The following information is from ERPD “pass along” reports.
May 20 – Night Shift
1203 John Ross Road:
Alden Profanchik, 21, of a North Carolina address, was arrested for DUI, simple possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia following a single vehicle crash involving the mailbox at this address.
5301 Ringgold Road:
A woman entered the Walgreen’s store and requested to purchase all the Newport brand cigarettes that were in stock. The store employee put the 53 packs of cigarettes in a bag on the counter. The woman took the bag and ran out of the store without paying. Video footage capturing the incident was provided to police.
831 Darryl Lane:
Dawn Swafford was taken into custody for domestic assault and was transported to the Hamilton County Jail to be booked and processed.
5317 Weaver Street:
The resident reported that his lawn mower had been stolen. The victim said that he left it near the porch of the residence while he took a break from yard work. He said he returned approximately two (2) hours later and discovered the lawnmower was missing.
4404 Vester Lane:
A caller stated that several individuals were in the street fighting. Upon arrival, police found a 17-year-old male walking down the road with a cut on his arm. After further investigation, police determined that the injury was self-inflicted and occurred while the juvenile was in a state of crisis and yelling outside his home. East Ridge Fire Department personnel and EMS responded to the scene and treated the juvenile.
Wando Drive:
Multiple unknown 911 calls were made from the Wando Drive area. Each time the caller did not speak and only background noises could be heard. Police responded to the area but did not locate the responsible person.
1521 Fruitland Drive:
Police responded to a noise complaint for the address. The homeowner agreed to move everyone inside and lower the volume.
