August 7 Day Shift
730 Germantown Circle Apartment 615:
Complainant stated an unknown suspect climbed onto his balcony and stole his wife’s 24” Huffy Cranbrook, cruiser style bicycle. He stated the last time he saw it was on Monday the 5th around 1800 hrs. No suspect information is available.
1421 Choate Road:
The owner of Chattanooga Electrical Pro’s, reported the overnight theft of TN plate CP16876 from his 2012 Ford E250 work van. The plate was entered into NCIC.
4145 Ringgold Road Apartment 130:
Police arrived at this location in reference to a kitchen fire. It was determined a skillet had been left on a hot stove eye.

Dunlap Avenue / Westonia Drive:
Reporting party stated that a black female with an orange shirt was seen stumbling down the road. Police looked through the area but did not locate the individual.
1500 Prigmore Road:
Michael Hewitt was arrested on Catoosa County Warrants following a traffic stop at this location.

August 8 Day Shift
6018 A Graston Avenue:
Police responded to this residence regarding a disorder with a weapon. A man and his ex-wife who is currently his roommate were in a disorder. Both advised that they would use a firearm in self-defense against the other if they needed to. The ex-wife/roommate left for work, and the man returned inside to collect some belongings and leave for a few days.
601 Walnut Street:
Heather Michelle Allen was served with an East Ridge alias capias for driving on suspended while in custody at the Hamilton County Jail.
Ringgold Road/Keeble Street:
Police were dispatched to the area regarding a robbery from person, but upon arrival it was found to be a theft of a cell phone that occurred in Catoosa County. The reporting party returned home to file a report.
4131 Ringgold Road:
The complainant advised that she was distracted by a member of Jones Memorial Methodist Church and placed her work bag behind her vehicle on the ground. She then drove to 201 Eads Street to meet with a client and realized her bag was missing. The purple rolling backpack contained a laptop and Wi-Fi puck belonging to the City of Chattanooga. Also, inside of the bag were several applications for assistance containing personal information.
5406 Clemons Road:
A woman who is employed by a foreclosure business came to check on the house and found two people exiting as she pulled up. The house, which is unoccupied, was not damaged and nothing was missing. The two people had entered through an unlocked window.
1421 Choate Road:
The complainant reported that his wallet fell out of his pants on the parking lot of this location on 08/02/19. A short time later he realized it was missing, but he could not locate it. His Capitol One credit card has since been used for several fraudulent purchases.
1417 St. Thomas Street:
Police responded to the Motel 6 after a customer failed to leave by checkout time. Contact was made with Todd Ford in Room 137. Ford was intoxicated. A taxi was called at his request, and he was transported to the Waverly Motel.

4222 Ringgold Road:
A juvenile reported his backpack was stolen while at the Speedway. Police watched video surveillance and observed a young black male exit with the backpack. No suspect info.
1410 Mack Smith Road:
Security at the Budgetel Inn and Suites reported that a white male attempted to break into a Chrysler Sebring convertible earlier in the day. A security guard observed a tall, white male with red hair attempting to break into the vehicle and chased him away from the area. The owner of the vehicle was made aware of the situation and stated that his vinyl convertible top was damaged during the incident. No items were taken from the vehicle.

Day Shift
708 Barlow Way:
Police assisted HCSO with serving an Order of Protection on Michael Doss. Police contacted Codes Enforcement due to the condition of the home and they responded.
1208 Spring Creek Road:
An alarm was activated at this location. Police checked the residence and it was secure.
6303 Ringgold Road:
Officers responded to a disorder. Upon arrival officers spoke to all parties involved. They decided to go their separate ways.
4909 Court Drive:
Officers responded to a burglary in progress call. Upon arrival police checked the residence and located nothing out of the ordinary. The occupants refused to answer the door. It was found the anonymous caller was not on scene.
5327 Matthews Drive:
An alarm was activated at this location. Police checked the residence and it was secure.
601 Walnut Street:
Samantha Blackwell was served an East Ridge warrant at 601.
4320 Bennett Road:
Upon arrival police spoke to the complainant. He advised after getting off work this morning he was informed by his significant other, that his daughter never came home from school yesterday. The complainant then went to East Ridge High School and found his daughter to not be present. School faculty advised the juvenile was last seen on 8/8/19 at 1415 hours. She is approximately 5’05”, and roughly 140 lbs. with brown hair and brown eyes. The juvenile was last seen wearing a blue polo, khaki pants, and a white jacket. The juvenile was entered NCIC as missing and assigned NIC#M865273195. The missing juvenile is known to hang with another juvenile who was also not at school today either.
601 Walnut Street:
Yolandria Porter was served with an East Ridge warrant at 601.
3980 Ringgold Road:
Upon arrival police spoke with the victim. She advised she accidentally dropped her wallet in the store but didn’t realize it was missing until later. Police met with the on-duty employee and reviewed the video. Officers observed a white female wearing a red shirt with long black hair pick up the wallet and exit the store. CVS will make a copy of the video for police.
Exit 1B I-75 NB @ Ringgold Road:
A white Chevy van that has been parked on the entrance ramp to I-75 NB was tagged with a parking violation sticker. It appears that T-Dot had also tagged the vehicle four days earlier.
900 Altamaha Street:
Caller reported two white males in an area with a no trespassing sign near the area of Altamaha Street and Anderson Avenue. The parties were possibly in a black Honda or BMW. Parties were GOA on police arrival.

