February 20– Day Shift
5913 Ringgold Road (warrant service):
Junior Reyes was arrested on an East Ridge alias capias/driving on revoked following a crash on the lot of the Family Dollar.
14 Lauren Lane (suspicious person):
Police were dispatched to a possible burglary in progress but officers did not locate any suspects in or near the vacant residence.
4214 Ringgold Road (warrant service):
Tucker Filter turned himself in at the police department on an active warrant. He was bonded out at the station.

February 20 – Night Shift
4401 Ringgold Rd (Deceptive Practice):
The staff at Mack’s Highway Market reported a white female cashed a fraudulent check at the business on February 12th. The staff provided a copy of the check and possible suspect information. The store owner will provide police with security video in the near future.
601 Walnut St (Warrant Service):
Tabitha Butler was served with an East Ridge warrant at the Hamilton County Jail. The warrant was for Failure to Appear on a drug possession charge.
6404 Ringgold Rd (Suspicious Activity):
The Burger King manager on duty requested assistance with a homeless party found sleeping in the main lobby. Police located Daniel L. sleeping in a booth and woke him up. Daniel agreed to leave the location and left on foot. The Burger King management did not wish to criminally trespass the man from the location.
6725 Ringgold Rd (susp. person):
Police were dispatched to this address regarding a female lying on the ground and screaming. Police were told by dispatch the female was behind Checkers Restaurant in the Food City parking lot. Police advised 6725 is the old Food City, and Food Lion is located behind the Checkers. Police checked both areas nothing located.
6802 Ringgold Rd Suite 101 (alarm):
Police were dispatched to this location regarding a front door alarm. Upon arrival, the front door was found to be ajar. Police cleared the business and the owner arrived on scene and secured the building.
3637 Ringgold Road (Suspicious Activity):
The manager of Family Dollar called to report a suspicious person. She advised a middle-aged white male party came into the store and caused issues. After being told to leave he got angry. The manager advised the party stated he would stab any East Ridge Officer if they came in contact with him, and he wanted to commit suicide by cop. The party is currently staying in an unknown room at the Cascades. The party was wearing a camo colored jacket and jeans.

February 21 – Day Shift
3818 Kingwood Circle- Auto Theft-
The caller advised an unknown white male suspect took her 2010 Nissan Sentra (TN DP84703). She advised the male goes by the name of “Mo.” A short time after the initial call the vehicle was spotted traveling south on John Ross Road. Officers attempted a traffic stop but the driver evaded police. Officers did not pursue. The vehicle was last observed traveling north on South Crest Drive. The vehicle has been entered in NCIC.
3657 Ringgold Road (Cascades Motel)- Warrant Service-
Sherry Cunningham was detained on Hamilton County warrants and transporter to 601.
1417 Saint Thomas Street (Motel 6)- Warrant Service-
Ashley Taylor was detained on Hamilton County warrants and transported to 601.
1417 Saint Thomas Street (Motel 6)- Possible Burglary-
On this date officers spoke with Charles B. in the lobby of the police department. Charles stated he had been staying at the Motel 6 with his mother from Tuesday, 2-18-20 to Thursday morning, 2-20-20. Charles told police someone had been pilfering stuff from his room while he was in the shower. He stated that there were no others in the room during his stay except his mother. Items he claims were missing are a jacket, some clothes and about 200 dollars cash. When asked why he waited until Friday to report the incident Charles said he wasn’t exactly sure. He then told police his sister worked for the FBI and could provide surveillance footage and that if we called the DEA, they could help see who it was also.
5700 Roper Street (New Castle Apartments)- Unknown Trouble-
Dispatch received a call from a female screaming into the phone advising she needed an ambulance. Upon arrival police located the woman at building P. She was actively having a seizure. Fire and EMS also responded and were able to stabilize the woman. Her dog was put in her apartment.
South Seminole Drive @ Hutcheson Street- Traffic Stop/Arrest-
Charles Hudson was arrested on multiple charges following a traffic stop at this location.
330 Cedar Glen Circle- House Fire-
Police responded with Fire to a house fire at this address. Fire was able to extinguish the blaze.

February 21– Night Shift
5707 Ringgold Road / Disorder:
Police responded to the Dollar General Store to investigate a disorder. A verbal altercation broke out between two adult black females and two Hispanic females. The confrontation moved to the checkout counter of the store involving the Store staff. Monique Crawford and Asia Crawford of Nashville, TN. were loud boisterous and disruptive, so Dollar General Store manager requested they be trespassed from the property. Both Crawfords were notified of being trespassed and departed the scene.
4214 Ringgold Road / Warrant Service:
Petition to Revoke: Possession of Marijuana (No Bond) warrant served on Breanna Brown (Coleman).
3326 Ringgold Road / Aggravated Robbery:
An unknown black male wearing a black hoodie with “Alabama” printed across the chest and a mask over his face, entered Mr. Speedy store. He propped open the doors with a wooden stick, pulled a silver compact semi-automatic pistol from his hoodie and demanded the money from the clerk. Once the money was handed to him, he took it and departed the store. He appeared to head westbound on foot towards the Coin Laundry where he visited prior to the robbery. No vehicle description available at the time of the incident.
3104 Bimini Pl/ warrant service:
Brandon Ferrel was taken into custody following a traffic stop at this location. Mr. Ferrel had an East Ridge warrant for Alias/Capis driving while revoked.
3603 Larry Ln/ Disorder:
Police were called to this location in reference to a disorder. Once on scene it was discovered Tonya Keith, assaulted her adult daughter. Ms. Keith was arrested for domestic assault.
1500 Tombras Ave / Narcotics:
Christopher Henley was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop at this location. Police located 4 grams of methamphetamine in separate packages inside of a bag of garbage in the vehicle. Henley was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
6401 Ringgold RD (DUI):
Jeffry Rogers was arrested on scene for DUI. Rogers was in the drive thru and told McDonald’s employees he was intoxicated. Rogers admitted to being intoxicated to police and failed a field sobriety tests.

