The following information was compiled from East Ridge Police Department “pass along” reports.
October 03– Day Shift
400 Lynncrest Dr (Auto Burglary):
The complainant advised his wife noticed four white males that had been rifling through his work truck a 2018 Chevy Equinox. The complainant advised nothing appeared to have been taken from within said vehicle. The suspects were driving two SUV style vehicles one possibly white and the other blueish in color.
4338 Ringgold Rd (Domestic Assault):
A woman said she was assaulted by her ex-boyfriend, Amine Goubil, after she told him she was leaving. He grabbed her hair and struck her in the back of the neck then proceeded to kick her out of his vehicle in front of Pizza Hut. A warrant for domestic assault will be sought.
1058 Wynwood Rd:
The complainant reported that his vehicle was stolen overnight. Using On Star location services, the vehicle was located by Chattanooga Police at 2109 Camden Oaks Dr.
116 Arnold Dr:
Two vehicles were entered overnight at this residence. $600, and a vehicle title were stolen.
5 Arnold Dr:
Vehicle was entered overnight. The stolen property was located a few houses down and returned to the owner.
10 Ridgeside Rd:
Two vehicles were entered overnight at this residence. A rubber snake used to deter potential thieves was taken from one of the vehicles and later located in the stolen vehicle from Wynnwood Rd.
7 N Lynncrest Dr:
The caller reported that her fifteen year old daughter and two younger children that she was babysitting were approached by a male party in a red Mustang who they believed were attempting to lure the children into the car. She is requesting extra patrol.
116 Arnold Dr:
While investigating a vehicle burglary at this location, police located military fatigues/gear that is believed to have been stolen and discarded. The items were collected and will be placed into property and evidence.

October 03 – Night Shift
1404 S. Moore Rd. (House Fire):
Police were dispatched to this location regarding a residential fire. Upon police arrival, the house was fully engulfed with flames and smoke. Officer Boyd was able to assist a male party out of the backdoor. Officer Beadle was able to rescue another resident from the home by pulling the male through the front window. Officer Jansen and Dyer arrived on scene and quickly cleared the property for further people inside. ER Fire arrived and quickly put the fire out. Cause of fire is unknown at this time.
6708 Ringgold Rd (Theft from vehicle):
The complainant reported that when he went inside of the Circle K to pay for gas, an unknown male entered his vehicle and stole his Ruger 9mm and Apple iPhone 6. Suspect was last seen headed towards Motel 6.
1500 Mcbrien Rd (DUI):
Adam Chism was arrest for DUI, possession of a handgun while under the influence and implied consent following a traffic stop at this location for speeding.
1417 ST Thomas St (Suspicious Activity):
The victim of a theft from vehicle reported that his iPhone was pinging at the Motel 6 in East Ridge. Police went to the location and observed a woman throwing away an empty leather wallet outside her motel room. Police found that the wallet was related to the theft of the iPhone. Police were given consent to search the woman’s room but did not locate the iPhone or any other stolen property. The investigating officer is awaiting video of the original theft before pursuing charges against the woman.
1417 ST Thomas St (Warrant Service):
During a suspicious activity complaint, Elizabeth Hill was arrested on a Petition to Revoke Probation arrest warrant. Hill was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
1211 San Hsi Dr (Property):
The resident teported that a 380 ACP Ruger pistol was missing from her residence. The resident did not know when the weapon went missing and did not have the serial number. The weapon will be placed in NCIC when the serial number is determined.
813 Belvoir Hills Dr (Auto Recovery):
CPD recovered a stolen 2018 Subaru Forrester in the Brainerd area. The owner took possession of the vehicle and the vehicle was removed from NCIC.

October 04 – Day Shift
AOA Warrant Service-
Ethan Millraney was detained on Hamilton County warrants following a traffic stop. He was transported to 601 Walnut St.
6501 Slater Road (Antique Store)-
Suspicious Person- The caller advised of a white male sitting on a bench in front of the business. Upon arrival the male was asked to move along per the caller’s request.

October 04– Night Shift
4214 Ringgold Rd. / Recovery:
Chattanooga Police recovered a registration plate which was stolen from East Ridge. The tag was removed from NCIC and the owner was notified the tag would be held at the Chattanooga Police Department if they wished to claim it.
317 Tanager Cir. / Animal Call:
Police assisted the residents of this location in removing a racoon which had made his way into their house.
941 Spring Creek Rd. / Mental Health:
Police responded to Parkridge East Hospital in reference to a psychotic emergency. Police made contact with ER staff who advised the patient in question was suffering a psychotic break and was on a CON. The patient continuously attempted to flee from the hospital police stood by while hospital staff delivered medication to sedate the patient. The patient became physically violent with hospital staff and police, police used the X-26P Taser to gain compliance of the patient. After which the Hamilton County Deputy who was working at the hospital arrived and advised he would sit with the patient until the medication took effect.
4214 Ringgold Road / Warrant Service:
Served an FTA warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia on Blake Roark from 2015.
3712 Fountain Avenue / Vehicle Fire:
Police arrived on scene and made contact with a woman who was throwing water on the side of her vehicle. It appeared that the side of the vehicle by the gas tank had been on fire, and the rear tire was slashed. Once the fire department arrived on scene the fuel door was opened which revealed an unknown material that was stuffed inside that could have possibly been what started the fire. The woman advised that she did not know who could have possibly intentionally damaged her vehicle. The fire department is conducting an arson investigation.

