Day Shift January 24: Alpha Team
25-000884- 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive- Theft – Police responded on reports of a theft. Police spoke with asset protection who advised a male entered the store and stole a shotgun sling and a box of 9mm ammunition. The male was seen leaving the area in a 2019 Chevrolet Equinox with a TN tag. Warrants Pending further identification of the male.
Night Shift January 24: Charlie Team
25-000895 – 700 BLK Dunlap Avenue – Traffic Stop / Narcotics Violation / Arrest – Police initiated a traffic stop with a gray Honda Accord and the vehicle immediately attempted to evade police but wrecked at a nearby intersection. All three vehicle occupants fled on foot leaving behind suspected fentanyl, scales, baggies, and other drug paraphernalia. While searching the area, a citizen came forward and stated a male requested a ride to a home on Bennett Road. The male matched a suspect description, and focus shifted to that area. Police located the suspect, and he was identified as one of the vehicle occupants. He was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail on multiple charges. The driver of the vehicle was also identified, and warrants will be sought against him for Evading Arrest, Possession of Fentanyl for Resale, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Police are working to determine the identity of third vehicle occupant, a female last seen wearing a pink t-shirt.
25-000889 – 100 BLK Kingwood Drive – Theft – The victim reported a black electric Gira bicycle was stolen from outside his residence. The incident occurred sometime on the previous evening based on his timeline. The theft was not captured on any video surveillance systems and no suspects have been identified.
25-000903 – 4000 BLK Bennett Road – Assist Other Agency – While investigating a separate crime, police located two individuals with active warrants at this resident. A woman was found to have an extraditable arrest warrant through Catoosa County, GA. A man was found to have an arrest warrant through the Hamilton County Session Court. The individuals were both transported to Hamilton County Jail without incident.
25-000900 – 601 Justice Way – Warrant Service – While in custody at the Hamilton County Jail, a man was served with two Forfeiture Capias warrants through the City of East Ridge. The original charge for the capias was Driving on a Revoked License.
25-000911 – 3200 BLK Brainerd Road – Assist Other Agency – ERPD units responded to a CPD request for assistance on Brainerd Road after Chattanooga received a Fight Complaint with possible Shots Fired. ERPD units assisted with securing the scene until additional CPD responded to the location.
25-000902 – 5300 BLK Marion Avenue – Domestic Assault / Arrest – Police responded to an Assault in Progress and located a male and female at the residence. Police observed marks on the female victim consistent with an assault. Police also found a section of the victim’s hair had been pulled out. A man was taken into custody for Domestic Assault and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without further incident.
25-000909 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / Assist Other Agency Arrest – An ERPD unit initiated a traffic stop with a gray Ford F-150 on Ringgold Road for an improper display of registration. The vehicle refused to stop and continued traveling at normal traffic speeds eventually moving onto the I-75 Southbound on-ramp. The ERPD unit continued to follow the vehicle with lights and sirens to stop the vehicle. The suspect vehicle refused to stop, and police noted the vehicle traveled at normal traffic speeds on the interstate while using proper signals for lane changes. The extended traffic stop entered Georgia, and surrounding agencies were advised of the situation. Deputies with Catoosa County responded and attempted to stop the Ford truck; however, the driver continued traveling southbound refusing to yield to police lights and signs. An ERPD unit followed behind the Catoosa units to assist with suspect identification and probable cause for the initial stop. Near Tunnel Hill, GA, Troopers took command of the incident and performed a PIT Maneuver to stop the vehicle. The driver was then identified and arrested by GSP for several traffic charges including suspicion of DUI. East Ridge Police will seek additional warrants for Evading and Registration Violations.

25-000927 – 800 BLK Claremont Court – Theft – The caller reported his briefcase containing a Taurus G3C had been stolen from his vehicle some time earlier in the week. The gun was entered into NCIC.
Night Shift January 25: Charlie Team
25-000949 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Assist Other Agency – ERPD units responded to a Delayed Assault complaint in the Emergency Department. Police determined the 24-year-old male was assaulted at the Westbound Bar on Station Street in Chattanooga. An officer with the Chattanooga Police Department responded to the hospital and investigated the incident.
25-000953 – 6000 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / Arrest – Police observed a Chevrolet sedan speeding and failing to maintain lane on Ringgold Road. The officer initiated a traffic stop and identified the driver. Upon further investigation, police determined she was driving while intoxicated and she was arrested for DUI. The subject was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without further incident.
Day Shift January 26: Alpha Team
25-000962 – 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive – Delayed Theft/Warrant Service – A hit on the license plate reader (LPR) on Camp Jordan Parkway had given a positive hit on a vehicle. The vehicle was found in the parking lot where it had been associated with previous thefts. The subject driving the vehicle was detained. Upon searching him, police found 2 Boost 12-volt 1500 Amp jumper boxes, each priced at $149.99 totaling $327.73, concealed on his person. He was placed into custody charged with theft of property along with several warrants from previous thefts and was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without further incident.

25-000988 – 5000 BLK South Terrace – Assist Other Agency – An ERPD unit observed a sedan traveling the wrong way on South Terrace in Chattanooga. Due to public safety concerns, the ERPD unit stopped the vehicle and identified the driver. While speaking with the man, officers found several indicators that he was intoxicated. A THP unit responded to the scene and arrested him for Driving under the Influence – Narcotics.
25-000984 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Deceptive Practice- An employee reported a male entered the store and attempted to buy cigarettes with a one-hundred-dollar bill. The employee confiscated the bill, believing it to be counterfeit, and instructed the unknown male to leave the property. Patrol Officers inspected the bill and believed it to be legal US Currency. The $100 bill was placed in the ERPD Property and Evidence Room for safekeeping and further inspection. Surveillance video for the incident will be available at a later date.
Day Shift January 27: Bravo Team
25-000998- 1300 BLK Blocker Lane- MVC/ Property damage – A passerby stated they saw a van that collided with a tree at this address. When the police arrived on the scene, they found a van that had collided with a tree. The vehicle owner was the property owner of the address and stated that he did not want a report. The neighboring house fence was also damaged.
Night Shift January 27: Delta Team
25-001002 – 700 BLK Bacon Trail – Home Invasion (Unfounded) – Police responded to reports of a home invasion when a solitary resident heard a crash sounding like an intruder in her apartment. While searching the residence, officers discovered a floor mirror had fallen over in a spare room. There was no incident.
