiction. Some were observed in CPD jurisdiction. They left the area toward Brainerd upon observing police.
3711 Norma Drive- Suspicious Activity-
The caller advised of seeing unknown people across the street from her residence. Upon arrival no one was located.
3984 Ringgold Road (Stop and Go Pharmacy)- Mental Health Consumer-
Police were initially dispatched on a domestic assault. The caller advised an older white male was striking an older white female with a stick in the parking lot. Upon arrival all parties involved advised there was no assault, just a mental health consumer having an episode.
3216 Castle Avenue- Missing Adult-
Police and Fire responded to this address regarding the caller’s mother, being missing. Upon arrival a lengthy search of the area was conducted. During the search it was found an elderly female had been knocking on doors around 0143 hours this morning. The missing woman was found at the bottom of a ravine behind 3223 Castle Avenue. She was transported to Parkridge East.
4150 Ringgold Road (Walmart)- Disorder-
The caller advised of a male and female arguing over a parking space in the lot. She further advised the male attempted to hit the female with his vehicle. Upon arrival neither the male nor female could be located.

April 03– Night Shift
601 Walnut St / Warrant service:
Justin Gass was served with an East Ridge warrant while incarcerated at the Hamilton County Jail.
5401 Ringgold Rd / Auto Theft:
The complainant pulled into the parking lot of the First Tennessee Bank to utilize the ATM and left his 1998 Ford F-150 running due to his dog being in the vehicle. While inside the bank’s vestibule, someone attempted to take his truck but were unable to do so having no knowledge of pulling a trailer. The suspect left the vehicle jackknifed in the parking lot. The complainant was unable to provide any suspect description.
4400 Bennett Rd / Domestic:
Police observed a red sedan driving south on Tombras and then west onto Bennett. The vehicle was driving in a manner which was causing danger to others in the area weaving in both lanes of travel at a high rate of speed. Police stopped the vehicle an determined the occupants were involved in a domestic assault while driving. Dustin Walton was taken into custody for Domestic Assault, Aggravated Child Endangerment, and Interference with Emergency Calls

April 04 – Day Shift
Warrant Service-
Tommy Johnson was served with an East Ridge warrant at 601.
5315 Weaver Street- Disorder-
Upon arriving on scene police observed a white male known as Steven J. standing in the front yard of the residence shirtless. Officers were informed by the homeowner that Steven did not live at the address. The man was informed that he is not welcome at the address at request of the homeowner. Steven requested to go the hospital for medical treatment.
4338 Ringgold Road (Food Lion)- Auto Theft/Recovery-
Complainant called to report his vehicle stolen from the parking lot. While en route the complainant called back to advise he located his vehicle in the lot.
Spring Creek Road @ Graston Avenue- Suspicious Person-
The caller advised of a shirtless male yelling and cursing in the area. Upon arrival police again encountered Steven J. He again requested an ambulance.
3224 Navajo Drive (Unitarian Universalist Church)- Alarm-
Police responded and checked the church. Workers were found working. The alarm was accidental.
6300 Ringgold Road (Krystal)- Indecent Exposure-
An employee called police regarding a white female urinating and defecating in the parking lot. Police arrived and located an elderly female, who stated she became suddenly ill after ingesting a Krystal burger. She went on to describe an event of exploding diarrhea. Police immediately detected the strong odor of feces. Feces was observed in the parking lot and on the door of her vehicle. She agreed to return with bleach and disinfect the area.
5740 Ringgold Road (Goodwill Donation Center)-
The caller advised of a naked white female at the business going through the donations and changing clothes. Upon arrival the female was clothed. She was transported through the tunnels and advised not to return to the donation center.
5740 Ringgold Road (Goodwill Donation Center)- Warrant Service/Suspicious People-
Curtis Collier and Holly G. were observed going through the donations. Collier was found to have felony warrants through Hamilton County and was transported to 601. Holly was advised not to return to the donation center.

April 04 – Night Shift
1417 Dover Ln / Delayed burglary:
The victim called to report his home was burglarized and $11,000 worth of items were stolen back in October 2019. The victim advised he did not call police and make a report because he did not know who broke into his home. The victim now wants to report the crime due to him have possible suspect information.
1200 Greenslake Road/Assist Fire Department:
Fire Dept. requested police on a trash fire.
1235 John Ross Rd / domestic assault:
Daniel Suarez was arrested for aggravated domestic assault at Erlanger Hospital after it was reported that Daniel Suarez choked, stomped, and kicked the victim out of the house. Medical on scene stated injuries matched up with the statements.

April 05 – Day Shift
5707 Ringgold Road (Dollar General)- Delayed Shoplifting-
The caller advised a homeless female took items from the business last night.
1410 Mack Smith Road (Budgetel # 1313)- Mental Health Consumer-
A male subject called to advise he was hearing voices. Upon arrival he advised police he did not wish to harm himself but wanted police to frequent the area so no one will harm him.
Later in the shift police responded back to this room regarding the voices. He still refused any sort of medical treatment.
323 Camp Jordan Parkway (Arena)- Threats-
A female called to advise her estranged husband called her while she was conducting a child exchange with her mother. She is a resident of Chattanooga. She stated her estranged husband made threats to harm her over the phone. He had apparently been enraged by a video she had posted to social media of her singing. He warned her to take the video down from social media or he would kill her. She asked about the process for obtaining a protection order and she was advised.
Warrant Service-
Jessica Burns was arrested at 3113 7th Avenue in Chattanooga on a Capias for Arrest of Probationer/Petition to Revoke through the City of East Ridge. Burns was transported to the Hamilton County Jail at 601 Walnut Street.
5406 Connell Street- Theft-
The caller wished to report the theft of his vehicle registration sticker. There are no suspects.
5707 Ringgold Road (Dollar General)- Suspicious Activity/Criminal Trespass-
Dylan Griffith was criminally trespassed from the business due to a possible theft of merchandise.
5707 Ringgold Road (Dollar General)- Theft Under-
Tanisha Robinson was issued a misdemeanor citation for a delayed theft of merchandise. She also had warrants through Hamilton County. She was transported per their request.

April 05 – Night Shift
6013 Wentworth Ave / Disorder with a weapon:
William Vaughn was arrested for reckless endangerment after he pointed his Glock 17 9mm at his neighbors because they wouldn’t turn their music down.
Larry Ln / Explosion:
Police were dispatched to an explosion on Larry Lane which turned out to be a family grilling hamburgers. No explosion took place.
Ringgold Road @ Prigmore Road / Hit and Run:
A white Ford F250 driven by a Hispanic male turned south on Prigmore Road hitting a silver Chevrolet Silverado traveling south bound on Ringgold Road.
