ERPD Catches Woman Who Stole Car with Two Children Inside

According to our friends at NewsChannel9, Catoosa County Sheriff Gary Sisk said Melony Moore crashed a stolen car at Camp Jordon then jumped out and stole another car. The East Ridge Police Department now have her and the second car.

A car with two children inside was reported stolen from Catoosa County earlier on Wednesday. Sheriff Sisk said that a woman had arrived at her home, parked her car in the driveway and left her five-year-old and seven-year-old in the car and went inside. Sisk said someone then stole the car from the driveway.

The car was a black 2001 Ford Escort, ZX2 with skull stickers.
