The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports.
March 5– Day Shift
5359 Haisten Court (auto theft arrest):
The complainant’s 1992 red Chevy C10 (TN: NCE404) was stolen by James Mullis at this location. The vehicle has been entered into NCIC. Warrants were taken out for Mullis who was later located sitting inside of the vehicle and taken into custody.
5314 Dupont St (domestic assault):
Kenneth Davis was arrested for domestic assault against his girlfriend. Police observed a disorder between the two in front of the police department, and during the course of the investigation discovered that Mr. Davis assaulted the victim at the above listed residence.
6650 Ringgold Road (auto burglary):
The complainant reported the burglary of her 2007 Cadillac Escalade on the lot of the LaQuinta overnight. The vehicle had been secured and was entered through a broken window.
6650 Ringgold Road (theft):
The complainant accidentally left her purse on the parking lot of the LaQuinta Inn prior to leaving the property. An employee found the purse and turned it in to management. When the complainant returned for the purse she found over six hundred dollars cash and prescription meds missing from her wallet. No exterior security cameras are located where the purse was left.

March 05 – Night Shift
5301 Ringgold Rd (DUI):
Tiffany Hood was arrested for driving under the influence and following too closely after being involved in a crash at this location.

March 06 – Day Shift
Warrant Service-
Robert D Smith was served two East Ridge warrants following a traffic stop.
1015 Hibbler Circle- Suspicious Vehicle-
The caller advised of a blue vehicle parked in front of their neighbor’s residence. Upon arrival police spoke with the vehicle owner. He advised he was visiting family at this address.
1665 Waterhouse Street (Scott Memorial Church)- Suspicious Vehicle-
The caller advised of a white Chevy parked on the church lot. Upon arrival the vehicle was found to not be stolen and was stickered.
1014 John Ross Road (East Ridge Elementary)- Assault-
Upon arrival police spoke with the assistant principal who stated he received a note from a student this date, stating that a “teacher had grabbed her” sometime during the afternoon on 3-5-20, while in class. The assistant principal stated that he spoke with the teacher who stated that during an activity in class on 3-5-20, she had to “re-direct” the student, but denied “anything physical” occurred. The assistant principal stated that he had already filed a CPS report prior to police arrival.
3320 Ringgold Road (Fabric Care Laundry)- Domestic Disorder-
The caller advised a male and female were fighting. Upon arrival police spoke to both parties. Both advised the disorder was verbal.

March 06– Night Shift
6708 Ringgold Rd (Circle K)/ Public intoxication:
Ms. Bean was arrested for public intoxication and criminally trespassed from this location.
5300 Roosevelt / Abandoned Auto:
Police observed a vehicle bearing Tennessee registration CP06449 in the dead end of this location, the vehicle appeared to be abandoned however police were unable to verify its status due to NCIC being down.
1300 S. Seminole / Evading:
An early model green F-150 bearing unknown Ga registration fled from police at this location. BOLO issued.
1410 Mack Smith Rd. / Assist Medical:
Police assisted Fire and EMS with a fall victim. It was determined the victim was attempting to leave in his vehicle but was too intoxicated to make it and fell in the parking lot.
6519 Ringgold Rd. / Well-being check:
Officers responded to the address regarding a suicidal person. Officers contacted a female subject. She was transported to Parkridge East for an evaluation.

March 07 – Day Shift
6500 blk of Ringgold Road- Traffic Stop/Gang Validation-
Cody Ringley was encountered on a traffic stop this morning. Gang Investigator/Coordinator Hackett was able to validate him as a ghost face gangster.
1410 Mack Smith Road (Budgetel #4312)- Unwanted Person-
Motel management called requesting police assist in removing a disruptive guest. Upon arrival the guest left without incident.
2011 McBrien Road- Disorder-
The caller advised she was threatened by her neighbor during an encounter about their dogs attacking hers. Upon arrival police spoke to all parties involved and advised them to keep away from the each other.
5310 Bennett Road- Warrant Service/Evading/Gang Validation-
Matthew and Kristina Poythress were detained on child support warrants and transported to 601. Matthew also acquired the charge of evading and criminal impersonation due to him running from officers. Gang Investigator/Coordinator Hackett was able to validate Poythress as a member of the Aryan Brotherhood.
1316 Sunnyfield Lane- Dog Bite-
Upon arrival police located the victim with severe lacerations to his arms and neck. Witnesses on scene advised the victim was attacked by the neighbor’s large dog. He was transported to Erlanger. Animal control responded and took a bite report.