February 22 – Day Shift
4222 Ringgold Road (Speedway)- Suspicious Person/DUI Arrest-
The caller advised of a male sleeping in a vehicle on the lot. Upon arrival police located the vehicle and attempted to wake the driver. The driver, Vincent Johnson was initially uncooperative with police and refused to speak with officers. Upon checking his information through dispatch, it was found his driver’s license was revoked he was also found to be under the influence of an intoxicant. He was taken into custody and charged accordingly.
183 Interstate 24 East- Spill-
Police were dispatched with Fire regarding a tractor trailer leaking oil. Upon arrival Fire was able to determine the spill was old and not oil from the tractor.
619 Camp Jordan Parkway (Buddy’s Bbq)- Unconscious Person-
The caller advised of a mid-20s female unconscious after a seizure. Police responded with Fire. The female regained consciousness prior to arrival. She was transported to the hospital.
4320 Bennett Road (East Ridge High School)- Child Abuse-
The caller advised her child’s father, William Lowrance struck her eleven-year-old daughter and left marks. Upon arrival it was found the alleged assault occurred in Chattanooga. CPD was contacted and responded to the school. Lowrance was found to have county warrants. He was detained by CPD and transported to 601.
1416 Mana Lane- Domestic Disorder-
Samira Benford called to advise she and her boyfriend were involved in an argument where she ended up locked out of their apartment. Upon arrival police determined the disorder was verbal only. Unfortunately, Benford had Red Bank warrants. She was transported to 601.
1028 South Seminole Drive- Animal Call-
Dispatch received a 911 from the homeowner regarding two dogs in his yard. Police responded and educated the caller in the proper use of 911. Animal control did not respond as non-dangerous dogs running at large does not meet their criteria for call out.
4214 Ringgold Rd-
On this date ERPD was notified that a Glock 17, 9mm, was located and recovered in Forsyth County, GA, serial #BAYC648. The firearm was taken during a burglary 7-3-2018 from #66 3725 Fountain Ave., Fountain Garden Apartments. The gun is currently in the possession of the Forsyth County Sheriff Office in GA. It was found along the roadside, possibly involved in an earlier pursuit

February 22 – Night Shift
5301 Ringgold Road / Disorder:
Pharmacy employees called in stating a black male with a cast on his arm was banging on the pharmacy window and screaming. Police arrived to find that the male had just left the hospital with a broken arm and was in extreme pain. He stated that he felt that the pharmacist was taking too long filling his pain medicine prescription. The male apologized and was sent on his way.
Moss Street @ Shallowford Road:
Chattanooga Gang Units requested assistance with a stop involving four males. Upon arrival ERPD officers assisted in keeping parties who live in the area from interfering with the officers investigating the stop.
3222 Gleason Dr / DUI:
Terrence Jones was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop at this location.
6500 Ringgold Rd / Warrant:
Curtis Morgan was taken into custody for felony warrants out of Hamilton County Following a traffic stop at this location.
4300 Ringgold Rd / DUI:
Savanah McDowell was arrested for DUI 2nd following a traffic stop at this location.

February 23 – Day Shift
3725 Fountain Avenue #88 (The Belvoir)- AOA Warrant Service/Possession Schedule I/Possession Drug paraphernalia-
Police executed a Hamilton County arrest warrant on Zachariah Crawford at 3725 Fountain Ave. Apt. 88. Once contact was made with Crawford he was detained. A search of his person found him to be in possession of a syringe and less than one gram of suspected heroin in a clear bag in his right front pocket. Crawford was transported to the Hamilton County Jail charged with possession of schedule I and possession of drug paraphernalia.
6401 Ringgold Road (McDonald’s)- Unconscious Person-
The caller advised of a male in the dining room unresponsive. Upon arrival police were able to wake the male. He had fallen asleep.
1410 Mack Smith Road (Budgetel)- Theft-
The caller advised someone stole his medication and wished to file a report. Upon arrival it was determined the theft occurred in the state of Georgia.
3638 Phelps Street- House Fire-
Police responded with Fire to a house fire at this address. Fire was able to extinguish the blaze.
323 Camp Jordan Parkway (Camp Jordan Arena)- Disorder-
The caller advised of a disorder between a coach and a parent at the arena. Upon police arrival both parties were gone.

6100 Wellworth Ave. / Arrest:
John Doe, Hispanic/Male, AKA: Cesar Domingo was arrested following a traffic stop. Vehicle was towed to Broom’s.
601 Walnut Street/Arrest-Warrant:
David L. Williams was arrested on two warrants for Criminal Simulation.
5900 Stateline Rd / Disorder:
Police were dispatched to an active disorder at this location. Upon arrival it was determined to be on the Catoosa side of the road. Police stayed with the victim to ensure her safety until Catoosa County arrived. The suspect was gone prior to police arrival.
Rhea County Sheriff’s Office/Warrant-Hold:
A hold was faxed to Rhea County Sheriff’s Office for Derik A. Brown. A Capias warrant for Theft of Property was found with no bond.
601 Walnut Street/Arrest-Warrant:
Kadeem K. Pratt was arrested on a Capias warrant for Driving on Suspended.
6514 Ringgold Rd. / Warrant:
Albert Dawson was taken into custody for Hamilton County warrants following a consensual encounter at this location.
I-24 @184 / Assist:
East Ridge Police assisted Chattanooga Police with a fatal crash at this location.
S Seminole & S Clayton/ Shots fired:
Police responded to this area due to several calls of hearing gunshots around 0028 hours. Police checked the area but did not locate anything.
