_ 3537 Claremont Ave.: Police were dispatched to the address Monday just before 11:30 p.m. in reference to an alarm. According to a police report, when officers arrived they checked the home and noticed a rear door was open. Officer’s observed signs of forced entry on the back door which included damage to the door frame. The report states that police cleared the house and noticed a TV stand in the living room with a dust outline where a television once possibly sat. The owner of the house arrived just after midnight saying that she had spent the day at her boyfriend’s house and nobody had been at the Claremont house all day long. The owner walked through the house and immediately noticed that her 55-inch Samsung TV was gone. The report states that the home had no surveillance equipment. There is no suspect information at this time.
_ 906 Sunny Dell Circle: Police were dispatched to the address on Monday concerning an open door/possible burglary. According to a police report, when officers arrived they spoke with the victim, who said she had left the house at 9 a.m. to run to the store. When she returned at 10:20 a.m. she saw the side door ajar. The report states that the victim also reported some of her property once inside the house was now located on her driveway. When police entered the house they saw a back bedroom that had been ransacked, with drawers opened and rummaged through. The report states that the victim said no property is missing. The victim was told to notify police if she discovers any of her property has been taken. No suspect information at this time.
_ 3408 Crabtree Rd.: Police were dispatched to the address Monday morning on a theft call. According to a police report, when officers arrived they spoke with a man who said that at 5 a.m. he saw two men breaking into his vehicle and stealing multiple items from inside. The man told police that items stolen included tools and martial arts equipment. The report states that the victim told police that his vehicle had been broken into three weeks ago, as well. The man installed surveillance cameras around the house, but the footage of the incident was too distorted to be of much value. The two suspects were described as white males wearing white hooded jackets and gloves.
_ 6519 Ringgold Rd.: Police were dispatched to the Super 8 Motel, Sunday, on a report of suspicious activity. According to a police report, when an officer arrived he saw a man and a woman sitting in a silver Honda Accord. The male driver said he was waiting on a friend to deliver him a credit card. The man told the officer that he had no identification and that his drivers license was revoked. The report states that the man gave the name of Drew Mallett. While police were running the tag on the vehicle, the officer noticed the driver moving around a lot inside the car. The report states that the man was asked to step outside the vehicle. The report states that the man put the car in drive and left the scene at a high rate of speed towards Ringgold Road. Police did not pursue the vehicle per East Ridge Police Department policy, the report states. Police searched the area for the Honda but were unable to locate the car.
