The following information was provided by the East Ridge Police Department from its “pass along” reports.
February 13– Day Shift
Police were approached by a resident requesting and extra patrol in the area of East Ridge Drive. He advised of a possible intoxicated driver in the area during the nighttime hours. The vehicle is possibly a blue pickup with chrome wheels. The driver has been throwing several beer cans into yards as he drives through the neighborhood.
5611 Ringgold Road (Easy Auto)- landslide/Gas Leak-
Police and Fire were dispatched to the business due to a retaining wall giving way and collapsing on a gas meter and some vehicles parked in the lot. Upon arrival Ringgold Road was shut down and surrounding businesses and houses were evacuated. Chattanooga Gas Company responded and turned off the gas.
1309 Altamaha Street- Vehicle Burglary-
Upon arrival police spoke to the complainant. He advised he parked his 2014 Chevy Impala in his driveway around 1830 hours yesterday and around 0530 hours this morning he noticed his vehicle doors and trunk lid were open. The victim stated he noticed his wallet and two black hoodies were missing from the vehicle. The victim stated the wallet was a black Levi wallet and it contained his Sun Trust banking information, Social Security card, Amazon Credit Card, and health insurance card. The unknown suspect entered the vehicle through unlocked doors.

Ebony Russell was served East Ridge warrant number 131095 at 601.
3725 Fountain Avenue (The Belvoir)- Vehicle Burglary-
The caller advised sometime over the night an unknown suspect entered her vehicle.
1515 Tombras Avenue (Pioneer Park)- Disorder-
The caller advised of several juveniles involved in a disorder in the area. Upon police arrival the crowd of children had already dispersed and left the area.

February 13 – Night Shift
1509 Castleberry Ave. / Vandalism:
The complainant called police to report that someone shot through her windows. A window to the bedroom at the front of the house had a hole in the outer pane. The hole apparently caused by pellets fired from an Air Rifle. She showed police the window to a bedroom in the rear of the house that had two similar holes in the outer pane. She stated that it occurred a month ago to that window. The complainant didn’t have any suspect information at the time of the report.
941 Spring Creek Rd (Parkridge East hospital)/ Mental status change:
Police were called to the hospital in reference to a male subject being assaulted and shot in the back of the head. Upon arrival it was discovered that he was seeing people, that were not in the room and was not shot or assaulted. Hospital staff made the decision to keep him for a mental evaluation. No further action taken.
4300 Ringgold Road / Arrest:
Perry Kearse was arrested for possession of marijuana following a traffic stop in which 12.5 grams of marijuana was located inside his vehicle.
1100 S. Moore Road/Arrest-DUI:
Antwon D. Spivey was arrested for DUI after a traffic stop for speeding.
6674 Ringgold Rd. / Aggravated Assault:
Soloman Pierce Jr. was arrested for Aggravated Assault after he struck the victim in the head with a rock. The victim was transported to Erlanger Hospital with non life-threatening injuries. However, he did sustain a large cut across his forehead. Pierce was transported to Parkridge East Hospital due to his hypertensive state and possibility of excited delirium.
115 Bales Ave. / Disorder:
Lesley Layne was arrested for criminal trespass after officers were called to the address for a disorder.
201 Eads St Apt#536/ Theft:
Police were called to this location, in reference to a theft. Upon arrival police spoke to the complaint, who is a female juvenile 17 years of age. She stated she was home alone and did not lock the front door before she went to sleep. The juvenile stated, when she woke up, her brother’s Xbox and safe were missing. Police spoke to the juvenile’s mother by cell phone. The mother told police to get out of her apartment and they do not want to make a police report because no crime has been committed.

February 14 – Day Shift
7102 Tanager Circle (AOA):
CPD requested police check this address after cellphones belonging to a possible kidnapping victim and suspect pinged at this location. Police made contact with juveniles at the address and cleared the residence. An adult resident arrived home and stated he did not know the victim or suspect. CPD later advised the suspect’s vehicle was located in Chattanooga. They also stated the spoke with the victim by phone, but she would not give her location.
400 S. Moore Road (auto burglary):
An employee of Allstate Insurance, reported that an unknown suspect broke into her locked Ford Explorer by punching out the lock on the front passenger side door. Nothing was taken. Report on file.
4400 Bennett Rd (aggravated sexual battery):
Police responded to ERMS to speak with a student regarding a sexual assault alleged to have occurred on 2/9/20 at a residence in East Ridge. Juvenile 1 stated her father attempted to molest her. CPS was contacted.

