Day Shift January 16: Alpha Squad
25-000558 – 1600 BLK Mack Smith Road – Burglary in Progress – Police responded to this address after the homeowner heard a loud bang inside the home. Officers cleared the home and did not locate any persons or any signs of a break-in.
25-000552 – 400 BLK Alice Drive – Assist EMS – Police assisted Emergency Medical Services with an unconscious party. The party was transported for further evaluation.
25-000559 – 4000 BLK Woodmont Drive – Auto Theft – Police spoke with the complainant who stated his vehicle and medication were stolen by a known suspect. He was not able to provide police with any evidence of the suspect stealing the vehicle or medication. Warrants are pending further investigation.
Night Shift January 16: Charlie Squad
25-000566 – 500 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Disorder / Arrest – Management reported an intoxicated male was showing erratic behavior in the restaurant. Police located him in the business and found he was extremely intoxicated. The party was taken into custody and charged with Public Intoxication.
25-000570 – 3500 BLK Bennett Road – Domestic Disorder – Police responded to a disorder and found a pregnant female was arguing with her adult brother at the front of the home. Officers determined the was argument started over a bowl of noodles and escalated to verbal threats from the female. The brother stated the threats were not taken seriously given the advanced stage of his sister’s pregnancy. A report is on file for the incident.
25-000580 – 1500 BLK Burns Avenue – Suspicious Person – Police observed a male walking down the road and continuously looking over his shoulder. The officer approached the male and identified him. He stated he was walking to the store, and he did not appear intoxicated. Police found he had a non-extradition warrant through Whitfield County, but nothing active in Tennessee. A field interview was completed.
25-000581 – 3500 BLK Ringgold Rd – Narcotics Violation / Arrest – Police observed a female walking down the road with a suspected stolen shopping cart. An officer approached the female, and she was identified. She admitted to recent drug use and consented to a search. A female officer discovered 2.6 grams of methamphetamine in her front left pocket. The woman was taken into custody and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine.
25-000583 – 600 BLK Bonnie Lassie Avenue – Suspicious Activity – Police observed a black Nissan SUV driving slowly through a neighborhood before parking in a residential driveway. A male then got out of the vehicle and walked to the house. A few minutes later, a resident reported an unknown male parked in his driveway and hid behind his house while police were in the area. The subject then left area in the black SUV. The homeowner provided video of the incident and police were able to locate LPR data for the vehicle. After a review of the video and LPR data, the male suspect was identified. No thefts were reported to night shift for this area and a report has been filed for the incident.
25-000586 – 6300 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Activity – The carwash management reported an increase in homeless activities between the hours of 2300 and 0400. The management stated the homeless people are moving and messing with their equipment. Extra patrols have been requested for the area.
