Three people were taken to a local hospital, Sunday morning, after a multi-car accident on Ringgold Road.
According to East Ridge Fire Chief Mike Williams, the accident happened just after 9:30 a.m. in the 4300 block of Ringgold Road. Three cars were involved in the accident in which one of the occupants of a vehicle was entrapped.
Firefighters used hydraulic and electric tools to free the person trapped in the car, Chief Williams said.
Three people were taken by Pucket EMS to the hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, officials said.
