The following information was provided by East Ridge Police Department “pass along” reports.
July 03– Day Shift
6708 Ringgold Road:
Simon Dube Jr., store manager, advised that a man dressed in female type clothing approached the counter around 7:42 am and asked the clerk for cigarettes. When the clerk turned his back on the suspect to retrieve them the suspect grabbed the two (2) cartons from the counter and left the store without paying for them. The suspect left in a silver Lexus SUV prior to police arrival. The store manager advised that the same male suspect had shoplifted from that location recently. The value of the two (2) cartons shoplifted was $116.18. Officers identified the suspect as Jamele Marquise Porch. The vehicle had been used in other various incidents, which led to the identification of Mr. Porch.
601 Walnut Street:
Brandon Quarles was served with multiple arrest warrants while in custody at the Hamilton County Jail.
5346 Ringgold Road:
The manager of the Kimberly Motel advised that they have been having issues with homeless subjects staying in apartments without permission. The apartments are being renovated and nobody should be staying in the apartments.
3918 Ringgold Road:
A man stated that his driver license was left on the store counter. He said he returned to get his license a few moments later and was told by the store clerk that she let a customer have the license to give it back to him after having left it.
6805 Martha Avenue:
A small three (3) year old child was found wandering near the intersection at Camp Jordan Road. The child had escaped from her grandfather, who had been watching her while her mother was at work. This was the 2nd time the child has gotten out of the house in a two (2) week period.
5716 Ringgold Road:
A man entered the hair salon to use their bathroom despite not being open to the public. The subject appeared to have stolen some jewelry while exiting the store. The subject was confronted by a customer who video recorded him getting into a black Chevrolet truck. Realizing he was being recorded, the man charged at the woman and made her run back into the building. The suspect then fled the area.
1502 McDonald Road:
Unknown suspects stole a catalytic converter by sawing it off a Ford 450 14 passenger bus. The theft occurred some time over the weekend.
5911 Ringgold Road:
An unknown male suspect used a fake cashier check to purchase a 2013 Infiniti G37. The check as well as the subject’s identification used were fake. The car information was entered into NCIC.

July 03 – Night Shift
4214 Ringgold Road:
Jared Broome was taken into custody by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and served with several East Ridge warrants.
3713 Ringgold Road:
An alarm was activated at the Subway. The building checked secure.
4214 Ringgold Road:
David Fricks stopped by the East Ridge Police Department to advise that he was exposed to pesticides while at the Kimberly Apartments. Mr. Fricks admitted to consuming methamphetamine two (2) days prior.
6400 Ringgold Road:
Jack Gordon Jr. was arrested for possession of cocaine, simple possession, and controlled substances.

July 04 – Night Shift
1925 Close Road:
Police responded to assist East Ridge Fire personnel on a reported residential fire. All occupants, including pets, had exited the structure prior to police arrival. East Ridge Fire Department personnel extinguished the blaze.
3613 Helen Lane:
Police were dispatched to this location regarding a fight. Jacob Scoggins assaulted a juvenile and vandalized the car the juvenile had occupied.
515 Notre Dame Avenue:
Police responded after East Ridge Fire Department personnel requested emergency back up for combative family members on a CPR in progress call. When police arrived, Michael Nentwig was observed standing in the middle of the road yelling profanities at first responders and threatening harm to them. According to East Ridge Fire Department and EMS personnel, Mr. Nentwig was interfering to a point they could not treat the patient. Mr. Nentwig was charged with public intoxication and interference with emergency calls.
6514 Ringgold Road:
Jenifer Simpson was criminally trespassed from the Mapco.

July 05 – Day Shift
1417 St. Thomas Street:
A man stated that he had met a mid-twenty-year-old female, only known to him as Mary, at the Walmart neighborhood Market last night. He said they went back to his hotel room around 9:00 pm. He said that sometime between 10:00 pm and 11:00 pm, Mary needed to use his car to go meet someone. The man said when he woke up this morning she had still not returned with his car. The vehicle is a red 2003 Buick Lesabre.
4214 Ringgold Road:
Jacob Scoggins came to the police department to turn himself in on East Ridge warrants for assault and vandalism.
4110 Belvoir Drive:
Police responded to a burglar alarm at this location. The residence appeared to be secure.
5311 Greenbriar Road:
Police received several 911 hang up calls from this location. The caller was found to be a small child playing with his parents’ phone.
864 Belvoir Crest Drive:
An alarm was activated at this residence. Everything appeared to be okay and secure.
3541 Shelby Circle:
The current tenant of this property advised that her soon to be ex-husband caused damage inside the residence when he came to pick up some things. She was advised that this was a civil matter and to speak with a lawyer.

July 05 – Night Shift
3541 Shelby Circle:
Dustin Long was arrested for theft over $1,000 after he came onto the property and stole an air compressor, window a/c unit, customized radio flyer wagon and custom blankets.
5346 Ringgold Road:
A man advised he took two (2) or three (3) pills of his prescription medication when he was only supposed to take one. He was conscious and able to speak with officers but was unable to walk on his own. He was transported to the hospital via EMS.
I-75 NB:
Police responded to a hit and run crash on the interstate. Witnesses stated that a silver Ford Focus was driven from the scene of the crash. The silver sedan was reported to have heavy damage to the driver side front door, fender and front wheel.
6725 Ringgold Road:
Police found used syringes in the parking lot near the Wendy’s Restaurant. The syringes were placed in a SHARPS container for disposal.