October 05 – Day Shift
1236 John Ross Road-
Domestic Disorder/Arrest- Upon arrival officers observed a white male and female arguing in the front yard of the residence. Upon approaching them the female fled inside and the male spoke with police. He advised he and his girlfriend, Crystal Renshaw had been in an argument and she assaulted him. Upon investigation Renshaw was found to be the aggressor. She was arrested and charged with domestic assault.
6114 North Mack Smith Road (Construction Site)-
Theft- The caller advised sometime during the night an unknown suspect took a battery and some gasoline from construction equipment on the site. It is unknown if anything else is missing.
5707 Ringgold Road (Dollar General)-
Suspicious Vehicle/AOA warrant Service- Police encountered Fred Sanders in the lot of the business. He was found to have an extraditable warrant through Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. He was transported to 601.

October 05 – Night Shift
3609 Gleason Drive / Domestic Assault:
A woman advised that Stephen Davis knocked her glasses of her head and threatened to cut her throat. The woman wrote and signed a victim statement. Police met with the woman at a neighbor’s house, and then officers relocated to 3609 Gleason to take Davis into custody. Davis was arrested for Domestic Assault and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident. Police attempted to serve conditions but were not able to make contact with the woman.
7010 Moreview Rd. / Traffic Arrest:
Police conducted a traffic stop at this location on Kimberly Vanhorn for a registration violation. During this encounter Vanhorn was taken into custody for resisting and driving on revoked, her juvenile daughter was taken into custody for assault on police, and an unknown male party was taken into custody for resisting stop halt frisk and booked under John Doe.
1109 Mcbrien Rd (possible robbery from person):
A male party called in stating that he was robbed at gunpoint by two male parties. Upon speaking to the male, it was determined that this occurred several hours earlier at a location in Chattanooga.

October 06 – Day Shift
915 South Seminole Drive (Ridge Terrace Apartments)-
Theft- The caller advised sometime during the night an unknown suspect removed three of the four wheels and tires from his Chevy HHR and left the vehicle sitting on blocks. There is no video surveillance in the area of the theft.
4222 Ringgold Road (Speedway)-
Theft- A driver with East Ridge Cab Company called to advise a customer ran off without paying. He advised the black male suspect; Isaiah Pittman was picked up from the Walker County jail and transported to Speedway where he exited the cab and ran east out of the lot. Police were able to locate an address for Pittman at 4321 Esterbrook Drive. The residence was checked but he was not located. Warrants will be sought.
4300 blk of Dupont Street-
Suspicious Person- The anonymous caller advised of two males on bicycles riding east bound in the area. He advised dispatch the two had backpacks and flashlights. Officers checked the area but didn’t locate anyone.
6650 Ringgold Road (La Quinta Inn)-
Auto Theft- The caller advised sometime during the night their vehicle was stolen from the parking lot. It was entered in NCIC.
The owners called back a short time later and advised they were able to track a cell phone that was left in the vehicle. It was tracked to a location in Tiftonia, somewhere close to Kelly’s Ferry Road. CPD officers responded and checked the area but didn’t locate the vehicle.
728 Frawley Road (Park Ridge Apartments)-
Theft- Upon arrival police spoke to Maintenance Supervisor. He advised when he arrived for work today, he emptied the payment drop box and noticed some tape inside. The supervisor said he then reviewed the camera footage and noticed at approximately 2142 hours (10/5/2019), a light skinned male with a goatee, wearing an “LA” flex fit hat and a light-colored hoodie walk up to the drop box and use a flat tool with tape to retrieve checks from inside. At approximately 2144 hours, the suspect walked off screen and possibly leaves the area in a newer model Dodge Ram pickup. The tape and the check were taken into custody and placed into property as evidence. The supervisor advised his superior will burn a copy of the security footage on Monday.
623 Camp Jordan Parkway (Hampton Inn)-
Vehicle Burglary- Upon arrival police spoke to a male subject. He advised he parked his vehicle last night around 2300 hours and this morning around 1100 hours, he noticed his vehicle had been broken into. He stated his vehicle was locked but it appeared the suspect used a tool to enter the vehicle. He stated his black wallet was missing which contained $217.00 in cash, his driver’s license, bank card, and his high school ID. CID was not called due to the victim contaminating the scene by entering and touching the vehicle as well as driving the vehicle to another location for several hours

Thomas Moore was served an East Ridge warrant #126729 at 601.

October 06 – Night Shift
4104 Ringgold Rd. (Suspicious Activity):
Police were called to this location regarding a suspicious vehicle. Upon making contact with the occupants and finally determining their true identities, Amanda Woodward was found to have active Hamilton County Warrants. A search incident to arrest also yielded 1.05 ounces of methamphetamine, 0.9 grams of suspected MDMA, 1.9 grams of marijuana, and a single Xanax bar. Woodward was charged accordingly, all information was forwarded to the East Ridge Crime Suppression Unit.
1023 S. Seminole Drive/Domestic Assault:
Units were sent for two sisters in a physical fight over money. Laci L. Daniel was arrested for Domestic Assault.
5800 Ringgold Road/Arrest-Traffic:
Terrance Riley was arrested for Driving While License Revoked following a traffic stop.
430 Camp Jordan Pkwy/Suspicious Activity:
Police saw a Ford Sedan traveling down the walking track from the Camping lot to the walking bridge. Police conducted a traffic stop to investigate. Police ran both occupants in the vehicle but no warrants were outstanding. The passenger offered consent to search the vehicle but Police were unable to locate anything. FIs conducted.