February 14– Night Shift
941 Spring Creek Road (Back Other Agency):
CPD requested we check Parkridge East Hospital for a female kidnapping victim. The kidnapping occurred in Chattanooga. Contact was made with the victim. She advised she was driven to 7010 Moreview Road after initially being taken in Chattanooga. She advised she escaped from the vehicle, but then hurt herself trying to run to a neighbor’s house. The suspect chased after the victim. The victim advised the suspect drove her to the gas station across the street from Parkridge East Hospital where they met a friend of his. The suspect’s friend drove the victim to the hospital. Warrants are pending for the suspect for False Imprisonment and Aggravated Assault. CPD was notified and responded to the scene to further their investigation regarding the initial kidnapping.
7010 Moreview Rd (SIA):
ERPD checked this address (and other duplexes around the area) multiple times for a man who is a kidnapping suspect out of Chattanooga.
3936 Ringgold Rd. (Theft):
Police were dispatched to the Sav-A-Lot, regarding a customer’s wallet being stolen. Upon arrival, police made contact with the victim. The victim believes she dropped her wallet while she was loading her groceries into her car. The wallet was not recovered.
Germantown Rd. @ Fountain Ave. (Susp. Person):
Police were dispatched to this location regarding a male subject walking in the middle of the road. The subject was GOA upon police arrival.
323 Camp Jordan Pkwy. (ChkHzrd):
Police were dispatched to Camp Jordan regarding several vehicles going past the traffic barrier. Upon arrival, the gate to Jordan was closed on the Bass Pro side. The other entrance to Camp Jordan was open and safe to travel.
518 S. Seminole Dr. (Alarm):
Police were dispatched to this location regarding a front door motion alarm. Upon police arrival, it was discovered the front door was open a few inches. While police were checking around the outside of the home, the homeowner arrived, and police cleared the home. It appears the door wasn’t properly secured when the resident went to work.
3708 Fountain Ave. (Susp. Vehicle):
Police were dispatched to this area regarding a suspicious vehicle driving up and down the street with its headlights on. Police made contact with the party who advised he was looking for a friend’s house. The party did find his party.
4338 Ringgold Rd. (Alarm):
Police were dispatched to the Food Lion, regarding a front door alarm. Police checked the doors, everything appeared secured. Police were also notified this alarm activation has been a recurring event. Food Lion had new motion sensors installed.
605 Belvoir Ave. (Arrest):
Carlos Rodriguez was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop at this location.

February 15 – Day Shift
5313 State Line Road (warrant service):
Police located Louis Pineda at this location and took him into custody on two warrants for criminal simulation. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
1910 Bowen Road (criminal trespass):
Matthew Wininger was issued a criminal trespass warning from this residence after he was observed walking through the yard and trying the door knob on the garage.
5402 Clemons Road (residential burglary):
The complainant stated someone burglarized his unoccupied residence sometime over the last two weeks. Entry was forced through a back door, and a washer and dryer were stolen along with security cameras. Trash was located inside the home possibly from squatters.

3500 Ringgold Road (Traffic Stop/Arrest):
Jorge Hernandez was arrested for driving while revoked for DUI following a traffic stop.

Sean Ward arrested on East Ridge Warrant for driving on suspended.

Lastarsha Wasson arrested on East Ridge Warrant for agg. Burglary and agg. Assault.

February 16 – Day Shift
623 Camp Jordan Parkway (theft):
The complainant reported that his trailer was stolen from the parking lot of the Hampton Inn. The gray and black enclosed aluminum cargo trailer also contained two dirt bikes. The trailer and bikes were entered into NCIC.
4214 Ringgold Road (warrant service):
David Cosby was arrested on a Petition to Revoke (poss. Of controlled substance) while at Hamilton County Jail.
4150 Monroe Street (delayed theft):
Walmart loss prevention reported that on 2/15/20 at 0800 hours two black females were observed on camera at the self-checkout failing to scan certain items during the transaction. They were seen leaving the parking lot in a white four door sedan, possibly an Oldsmobile or Buick. Total loss was $73.60.
3220 Gleason Drive Apt. 65 (auto theft):
The complainant stated her car, a 2016 Ford Fusion, was stolen late yesterday. It was later reported the car was involved in a crash in Chattanooga where the driver fled the scene on foot. The complainant insists she wasn’t the driver.

February 16 – Night Shift
4000 Ringgold Rd (arrest):
John Doe arrested for no license, financial responsibility and improper display following a traffic stop.
802 Mchann Dr (Noise):
RP called in stating dogs were barking at this address all night. Police sat 10 feet from the dogs and they did not make a noise.
4131Ringgold Rd. (crash):
There was a two-vehicle crash at this location, the driver of one vehicle, a 17-year-old male, left the scene. The juvenile’s mother brought him back to the police department about an hour later.
