The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports.
June 24 Day Shift
4100 block Crest Haven Drive:
Police responded to an overdose call. Upon arrival, officers spoke with two (2) male subject, one of which stated that he discovered his sister sitting in their uncle’s car with a hose taped between the rear passenger window and the vehicle’s exhaust pipe. He said he immediately removed the hose and checked on the victim’s status. After speaking with his sister, he discovered that she ingested a large number of Lorazepam pills. He said that the car engine was not running. EMS transported the female to the hospital for further treatment.
201 Eads Street:
Two (2) male subjects were observed on video surveillance footage checking doors of vehicles around 4:56 am. The pair entered multiple vehicles in the parking lot. After breaking into cars, they walked back up the hill toward the 400 building. Additional break-ins were reported in the 200 building parking lot also. Officers spoke with management at the apartment complex about the identification of the suspects.
1152 Chippewah Drive:
Police were dispatched to a burglary in progress. Two (2) male subjects were in the driveway of the house. The men were detained and when asked if they had anything on their person, Chad Bradley advised he had two (2) syringes on his person he used to inject methamphetamine into his arm. Officers on scene checked the tag on a vehicle belonging to Tobin Shaw and dispatch confirmed the tag was stolen. While attempting to check Mr. Bradley’s driver license, it was discovered he placed clear tape over the numbers and altered the number. Mr. Bradley was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and altering a driver license. Mr. Shaw was arrested for theft of property. Mr. Shaw was also criminally trespassed from the property at the request of the homeowner.
941 Spring Creek Road:
Officers responded to Park Ridge East hospital and met with Jaqueline Tucker, Child Protective Services, who advised that two (2) twin infants were born on May 25th and the mother of the children abandoned them at the hospital. Ms. Tucker advised that the twin infants were tested, and it was discovered that they suffered from drug addiction. Ms. Tucker stated that the twins had cocaine, methadone, and marijuana in their systems. Ms. Tucker advised that Child Protective Services deemed the condition as severe.
6514 Ringgold Road:
Officers responded to Mapco regarding a deceptive practice call. Officers spoke with Misty Crysel, who stated that she believed a customer purchased items with a counterfeit $100 bill at 6:13 am on June 23rd. Ms. Crysel turned over the suspected counterfeit bill to officers. Video surveillance footage was reviewed. The accused was accompanied by a female subject that is described as approximately 5’3” tall and around 120 lbs., with dark brown hair. The suspect left the store upon completion of the transaction. Ms. Crysel said that the male suspect frequents the Waverly Motel and possibly sleeps under the bridge just east of the store.
603 Shady Drive:
Officers responded to this address to check on a child. The complainant had seen the child on a Facebook posting and saw bruises. The caller did not know the child, but she was able to get the address information from the posting. Officers went to the address, but nobody was home.
482 McBrien Road:
Two (2) unidentified female subjects in their early 20s entered the At Home store and selected a $100 knife set and proceeded to return the item without a receipt. After successfully getting the refund the women walked out of the store. They were last seen driving toward S. Terrace in a white 4-door VW bearing a Georgia tag. The women came into the store last week and returned $300 worth of merchandise without a receipt.
Night Shift
6000 Ringgold Road:
Halle Burns of Ringgold, Georgia, was issued misdemeanor citations for unlawful drug paraphernalia and simple possession or casual exchange.
3600 block Altamira Drive:
Police responded to this location to stand by while Volunteer Crisis conducted an evaluation on a male subject. Upon completion of the evaluation, Volunteer Crisis determined the male subject to be a danger to himself and others and placed a certificate of need on him. Once the certificate of need (CON) was active, police placed the male subject into protective custody and transported him to Erlanger East Hospital.
6500 Ringgold Road:
Police attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a silver Chevrolet Impala occupied with multiple people. There was no registration displayed on the car. After police initiated emergency equipment the driver fled west on Ringgold Road driving into oncoming traffic and ran a red light to elude police. Police immediately deactivated the emergency equipment on the police unit and allowed the vehicle and the occupants to successfully flee the area.
201 Eads Street:
Lt. Lackey (HCSO) issued a criminal trespass warning to Benn Timothy and wanted police to stand by as a witness.
1547 -B Burns Avenue:
Police responded after a neighbor called in reporting a disorder at this location. Police spoke with complainant who advised a separate neighbor shot her new puppy with an air soft gun. Police attempted to contact the suspect, who is known only as Pablo, but were unable to locate him. The complainant chose not to cooperate with any type of prosecution on the unknown male suspect. Police checked the puppy for visible injuries and found none.
1600 Prigmore Road:
Police were dispatched regarding a suspicious person. The person was gone prior to the arrival of police.
6514 Ringgold Road:
Police were dispatched regarding occupants of a silver sedan that were smoking marijuana. The vehicle was gone upon arrival of police.
4140 Ringgold Road:
Police were dispatched regarding syringes found in the parking lot. Police took the syringes and placed them into an approved Sharps container.
5712 Ringgold Road:
Police were dispatched to this location on a suspicious person. Larry Moore was taken into custody on a Hamilton County warrant and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
4006 Bennett Road:
Ty Kyser was issued a misdemeanor citation in lieu of arrest for possession of drug paraphernalia. Police located aluminum foil with suspected narcotic residue in his pocket. Ty Kyser was issued a criminal trespass warning per Theresa Padilla.
1800 John Ross Road:
Tiffany Thrailkill was arrested on a Hamilton County warrant.
