Day Shift January 2: Alpha Squad
25-000061 – 1600 BLK Waterhouse Street – Disorder – Police were dispatched to this address on report of two males arguing loudly in the street, blocking traffic. One was located, checked for warrants, and sent on his way. The other half of the disorder walked away prior to police arrival.
25-000052 – 1400 BLK St. Thomas Street – Disorder – Police responded after management and a customer both called about a disagreement with the customer’s occupancy. On scene, the employee advised they had come to an agreement and the subject was put on the “Do Not Rent” list. No police action required.
25-000047 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Assault – Police responded to an assault on a medical professional by a patient’s significant other. The patient and significant other left the scene before the police arrived. The suspect was identified by medical staff but further investigation is needed to verify his identity.
Night Shift January 2: Charlie Squad
25-000075 – 500 BLK Cedar Glen Circle – Domestic Disorder / DUI / Arrest – Police responded to a domestic disorder involving a male and female in the front yard of a home. The female was also reported to have crashed a car into the garage door. Responding officers observed a vehicle fleeing the residence and conducted a traffic stop. Police then identified the driver and found that she appeared intoxicated. It was also found that she had assaulted her husband prior to leaving the residence. She was taken into custody and charged with Driving Under the Influence and Domestic Assault.
22-002941 – 601 Justice Way – Warrant Service- A man was served with five arrest warrants from East Ridge while in custody at the Hamilton County Jail. The charges on the warrants were Driving Without a License, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Open Container Law, Illegal Possession of a Firearm, and Evading Arrest.
23-013178 – 601 Justice Way – Warrant Service – A woman was served with two arrest warrants from East Ridge while in custody at the Hamilton County Jail. The charges on the warrants were Possession of Methamphetamine for Resale and Possession of Fentanyl for Resale.
24-014705 – 601 Justice Way – Warrant Service – A party was served with two arrest warrants from East Ridge while in custody at the Hamilton County Jail. The charges on the warrants were Forgery and Theft of Property.
25-000069 – Ringgold Road – Found Property – A reporting party found a black toiletry bag filled with personal items near the intersection of Ringgold Road and the I-75 On-ramp. The bag was inventoried and placed in the ERPD Property Room.
25-000076 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft / Arrest – Police observed a male running from the food market and determined a theft was in progress. A store clerk stated the suspect took an alcoholic beverage without paying for it. Police caught the suspect behind a nearby hotel and identified him. The stolen item was returned and the store manager declined prosecution; however, the suspect was found to be highly intoxicated. He was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication and Disorderly Conduct.
25-000082 – 1500 BLK Waterhouse Street – Assist Other Agency – The caller reported a juvenile assaulted her while they were traveling in her vehicle. Police determined the incident occurred two days prior in Chattanooga near Rossville Boulevard. ERPD requested a Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) officer to speak with the complainant. CPD declined to take a report unless she relocated to the original incident location.
