Needy Child Fund Calling for Gift Wrappers

Officials with the East Ridge Needy Child Fund are asking for help in wrapping Christmas presents.

Gail Phillips, a principal with the NCF, said in an email that the organization is asking for volunteers to meet at the old McBrien School behind City Hall where the wrapping will take place. The gifts to be wrapped will be given to less fortunate families during the NCF’s Christmas Party later this month.

Wrapping times are Saturday, Dec. 14 from noon until 6 p.m. During the following week, wrapping will be done daily, except for Tuesday, from noon until 6 p.m.
