The East Ridge Library is hosting a special guest for the holidays.
Santa Claus himself will be at the library on Saturday, Dec. 17, from 1 to 3 p.m. with a few surprises for the younger book lovers in our city.
Claus, along with his better half, Mrs. Claus, will be reading and telling stories to all the boys and girls. Sources say that Santa will not discriminate; he well read and tell stories to boys and girls both on the naughty list and the nice one.
Organizers of the event, along with the big man, suggest that parents have their camera app on their cellphones at the ready to capture that special moment when Little Johnny or Little Jane has that look of astonishment on their faces as they are entertained by Santa. Unconfirmed reports say that the Claus couple will have some candy canes along with them for the kids that like to snack on sweets while encountering Father Christmas.
So, here’s mom and dad’s opportunity to make this Christmas one that may be just a little more special; Santa, a book and mesmerizing stories at the East Ridge Library.
The library is located on the south side of City Hall on Tombras Avenue.