6114 Welworth Avenue:
Police responded to this address regarding an assault. The female victim advised that her ex-boyfriend, Quinterious Allen, had forced entry into the home and beat her up. Powell stated that Allen kicked open the side door and then hit her several times while inside the home. Allen left the scene in a champagne colored Chevrolet Malibu. Warrants are being sought.
4214 Ringgold Road:
An East Ridge warrant was served on Ashley Baker at the Hamilton County Jail.
6200 Ringgold Road:
Police responded to the Taco Bell after employees called in reference to a fight on the property. Upon arrival it was discovered no one had witnessed a fight it was simply a verbal disorder and the parties involved were gone prior to police arrival.
1613 South Smith Street:
Joe Abrams was taken into custody for theft of property after a witness observed him take a bike from this location. The witness followed Mr. Abrams all the way to 5700 Roper Street which is where police contacted him. The bike was recovered and returned to the rightful owner. While in transit after being taken into custody Abrams advised police he would make sure someone shot the officer’s wife and child in the face. Abrams further went on to state every time he sees police he is going to “take care of them” Abrams was additionally charged with retaliation for past actions.

Day Shift
1303 Laredo Avenue:
The caller advised sometime during the night his vehicles were entered and a handgun (Glock 17 SN-BFLA499) was stolen. There are no suspects. The gun was entered in NCIC. NIC #G874785022.
1318 Laredo Avenue:
Upon arrival police contacted the victim. She advised sometime during the night an unknown suspect entered her vehicle. She advised that her neighbor had a camera system, however, no activation was detected. She advised that nothing appeared to be missing.
302 Dunlap Avenue:
The caller advised sometime during the night her vehicle was entered and several items were stolen. She is missing her wallet containing her driver’s license, four SSN cards, (1 hers, 3 of her kids) and a chime card (worth $600). The victim parked her vehicle in front of the breezeway to Apartments 11-20 on the North side of the building in direct line of a security camera. The victim further stated that there was no notable damage to her car, and she forgot to lock the doors to her car before going inside her apartment. There are no suspects.
1023 South Seminole Drive:
Officers responded to a call of an unconscious person. Upon arrival officers encountered the victim sitting in the driver seat of her car parked in the front yard of the residence. The victim when questioned, displayed slurred speech and was unable to open her eyes. She was in and out of consciousness and unable to answer questions from police and EMS. The victim stated due to mounting family issues, she took five doses of 10 mg each Lisinopril at approximately 0950 hours. She further stated that she did not want to deal with the family issues anymore. EMS transported the victim to Parkridge East Hospital. An overdose report was submitted in the Criminal Justice Portal.
730 Germantown Circle:
Upon arrival police spoke to the complainant. He advised sometime between 8-7-19 and 8-10-19 someone keyed his vehicle, carving a swastika in the passenger side door. There are currently no suspects and no video surveillance of the parking lot.
951 McBrien Road:
CPD was out with a male party who appeared to be unconscious. CPD advised the party was only sleeping but did want East Ridge Police to respond. Upon arrival contact was made with the man who appeared to be nervous. East Ridge Fire were already on scene and had requested an ambulance be in route. Police ask the man if he had any weapons on his person or if he had anything on his person that could stick or cut the ambulance personnel. He advised that he did not but while he was emptying his pockets police observed two syringes in his pocket. EMS disposed of the two syringes in their sharps container. Police entered the man’s information through dispatch to check for warrants and were advised there were none. He was transported by EMS to Park Ridge East Hospital.
941 Spring Creek Road:
Police responded regarding a female patient who had left the hospital before being released by a doctor. Upon police arrival, the Registered Nurse did advise that she did not take the IV port out of the patient’s arm and wasn’t sure if the patient still had the port in her arm. Police searched the area and were unable to locate the female.
4320 Bennett Road:
Police responded to a call of a pedestrian struck at the East Ridge High School. Upon arrival police spoke with the caller/ missing juvenile. It was found that she had been reported missing and she was transported to T.C. Thompson Children’s Hospital. Police contacted the stepmother while at the hospital and let her know the juvenile had been found. The juvenile was removed from NCIC NIC#M865273195. The traffic incident is still under investigation.
1410 North Mack Smith Road:
Police responded to the Budgetel regarding a possible burglary in progress in room 2126. Officers contacted the resident of the room. However, when police made initial contact, a second subject identified as Miguel Cuevas, attempted to flee out the back door. Cuevas was detained and had been previously detained about two weeks prior in another suspected break in at the complex. Officers checked with the hotel staff but were unable to locate documentation of an earlier trespass warning which they believed had been enacted. Due to lack of documentation of that incident, Cuevas was released. According to the resident, Cuevas is a friend of his and he had come by to gather some belongings. Cuevas was advised that after gathering his stuff he was no longer allowed on property and given a trespass warning by Security Supervisor Matthew Overby who said he would place this incident in their logs. Dispatch was also advised that Cuevas was given a trespass warning so that it could be documented. A check for warrants was conducted and all parties were cleared.