July 06 – Day Shift
941 Spring Creek Road:
Police responded on a suspicious person call of a man jumping in front of cars on Spring Creek Road in front of the hospital. Police encountered a man, who is paranoid schizophrenic and having a visual hallucination. He claimed people were trying to kill him. Police transported the man to Jo Johnson Mental Health per his request. Once at Jo Johnson, the man fled from the building due to his paranoia. He was then transported to Erlanger Hospital for further mental health evaluation.
405 S. Saint Marks Avenue:
The resident reported a delayed theft of his red Toro push mower and red Homelite blower sometime between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm on July 5th.
5707 Ringgold Road:
Chris Breedlove was behind the building and was given a criminal trespass warning at the request of management.
6404 Ringgold Road:
The complainant advised that a red extended cab Chevrolet Silverado was driven into his vehicle and the driver of the truck left the scene. A photograph was taken by a good Samaritan capturing an image of the license tag on the truck.
323 Camp Jordan Parkway:
The complainant reported that he possibly lost his Bersa Thunder 9mm handgun when he arrived at the gun show this morning. The man advised that he thought he placed it in his vehicle prior to arriving at the arena, however, after being there for several hours, he discovered that it was not in his vehicle. The man stated that he was not certain if he locked the doors to his vehicle prior to entering the arena and does not remember unlocking the vehicle when he attempted to look for the item.
4145 Ringgold Road:
Police recovered a stolen 2017 white Ford Focus at this location after receiving a call of an improperly parked automobile.
3812 Altamira Drive:
A caller stated that she observed a white vehicle parked in front of the home at this location and saw a man walk down to 3814 Altamira Drive. The vehicle was no longer on scene when police arrived.
3623 Missionaire Avenue:
The resident reported damage to her vehicle overnight, possibly from someone attempting to gain entry into the car.

July 06 – Night Shift
Cherokee Drive / John Ross Road:
Jessica Frizzelle called police to report that she was being harassed over social media. She told dispatch that an unknown person messaged her over Facebook stating that she had a warrant through East Ridge. Police verified that there was an active warrant for Ms. Frizzelle. Officers located Ms. Frizzelle at Cherokee/John Ross Road and took her into custody. She was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
1408 Mana Lane:
A caller advised that a man with a ponytail appeared to be high on something and was walking around putting boxes in the hallways at the apartment complex. Police did not locate the man.
Lansdell Road / McCall Road:
A caller stated that 20 motorcycles were blocking the road and subjects were knocking on one of the doors at the duplex in the area. Police did not locate any motorcycles in the area.
122 Kingwood Drive:
Multiple calls were received concerning a male subject going door to door selling children’s books. Police encountered the man, an employee with Southwestern Advantage, who had a valid City permit for solicitation and was selling books to help pay for school.
3713 Ringgold Road:
Police received two (2) calls regarding an alarm activation at Subway. The business was found to be secure during both incidents.
323 Camp Jordan Parkway:
The complainant reported that his Springfield XDS 9mm was stolen out of his vehicle while he attended the gun show between the hours of 9:00 am and 10:30 am.
I-75 North:
Kattie Wade and Garin Gardner were arrested during a traffic stop initiated by Catoosa County. They were driving a 2002 Nissan Sentra that had been stolen from Bojangles on June 27th.

July 07 – Day Shift
1605 Prater Road:
A neighbor called in and stated that a young male subject was riding a hover board around the parking lot of United Methodist Church and checking door handles. Police located the juvenile, who advised that he was not checking doors but was just playing basketball. The juvenile was transported to his grandfather’s home nearby.
571 Wando Drive:
The complainant reported that her 2014 white Hyundai Sonata was stolen sometime after 3:00 am on this date. The complainant advised she only had two (2) keys for the car that were still in her possession. She advised she was current on her payments. The vehicle information was entered into NCIC.
5719 Ringgold Road:
An anonymous caller reported loud music that was shaking their house. They reported the music was coming from Radio City. Police were unable to hear any loud music upon arrival.
5335 Clemons Road:
A caller reported observing two (2) male subjects wearing backpacks “messing around” by the garage door to the Fellowship Baptist Church. Police checked the area but did not locate anyone.
4214 Ringgold Road:
John Gale came up to police and started demanding help. He admitted to taking drugs and smoking marijuana earlier in the day. He was arrested for public intoxication and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.

July 07 – Night Shift
941 Spring Creek Road:
Police transported one (1) female from Parkridge East Hospital to Parkridge Valley Hospital at the request of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
4150 Ringgold Road:
An unknown male in his early 20s wearing a white t-shirt, blue and white sweatpants and neon green shoes walked behind the register and stole three (3) packs of Swisher Sweets then left in an unknown make and model gray SUV.
1312 Spring Creek Road:
The resident called in stating they arrived this morning around 9:00 am and discovered the van did not work. He stated they realized it was the catalytic converter. He stated they last knew it was connected to the van last Sunday, June 30th.
5300 Ringgold Road:
Makayla Brancefield was arrested for simple possession, possession of schedule IV, and drug paraphernalia.
