Day Shift February 7
No number – 1400 BLK Mana Lane – Warrant service – Detectives and patrol served a warrant on a female at this location. Patrol transported the female to Hamilton County Jail for housing.
25-001366 – 4350 Ringgold Road – Theft – Management reported a male entered the parking lot in a Ford Expedition and stole a lawn mower. The suspect was identified and warrant for Theft of Property will be sought.
25-001370- 300 BLK Camp Jordan Rd- Domestic Assault – Police responded to this address when two brothers were engaged in a fight. Officers spoke with the father and cousin of the twin brothers and were advised the brothers were arguing over car keys. Police investigated the matter further, could not determine the primary aggressor, and deemed the encounter to be between mutual combatants.
Night Shift February 7
25-001379 – 3500 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft – Employees reported an unknown female left the store without paying for several items in her possession. The suspect stole five cans of baby formula, two bottles of rubbing alcohol, and two cans of chips. The suspect left the area in a gold sedan, heading eastbound on Ringgold Road.
25-001383 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Disorder / Arrest – An off-duty police officer, working security, observed a white Dodge Charger drive recklessly into the parking lot. The driver then initiated a disorder with a female as they got out of the vehicle. Police responded to the scene and found the driver would not follow lawful commands. He initially resisted the police but was taken into custody. He was charged with Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest.
25-001390 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder / Assist Other Agency – Police responded to a disorder between a customer and several employees. On scene, Police found the customer had an active arrest warrant through the Hamilton County Sessions Court. The original charge for the warrant was Driving Under the Influence. The individual was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without further incident.
Day Shift February 8
25-001401 – 5700 BLK Ringgold Road – Unknown Medical – Officers responded after an employee observed a woman falling asleep while shopping over the span of two hours, possibly intoxicated. On arrival, she was extremely uncooperative with the police and refused to identify herself. She denied the need for EMS and was sent on her way.
25-001042 – 5600 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person/Auto Theft – Police were informed of a suspect who had attempted to steal a vehicle. The suspect also vandalized a vehicle by breaking a key in the ignition switch. The suspect was identified as a male wearing a gray shirt, and black pants. The suspect was stopped by police and resisted when they attempted to detain him. He was positively identified from footage provided and was placed into custody. He was charged with Burglary of Auto, Attempted Auto Theft, Resisting Arrest, and Vandalism. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
Night Shift February 8
25-001419 – 5000 BLK South Terrace – Shooting – ERPD and CPD units responded to a report of Shots Fired near the theater. Behind the theater building, police located three male juveniles; two of which had gunshot wounds on their legs. Initial reports provided conflicting information for the shooting suspect. One version stated a white vehicle left the scene with the shooter. Another report stated the shooting suspect ran inside the building. Police provided aid to the victims until EMS arrived. Officers also checked the area for the potential suspect vehicle and cleared the theatre building to ensure the suspect was not inside. ERPD CID responded to the scene and the incident is pending further investigation.
25-001412 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder / Arrest – An employee reported a female customer was yelling at people inside the store. In the parking lot, police located a highly intoxicated female who was identified. Officers found that she would not comply with basic instructions and was yelling at everyone in the parking lot. The subject was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication, Disorderly Conduct, and Resisting Arrest.
25-001414 – 2000 BLK McBrien Road – Traffic Stop / Assist Other Agency – Following a traffic stop, a man was taken into custody for an arrest warrant through the Hamilton County Sessions Court. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
25-001416 – 1515 Tombras Avenue – Fight – Several juveniles engaged in a physical altercation following a basketball game at the East Ridge Recreation Center. Police spoke with several juveniles and their parents and obtained conflicting accounts of the incident. Security camera footage revealed the primary aggressor was a juvenile who left the scene prior to the arrival of police. The East Ridge Recreational Director along with the Catoosa County Recreational Director will bar the juvenile from all future sporting events. No significant injuries were reported for the incident.
25-001422 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Assault / Arrest – Police responded to an assault involving a patient and a member of the medical staff. During the investigation, the officer determined that the suspect approached a nurse and attempted to strike her before a security guard intervened. Police also found that a similar incident occurred the previous day with the same suspect. The suspect was taken into custody and charged with Simple Assault and Disorderly Conduct.
25-001425 – I-24 Eastbound – Assist Other Agency – ERPD and CPD units responded to the report of a Pedestrian Struck near the Moore Road bridge on Eastbound I-24. Police checked the area and spoke with the driver of the vehicle responsible. Police were unable to locate the bicycle, or the person struck.
25-001426 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Activity – An anonymous caller reporting seeing a missing juvenile from Dayton in East Ridge. The caller provided pictures of a group of teenagers at the restaurant and stated the female left with a male in a black mustang. Officers spoke with employees and found the group of teenagers left two hours prior to the report from the anonymous caller. Officers could not verify the missing juvenile was at the business.
25-001427 – 601 Justice Way – Warrant Service – While in custody at the Hamilton County Jail, a man was served with an Alias Capias through the City of East Ridge. The original charge for the capias warrant was Driving on a Revoked License.
Day Shift February 9
25-001430 – 1100 BLK McBrien Road – Suspicious Vehicle/Arrest – A concerned resident reported a suspicious vehicle parked in her driveway and stated a male was urinating next to the car. A probable cause search of the car found suspected drugs and drug paraphernalia. He was taken into custody, charged with Possession of Schedule II x2, Possession of Marijuana for Resale, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Public Intoxication, and transported to jail without incident.
25-001444 – 601 Justice Way – Warrant Service – A man was served with two East Ridge warrants for Possession of Methamphetamine and Tampering with Evidence while in custody at the Hamilton County Jail.
25-001435 – 700 BLK Frawley Road – Disorder – Police were informed by a security guard a male was pulling on different doors at the complex and had told him to leave the premises. Upon arrival, the suspect was noncompliant and appeared to be under the influence of an intoxicant. Officers observed a utility knife on him and told him they were going to remove it from his person. He reached for the knife, was stopped by the police, and started to resist arrest. The party was placed into custody and charged with public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest. He was transported to Hamilton County Jail without further incident.
Night Shift February 9
25-001458 – 1108 South St. Marks Avenue – Suspicious Person – Police responded to the area after the RP reported a male subject parking a limousine behind her neighbor’s address, changing clothes, putting on a white wig, and walking down the street with a backpack. Officers met with the male who had parked his sedan on the roadway and was not wearing a wig, and determined he was visiting a friend. No Police action was taken.
25-001459 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Foot Pursuit/AOA/Arrest – Police contacted a man after receiving a BOLO for him from Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office in reference to an active theft investigation. During the encounter, suspected drug paraphernalia and narcotics were located in the vehicle. During an attempt to detain the suspect he fled on foot but officers were able to take him into custody. He was transported to the Hamilton County Detention Center for several original charges as well as a hold from Catoosa County or outstanding warrants.