6708 Ringgold Road:
Police responded after receiving a call from the store clerk who stated there was a shirtless male party relentlessly bothering his customers. Police made contact with the male party who agreed to leave the area for the evening.
6708 Ringgold Road:
Police made consensual contact with Austin Hardin. After receiving permission from Hardin police located an uncapped syringe in his pocket as well as 3 grams of methamphetamine. Hardin was also found to have felony warrants from the State of Georgia. After a brief struggle, Hardin was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
700 Summit Avenue:
An unknown person called about a vehicle parked in a blind curve. Three cars were found parked at said location. Warning Citations were issued to vehicle owners.

August 11, 2019
Day Shift
1400 blk of Sewanee Drive:
The caller advised of several dogs running loose and barking. Upon arrival the dogs were observed in the roadway. Animal control was notified.
728 Frawley Road:
The caller advised they could see smoke coming from behind a building on the property. Upon arrival it was found the smoke was coming from a smoker in the neighborhood behind the complex.
550 Wando Drive:
The caller advised their neighbors had been arguing all day. Upon arrival they were advised to quiet down.
4222 Ringgold Road:
Upon arrival officers spoke with the victim. He stated between the hours of 01:35 and 01:50 this morning, he purchased gas from the Speedway. He removed his wallet from his pocket to pay for the gas but forgot to put it back in his pocket. He advised once he completed the purchase, he left the store and his wallet. Upon realizing his wallet was missing he returned to the counter and found his wallet was gone. The wallet contained his driver’s license, handgun carry permit, a “Go-Cash” coin, his debit card and three pre-paid card worth $80. The victim reported the incident to store management, and they advised him to wait until the camera footage could be viewed before filing a theft report with Police. Officers reviewed the video. The suspect is a white male appearing to be in his mid-thirties, with brown colored facial hair wearing a cap. He was with a white female. Both suspects departed the scene in a late model dark sedan.
6708 Ringgold Road:
Upon police arrival contact was made with the night clerk. The clerk advised on two separate occasions a white male with dark brown hair and around 5 foot 6 inches tall, has come into the store and payed for items with counterfeit money. The clerk advised on August 6th the suspect came in and passed two counterfeit twenty dollar bills on second shift. He further advised on third shift the suspect returned and passed another counterfeit twenty-dollar bill. The clerk advised today the same suspect came into the store and attempted to pass a counterfeit five-dollar bill but was denied the purchase. The clerk advised the suspect was driving a silver/blue minivan with tag number TN 8G4-6N6. Police ran the tag through CAD and a return showed that the tag matched a Silver Toyota Sequoia, registered to a Whitney Lewis. The counterfeit cash was entered in property and evidence.
1453 North Mack Smith Road:
The caller advised he accidently left a bag behind in the parking lot. Upon his return it was gone. He spoke with management and was able to view the parking lot video. The suspect is a white male. He left the area in the direction of the Budgetel. Police also spoke to the management at Budgetel. They advised their security cameras are currently offline.

4222 Ringgold Road:
David from Speedway called stating that a suspect for a theft earlier in the day was just in the store. He stated he was able to get the tag number from the vehicle she was driving. The tag number was BYK921. Original complaint number was 19-008971
1523 Keeble Street:
Police were called to Hideaway Storage regarding a party being seen inside of the property. Police searched the area and located a male party. The male party, later identified as Dustin Everett, was taken into custody following a brief foot pursuit. Everett was charged with Criminal Trespassing and Resisting Arrest.
6500 Ringgold Road:
Monterell Neal was arrested for possession of crack cocaine and driving with an open container following a traffic stop at this location.
6514 Ringgold Road:
Police responded to this location after receiving a call from the clerk who stated an unknown white male attempted to trade her suspected acid for products in the store. The suspected party was gone prior to police arrival however police recovered the suspected narcotic and placed it into East Ridge Police property and evidence to be properly destroyed.
