The following information was compiled from East Ridge Police Department “pass along” reports.
Sept. 17 Day Shift
4201 East Stump Street:
Alarm- Police responded to the residence and found the alarm to be accidental.
3713 Ringgold Road (Subway):
Alarm- Police responded to the business and found the alarm to be accidental.
1417 Saint Thomas Street (Motel 6):
Stolen Tag Recovery- While on patrol police observed a green Honda Accord on the parking lot. A registration check showed the tag had been reported stolen from an address on Burns Ave on 09/15/2019. Police contacted Johnny Robinson in room 219. Robinson was observed on video surveillance parking the vehicle on the previous evening. A VIN verification was conducted on the Honda revealing it was registered to Robinson’s father. The tag was removed from the vehicle and NCIC. No prosecution of Robinson for being in possession of the tag will be sought at this time. However, Robinson was found to have Hamilton County warrants and was transported to 601.
1417 Saint Thomas Street (Motel 6):
AOA Warrant Service- While investigating the stolen tag officers stumbled upon Nicholas McCorkle (aka Kidwell). He was found to have Hamilton County warrants and was transported to 601.
950 Spring Creek Road (Spring Creek Gardens):
Suicidal Threats- Upon arrival police contacted a female subject. Upon speaking with her she advised she was depressed and didn’t wish to live any longer. She advised she wished to get assistance for her current mental state. She was then transported to Parkridge East for further assistance.
4222 Ringgold Road (Speedway):
Theft- Once again police were dispatched regarding school children shoplifting. Upon arrival police spoke to the manager. He advised a juvenile female was seen stealing candy and placing it in her pink backpack. The manager could not state what candy or how much was taken. He stated he would gather camera footage of the incident and give police a call when its ready to be picked up.
4006 Bennett Road- AOA:
The White County Georgia Sheriff’s office requested police check this residence for a runaway juvenile from their jurisdiction. Officers responded and located two runaway juveniles. The missing juvenile from Georgia was transported to JDU. The other was handed over to parents.
1400 Boyd Street:
AOA Arrest- While on scene assisting city codes and animal control, officers encountered Charles Walls. He was found to have a Red Bank warrant. He was transported to 601.
5345 Reneau Way:
Distress Alarm- Police responded to the residence and found it secure. There were no sounds of distress.
1516 Springvale Road:
Suspicious Activity- Police were requested regarding an open rear window of this vacant residence. Upon arrival no one was located but officers did observe what appeared to be items left by squatters around the property.
Warrant Service:
Douglas Daugherty was taken into custody on outstanding warrants while at East Ridge City Court. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
1911 Bowen Road:
Burglary- Upon arrival police spoke with the complainant/victim. He advised sometime between 09/13/2019 and 1700 hrs on this date, an unknown subject removed Echo 500 BC backpack blower from the storage shed at this location. The victim advised he did not have the serial number for the item but would contact police after he located it.

Night Shift
730 Germantown Circle / Suicide Threats:
Police responded to Germantown Garden Apts to locate a man whose girlfriend stated he made suicidal threats. Police conducted a search around the complex and located him sitting in her car. He denied making suicidal threats and show no further indication that he wanted to harm himself. Police had dealt with the same couple earlier in the day at the AMC theatre.
4214 Ringgold Road / Warrant Service:
East Ridge warrant #129974 was served on Nicholas Davis. Davis was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
1600 Prater Rd / Narcotics:
Kayla Lamm was issued a citation for possession of marijuana then transported to Hamilton County Jail for an active Walker County warrant following a traffic stop at this location.
