The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports provided by the administration.
March 18 Day Shift
941 Spring Creek Road (medical):
Police responded to the hospital after a recently discharged patient did not want to leave. After speaking with her it was determined that she would benefit from further medical assistance. She agreed to re-visit the emergency room.
1009 McBrien Road (theft):
The resident reported that his utility trailer was stolen from his driveway while he was at work. The trailer was entered into NCIC.
601 Walnut Street (warrant service):
Kelly Hamrick was arrested at the Hamilton County Jail on active East Ridge warrants for burglary and theft of property.

Night Shift
5712 Ringgold Rd/ Groomes Transportation (property):
RP called in stating someone hit his parked vehicle while out of town. Police determined the damage the RP was referring to were bugs and wiped them away. No damage to either vehicle found.
1882 Prigmore Rd (Identity Theft):
The complainant called police after he observed he had two fraudulent transactions from his bank account. Both transactions occurred on 3/18/2020 at two different gas stations in Miami, Florida. No suspects at this time.
7010 Moreview Rd. (AOA):
CPD requested ERPD send a unit to this location to check for a light blue Kia Sorento. The vehicle was reported as stolen. Police checked the area several times throughout the shift, but no Kia Sorento was located.
6700 Ringgold Rd. (2 Dogs & a Broken down van):
Police were dispatched to the Quality Inn, regarding two dogs that were inside of a van that had broken down in the parking lot. Unbeknownst to the caller, the owner of the dogs and the van was inside the motel seeking help.
1100 Spring Creek Rd. (Alarm):
Police were dispatched to Spring Creek Elementary, regarding an alarm. Upon arrival, police spoke with a teacher who accidentally set the alarm off.
3700 Whitehead Avenue (Disorder):
The resident called police because he was in a disorder with his twelve year old daughter. The father advised she attempted to break down his bedroom door after he took away her chromebook. The juvenile seemed receptive to conversation that was had with officers and advised she would stop acting out towards her father.
