According to an affidavit of complaint, when officers arrived they spoke with a woman who said her mother had been assaulted and that she was at an address in the 500 block of Sharondale Lane. When police arrived at the Sharondale home, they found a woman and a man both suffering from facial lacerations and contusions on their foreheads.
The report states that both the man and the woman said they were in bed when Robert Owens entered the house and started assaulting them. The woman told police that Owens entered the house through the front door, which she said she had forgotten to lock.
The report states that officers checked the hallway of the house leading to the bedrooms and found a large amount of blood in the floor and also on the walls. Both people were taken to by ambulance to a hospital to be treated for their injuries.

On Sunday morning at about 12:30 a.m., police were called back to the victim’s address after Owens showed up. According to a separate report, police found Owens standing next to his truck. Officers spoke to the man but were unable to verify the conditions of his release normally issued with a domestic violence charge, the report states. The report states that if Owens were to return again, he would once again be arrested.