March 07 – Night Shift
6600 Ringgold Road/Traffic-Misdemeanor Citation:
Nigel R. Winfield was issued a misdemeanor citation for Driving While License Revoked, Suspended.
408 Donaldson Rd. / Warrant Service:
Patsy Quarles was served with an active East Ridge warrant for theft.
1500 Keeble St. / Warrant Service:
Police made contact with Carmen Webb after she was observed taking items from the Goodwill. Webb returned the items but was found to have active warrants through Hamilton County for prostitution, paraphernalia, and controlled substance. Webb was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
1000 Bass Pro Drive / Auto Burglary:
Police responded to Bass Pro to investigate a theft from vehicle. Upon arrival, police spoke to the juvenile victim, who stated that between 1615 and 1645 hours, someone entered his truck and stole a book bag with an IPad and two chargers, a baseball bag with a glove, cleats, helmet, and bat along with $240 cash. Total estimated loss: $1,040. No witnesses and no security camera footage of the parking lot.
3801 Ringgold Rd at the Level Up Arcade (vandalism):
Unknown party called in to report possible damage to the window at this address. No responsible could be reached and the date and time of the damage is unknown. Police will wait util a responsible party reports this to determine the report needed.
1417 St Thomas St/ Warrant service:
Keith Henson was taken into custody on an East Ridge warrant following a traffic stop.
6005 Welworth Avenue / Overdose:
Police were dispatched to 6005 Welworth Avenue regarding a drug overdose. Upon arrival, police found a person unresponsive and not breathing. Officers delivered two doses of narcan prior to fire and EMS arrival which resulted in the subject beginning to breathe. Fire and EMS then took over patient care and delivered one more dose of narcan which caused the person to become responsive. Police spoke to the subject’s boyfriend who was also on scene. The man stated that they had both injected heroin about 15 minutes prior to the subject becoming unresponsive. Police did not observe any narcotics or paraphernalia on scene. EMS transported the subject to Parkridge East ER.

March 08 – Day Shift
Officers located several juveniles involved in the fight on 3-6 at the Pioneer Park and history center. Interviews were conducted.
4300 Lazard Street- Suspicious Activity-
The caller advised of people in the roadway breaking the asphalt. Upon arrival it was found a plumbing company was working on sewer lines.
1410 Mack Smith Road (Budgetel)- Disorder Prevention-
Police stood by while Deljara B. left the property again. He was picked up by his mothe

March 08 – Night Shift
3 Sheridan Avenue / Suspicious Person:
Police arrived on scene and observed Adrian Craighead stumbling down the stairs from the front porch of this residence which turned out not to be his. Police spoke to Mr. Craighead, who had difficulty formulating sentences, slurred his speech, and emitted an odor of alcohol from his breath. Police spoke to the female resident at this location, who stated that Mr. Craighead knocked on her door then argued that it was his home. Police took Mr. Craighead into custody for Public Intoxication and transported him to Hamilton County Jail.
1000 Spring Creek / Evading:
Police received a BOLO from Catoosa County for a vehicle which had evaded them. East Ridge Police located the vehicle which also fled from them. Police deactivated all emergency equipment, pulled off onto a side street, and allowed the suspect to safely flee the area. Police issued additional BOLO information to surrounding agencies.
6500 Ringgold Rd / Evading:
Police managed to locate the vehicle which had previously fled from East Ridge and Catoosa County. Police attempted a traffic stop a second time and the driver managed to make obscene hand gestures towards police and fled at a high rate of speed. Police deactivated emergency equipment, pulled onto a side street, and allowed the driver to safely flee the area. BOLO was issued to Catoosa County.
6708 Ringgold Road / Suspicious Person:
Police were called due to a vehicle sitting at the gas pumps for over an hour at this location. Police contacted Charles Thompson inside the vehicle. He stated that he had only been there for 15 minutes on a phone call. Thompson consented to a search of his vehicle. Inside the vehicle police located .7 grams of methamphetamine, nine small baggies, and a half-smoked marijuana blunt. Thompson was charged with possession of meth and drug paraphernalia and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
3400 Bennett Rd. / Auto Theft Recovery:
While on patrol, officers ran a tag on a vehicle traveling west on Bennett Rd. The vehicle returned stolen. Officers conducted a traffic stop at this location. Frank Pena and Keith Claywell were arrested for auto theft and narcotics.
