This from East Ridge Fire Chief Mike Williams:
On July 1, 2019 at approximately 2:57 pm East Ridge Fire, East Ridge Police and Memorial EMS were dispatched to a reported out building on fire at 6610 Hilton Dr. Units arrived on scene reporting heavy smoke coming from the out building and the out building was attached to the residence. Crews made an interior attack, locating the fire and extinguishing. The cause of the fire is under investigation and no injuries were reported. Great job Red Shift (fire) and to all that were involved.
