Day Shift January 30: A Squad
25-001088 – 3500 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Activity/Arrest – Officers responded to this address on report of a male and female possibly participating in illegal activities due to the female’s lack of clothing. On arrival, officers contacted the two parties. The woman was found to have a warrant, and a probable cause of the vehicle found schedule VI narcotics and drug paraphernalia. The wanted woman was transported to jail, and both parties received misdemeanor citations.
25-001082-1600 BLK Mack Smith Rd- Back EMS – Police responded to this address for reports of an unconscious male. Upon arrival, police observed the party laying on the floor responsive. Officers were advised by a female in the residence that he had hit his head a few weeks prior and was suffering from head trauma. The party was transported by EMS for further evaluation.
25-001087 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Warrant Service – A woman was taken into custody for outstanding warrants and was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without further incident.
25-001091 – 4100 BLK Lazard Street – Disorder with a Weapon – Police spoke with the reporting party who stated her neighbor had a gun when he confronted them but did not threaten anyone. It appeared that the neighbor was having a mental episode. The man was taken into protective custody and was transported for further evaluation. The firearm was placed into property and evidence for safe keeping.
Night Shift January 30: C Squad
25-001027 – 1000 BLK Mission Ridge Road, Rossville, GA – Stolen Vehicle Recovery – The Walker County Sheriff’s Office recovered a 2018 black Hyundai Sonata previously stolen out of East Ridge. The vehicle was found abandoned on Mission Ridge Road in Walker County.
25-001094 – 900 BLK S. Seminole Drive– Theft of Property – The caller reported that her neighbor had stolen a package from outside her apartment door. Police spoke with the suspect who admitted to taking the package. She retrieved the package from her apartment and gave it back to the owner. The victim did not wish to pursue charges for the incident.
25-001097 – 800 BLK S Germantown Road – Intoxicated Person / Arrest – A male approached a marked police car sitting on Germantown Road. The male was exhibiting strange behavior and had a strong odor of alcoholic beverage on his person. The officer attempted to identify the male, but all efforts were unsuccessful. The male was taken into custody for public intoxication and booked as a John Doe at the Hamilton County Jail.
25-001102 – 5500 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop – Police conducted a traffic stop with a Hyundai sedan and identified the driver. While speaking with the party, police discovered her infant child was unrestrained in the front passenger seat. She was given multiple citations and a DCS referral was completed.
25-001105 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder – Police responded to a disorder at the inn and located two people arguing outside their room. Officers determined the couple had a disagreement over a civil matter involving a phone and there was no evidence of an assault. One half of the disorder agreed to leave for the evening and was provided with a courtesy ride to a local restaurant.
25-001106 – 10 BLK Woodard Circle – Assist Other Agency– Police responded with Fire and EMS personnel to a medical complaint at this address. On scene, police located a woman in the residence and determined she had an active arrest warrant through Catoosa County, GA for Driving Under the Influence (Drugs). She was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
