The following information was provided to ERNO from department “pass along” reports from Wednesday.
Camp Jordan Parkway / Bass Pro:The callers advised police that the occupants of a white four-door Ford truck were being shot at by someone driving a maroon Honda Civic. All vehicles were gone on arrival. Witnesses on scene advised the truck left the area and got onto the interstate traveling north. They advised the driver of the Honda drove into the Camp Jordan area.
1503 McDonald Road: Police responded to the Waverly Motel after receiving a call about a disorder. The caller advised that his son called him saying that someone was out to kill him. Police contacted the man’s son in the parking lot of the motel. He said he met a female online and came to East Ridge to meet up with her. The man’s son said that instead of meeting the woman, he met with two males and they took his car keys.
728 Frawley Road: Police responded to the Park Ridge Apartments to assist the East Ridge Fire Department on a CPR in progress call. A woman had fallen down the stairs at the apartment complex and was transported to the hospital for further medical care.
Bennett Road / John Ross Road:Following a traffic crash at this location, Christopher Hill was detained due to an active warrant through Hamilton County.
2001 McBrien Road:A man called police to report a possible kidnapping. The man told police he observed an unknown juvenile male force an unknown female into a light brown colored Chevrolet Astro van. The man provided police with a Georgia tag number. He said the van was being driven by another unknown male subject and he witnessed them flee the area and go into Georgia. The vehicle and parties named as involved were not located.
601 Walnut Street:Jamel Arrahman was picked up by the Chattanooga Police Department and transported to the Hamilton County Jail due to an active East Ridge warrant.
5319 Ringgold Road:A call was received to respond to the Family Dollar to check on a homeless man that was hanging out at the business. The man advised he was okay.
5306 Dupont Street:The caller advised that a male subject was at his neighbor’s home banging on the doors and appeared to be trying to gain entry into the home. The male subject was not located by police.
3992 Ringgold Road:Police responded to the Olive Branch restaurant after receiving a call from an employee who said she arrived at work around 7:30 a.m. She said around 2:00 p.m. she returned to her car and discovered that someone had gone through her center console. She said $250 cash and a Michael Korrs watch was stolen from out of her car. The car was left unlocked and video surveillance footage from a nearby business did not provide any substantive evidence to enable identification of a suspect.
April 10 – Night Shift
2525 Desales Avenue:Tammy Bramlett was arrested for an outstanding East Ridge warrant. She had been dropped off at Memorial Hospital by the Chattanooga Police Department after being involved in a DUI crash, for which she was not charged.
1706 Keeble Street:Police were dispatched regarding an alarm at this location. Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office called in the alarm. The business was checked and it appeared to be secure.
3203 Navajo Drive: A call was received regarding an unknown female subject was outside the caller’s apartment in a red SUV. She was honking the horn and knocked on the door. The female was gone upon arrival of police.
