September 12– Day Shift
201 Eads St Apt #134:
Aggravated Burglary – The resident reported that sometime between 09/09/19 and 09/12/19, unknown party(s) accessed her hidden door key to her apartment and pilfered several tv’s, electronics and multiple bottles of wine. The resident may call later to add some more items to the report.
3900 Ringgold Rd:
Consensual Encounter/Cite for Possession of Meth – Police made consensual contact with Melissa Hinkley as she was walking westbound near this location. While speaking with the party she admitted to having meth in her backpack. Police located .46 grams of suspected meth in the cap of dry shampoo spray can. Ms. Hinkley was issued a misdemeanor citation and released. The .46 grams of suspected meth was placed into East Ridge Property and Evidence.
6700 Ringgold Rd:
Lost Property – A man called from Indiana to report that he may have left his S&W 40 cal handgun (model SD40VE) in the room after his stay at the hotel in June of this year. The firearm was stainless steel in color with a black handle and had a leather paddle holster. The man stated this location was the last place he remembered seeing the weapon. The man could not provide a serial number for the weapon but stated he would find it and relay the information to police, so the weapon could be added into NCIC.
6215 Dayton Blvd:
Warrant Service – William Zimmerman was taken into custody at the Hamilton County Community Corrections Center for an East Ridge warrant for a probation capias for petition to revoke for DUI. He was transported to 601 Walnut St and served.

September 12 – Night Shift
3635 Ringgold Road (Family Dollar)/ Theft:
Police investigated a shoplifting complaint at the Family Dollar Store. A Male entered the store at 21:22 followed by a Female. Both posed as shoppers but when the female went to the check out counter, she distracted the clerk allowing the male to exit the store without paying for the shopping cart filled with merchandise. Total loss estimate at $150.
3117 Ellis Ave/Shots Fired:
Reporting party reported hearing 5 shots ring out in vicinity of Seminole Pathe Apartments/ South Seminole Road. CPD Charlie Channel received same report from Sioux Trail. Police checked the area but was unable to locate anything.
3509 Ringgold Rd. / Public Intoxication:
Charles Shaw was taken into custody for public intoxication at this location after flagging down police for a reason which is still unknown to police. Shaw was subsequently charged with retaliation for past actions after he stated to police he works at East Ridge Car Wash and was going to make sure the police cars that get serviced there would have cut brake lines.
323 Camp Jordan Parkway/Vehicle Burglary:
Between 1905 and 1930 hours, someone busted out the window and took a purse from the back passenger floorboard of a 2016 Kia Sorento parked on the lot between the ball fields and duck pond. No leads to follow up on.

September 13 – Day Shift
6404 Ringgold Road (fraudulent use of debit card):
A woman forgot her card at Burger King 09/11 and temporarily left it with the cashier for a very short amount of time before retrieving it. The following day her card’s information was used to purchase pizza in East Ridge. The woman suspects the Burger King employee.
730 Germantown Circle (Theft):
A resident reported her rent check was stolen out of the drop box at the Germantown Garden Apartments sometime between 8/31/19 and 9/6/19. There is currently no suspect information.
3936 Ringgold Road (Theft from Vehicle):
A man reported that while he was shopping inside Save A Lot an unknown suspect made entry into his locked 2003 Chevy Silverado via an open window and stole his prescription of Morphine 30mg (60 count), a Firestorm flashlight, two wrenches, and a pack of water and drink mix. No suspect information.
3657 Ringgold Road (Warrant Service):
Police assisted Hamilton County by taking Gary Mitchell into custody after receiving a tip he was staying in Room 48 at The Cascades. Gary Mitchell was on Hamilton County’s top twelve most wanted. Mitchell was transported to 601 by Hamilton County.
6104 N. Mack Smith Road (fire):
Police responded with Fire after a light fixture caught fire in a patient’s room at the dialysis clinic.
6504 Ringgold Road (child safety):
Police were dispatched to the Subway regarding an abandoned child. Upon arrival the child was found to belong to a construction worker who was working at the 4 A’s. CPS was notified of the situation.
Prigmore Road at Greenbriar (mental health consumption):
Police responded to the area concerning a female walking around screaming and hitting herself in the head. Police made contact with the woman who was observed striking herself and to have self-inflicted injuries on her arms. She was transported by police to Joe Johnson’s.

