July 8 Day Shift
4334 Ringgold Road:
A complainant stated that when he was exiting the bank, he noticed a large dent with red paint transfer on the driver side rear quarter panel of his 2003 tan Mercury Grand Marquis.
730 Germantown Circle:
An apartment resident parked his car in his assigned space at 10:00 am. He returned to the vehicle on Sunday at 7:00 am and discovered that his truck had been hit by an unknown vehicle. His truck sustained minor damage to the driver side rear door which showed evidence of red paint transfer.
6100 Ringgold Road:
Officers placed Anthony Mullis into custody on active East Ridge warrants.
3600 Old Ringgold Road:
The driver of a gray Hyundai was pulled over due to having no registration displayed and a broken passenger side brake light. The driver identified himself as William Harrison. He provided a date of birth but said he could not remember his social security number. He could not provide a valid driver license at the time of the stop. Officers were unable to positively identify the driver, so he was placed into custody for the traffic offenses. A short time later, the defendant admitted to officers that he lied about who he was. He said that he lied about who he was. He said that William Harrison was his brother and his real name was Michael Ray Harrison. He provided officers with his correct date of birth and information. Michael Harrison was issued traffic citations and arrested for criminal impersonation. Michael Harrison also had warrants from Hamilton County General Sessions Court. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
1714 Tombras Avenue:
Officers responded to this location regarding a person having a mental health crisis. Once on scene, a female advised that the front and rear doors were broken, and she could not answer the door. She allowed police to enter the home via the front window and they were able to remove the front door handle and gain entry to the home. Once inside, they spoke to the woman and could tell that she was having a mental health crisis. Her mental health counselor arrived on scene and provided police with a CON. The woman was transported to the hospital. East Ridge Code Enforcement responded to the scene and condemned the property due to several violations.
3715 Ringgold Road:
A customer noticed a blue van parked in the parking lot with the windows partially down. The customer advised a small dog was inside. Outside temperatures were 98 degrees and high humidity. The owner of the car was located inside Food City. East Ridge Animal Services personnel were contacted and advised of the situation. The owner advised that it was her first dog and thought that her care for the dog was adequate. Officers discussed appropriate care for dogs during hot weather with the owner. The owner of the dog was issued a citation.

Night Shift
Cedar Glen / Frawley Road:
Police responded to the area regarding an aggressive dog. Once on scene, police encountered the dog and the owner of the dog, who was in the process of returning the dog home.
6674 Ringgold Road:
The manager of the Rodeway Inn called police and advised that a man wearing blue shorts, who had previously been issued a criminal trespass warning, was on scene. The unwanted person left prior to the arrival of officers.
1400 San His Drive:
Police responded to this location on a report of stolen lawn equipment. The owner had no identifying information on the equipment to enter into NCIC but described it as a black Poulan push mower and a black Poulan weed eater.
5300 Ringgold Road:
A passerby reported a large amount of glass in the roadway. Police were unable to locate any glass in the road upon checking the reported location.
A report was received of children in the roadway riding 4-wheelers without proper safety equipment. An individual was located and admitted to riding in the roadway just to test the 4-wheeler after repairs. The subject was advised that he is not allowed to operate the 4-wheeler on public roadways.
5317 Ringgold Road:
Sean Downer was arrested on a Hamilton County warrant at this location following a suspicious person call that was received.
3100 Ringgold Road:
Denecia Gauldin was charged with drug paraphernalia after a glass meth pipe and used needles were location on her and in her purse. The discovery of the items occurred after Ms. Gauldin was placed into custody for a Rhea County warrant.
