Day Shift January 7: Alpha Squad
25-000242 – 5000 BLK S TERRACE – NARCOTICS ARREST – Police stopped a vehicle for window tint. The passenger was found in possession of 35 grams of Methamphetamine and 3 grams of Fentanyl.
25-000250-1500 BLK McBrien Rd- Harassment – Police called a party regarding a harassment that took place at this address. He advised officers that an unknown male wearing a high visibility Hamilton County work jacket stopped in the middle of the road and threatened to shoot him. He also stated the male was reacting to a car horn not originating from the caller’s vehicle. He stayed in his car and the male took off down McBrien and turned down Bennett near the high school.
24-000230 – 3900 BLK Ringgold Rd – Disorder/ Trespass – Police responded to the restaurant in reference to a man being asked to leave multiple times and not complying. Later he did the same at two additional businesses and was trespassed from all three.
25-000241 – 300 BLK Camp Jordan Road – Assault / Vandalism – Police responded on a reported assault. Police spoke with a woman who alleged her daughter hit her in the face and broke a TV after an argument with her son in law. Neither were on scene when police arrived. No obvious signs of an assault were observed, however a broken tv was viewed. The caller did not want to cooperate in prosecution but did want the son in law trespassed from the property.
25-000249 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – A woman was served two East Ridge warrants for Conspiracy to Commit Theft over $1,000 while at the Hamilton County Jail.
25-000237 – 3500 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Party – Police observed a male subject who was acting erratic, had slurred speech, and smelled like alcohol. The man, previously trespassed from three other businesses this date, was placed into custody for charges of public intoxication. He was transported to Hamilton County Jail without further incident.
25-00024 – 1300 BLK Spring Creek Road– Disorder – Officers responded to the church after staff reported multiple members of the same household were attempting to receive donations, which exceeded the program’s stipulations. Police encountered five parties who claimed they did not know they were violating the rules. The subjects were made aware of the church program’s rules and sent on their way.
Night Shift January 7: Charlie Squad
25-000266 – 6500 BLK Slater Road – Check Hazard / Ice – Police located several patches of ice on the roadway and the adjoining parking lot. The areas were marked to warn vehicles of hazardous conditions.
25-000256 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Harassment – The caller stated a known man was harassing his family by phone from an unknown location in East Ridge. According to the RP, the suspect was harassing his family because he would not financially support him. The suspect’s wife has warrants through Catoosa County, and he wanted the RP to pay her bond. The victim lives in Georgia and reported the incident to the Ringgold Police Department. East Ridge Police also determined that the suspect was involved in an assault that occurred on Frawley Road earlier in the day.
25-000262 – 5400 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / Narcotics Violation – Police conducted a traffic stop with a black sedan displaying an expired registration tag. A probable cause search of the vehicle yielded three containers with narcotics residue and a significant amount of drug paraphernalia. Arrest warrants are pending further investigation through Patrol and the Crime Suppression Unit.
25-000264 – 1200 BLK Blocker Lane – Traffic Stop / Drug Paraphernalia – Police conducted a traffic stop with a Ford Expedition after observing an improper lane change. A positive K9 alert provided for a probable cause search of the vehicle. Inside the Expedition, police found several pieces of burnt foil consistent with the fentanyl use. In addition, police found a modified soda bottle used for concealing narcotics. No illegal drugs were found, and interviews were conducted with the vehicle occupants. The drug paraphernalia was seized and designated for destruction.
25-000254 – 600 BLK Camp Jordan Drive – Suspicious Person – An anonymous caller stated a female was highly intoxicated at the restaurant and was attempting to leave in her vehicle. Police responded to the location and found she was with friends and had a sober ride home.