September 13– Night Shift
600 Shady Drive (Suspicious Vehicle):
A passerby reported seeing a white male, passed out in the driver’s seat of a green pick-up truck in the roadway. On scene, police located a sober, white male sitting in a marked EPB Contractor vehicle. An EPB crew was also working near the location.
604 Bacon Trail #4 (unruly juvenile):
Police were dispatched to this location regarding a 12-year-old female who was arguing with her mother. The mother stated that she has told her daughter to help clean up around the home, but the daughter was refusing. Police instructed the daughter that chores are a part of life and if her mother tells her to clean her room then that is what needs to be done.
5301 Ringgold Rd (Theft):
Two unknown males distracted the cashier and activated two Visa gift cards in the amount of $1,027.71 then left without paying.
4134 Ringgold Rd (DUI):
Aleisha Lynn was arrested for DUI after a consensual contact was made after she pulled into the parking lot of Jenkins Buffet after they were closed.

September 14 – Day Shift
6708 Ringgold Road (Theft):
The store manager, reported that ex-employee Noah O’Harra stole money from the store safe. At this time approximately $600 is known to be gone. A warrant for theft is being sought against Noah O’Harra.
5313 Greenbriar Road (Theft):
The resident reported the overnight theft of his weed eater from his backyard. According to the resident’s CCTV footage a white male took the item around 1:30 a.m. today. The resident will be making a copy of the video for police.
5329 Greenbriar Road (Burglary):
The resident stated an unknown suspect broke into his storage building last night and stole a backpack blower, cordless drill with charger and batteries, and a nail gun.
5303 Greenbriar Road (Burglary):
The resident reported the entry of a storage building in the backyard. At this time nothing is thought to be missing.

September 14 – Night Shift
115 Fawn Dr- Susp:
RP called in stating a black SUV parked across the street from their house and turned off the lights. Vehicle was GOA upon arrival.
4214 Ringgold Road:
Warrant Service- Mitchell Culpepper arrested on multiple ERPD warrants.
3613 Fountain Ave:
Rene Barzaga sent threating text messages and pictures of him holding a machete to his soon to be ex-wife. Rene told her that he was going to kill her and her family. Warrants have been sought.
3725 Fountain Ave Apt 88 (Burglary):
The resident returned to his apartment to find the front door had been pried open and $100 missing from a filing cabinet.
4100 Ringgold Rd (DUI):
Ryan Baughman was arrested for driving under the influence following a traffic stop at this location.
Wimberly Ln/McHann Dr (Suspicious Activity):
Reporting party stated that a black SUV went into the ditch at the intersection and several individuals were outside the vehicle. Police responded to the location and found impressions in the ditch where a vehicle drove into it. No vehicle or responsible parties were found in the area. No vehicle debris was found at the location.
6200 Ringgold Road/D.U.I.:
Ricky Holmes was arrested after occupants of the Taco Bell drive thru observed Mr. Holmes asleep behind the wheel in the drive thru.
Ringgold Rd @ Spring Creek (theft):
Calvin Hanks was taken into custody for Theft over $2500.00, Open Container, Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia, Driving On Revoked, and public intoxication, after police saw a grey Honda civic sitting over the curb.

September 15 – Day Shift
601 Walnut Street (warrant service):
Mark S. Brady was arrested at the Hamilton County Jail on an East Ridge Alias/Capias for driving without a license.
1542 Burns Avenue (theft):
The resident reported the theft of TN tag 1G44P0 from one of her vehicles. The tag was stolen between 09/08/19 and 09/15/19 while her vehicle was parked at her house. No suspect information is available, and the tag was entered into NCIC.
6650 Ringgold Road (mental health):
Police responded to the La Quinta Inn in reference to a suspected stroke call involving an elderly mental health consumer from Florida. Police made contact witha male subject from Florida who was transported to Memorial Hospital by ambulance. His family was advised of his location.

September 15 – Night Shift
4150 Monroe St:
domestic assault- Warrants were taken out against Wayne Slaughter for domestic assault, evading and disorderly conduct after he hit is girlfriend in the face walking into Walmart.
4214 Ringgold Rd. (mental health consumer):
A male subject was transported to Park Ridge East for a mental health evaluation. He had come to the PD again stating that he is hearing voices and that people are out to get him. He stated that there were 2 black males in his car at that moment who were also trying to get him. He did advise that he “done meth” over a week ago. He had recently been evicted from the Budgetel Inn due to him saying he was hearing voices and that people are walking in the ceiling of his room. While waiting to be seen by an officer at the PD, he went around to the Fire Dept side and began banging on their locked door and yelling. He was placed into protective custody and transported to Park Ridge East for evaluation.
604 Bacon Trail, Apt 2 (Hit and Run):
A motorist reported that he was involved in a hit and run in the 3600 block of Ringgold Rd. The motorist reported that a gray sedan struck the right front corner of the Honda Civic that he was driving, and continued eastbound on Ringgold Rd after the incident.
1000 S Seminole Dr/ Traffic Stop Arrest:
Collin Pennington was issued a misdemeanor citation for possession of a stolen tag. The passenger David Black was arrested for Drugs for Resale after being in possession of 6 boxes of 87-93% THC vape pen cartridges.
