Day Shift December 27
24-016118 – 5300 BLK Ringgold Road– Disorder – A man was criminally trespassed from these premises after a canine he called a service animal was being disruptive, walking around the premises untethered, and eating from his plate. He left with only a minor incident and was issued a Criminal Trespass Warning.
Night Shift December 27
24-016135 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Fight / Arrest – Police responded to a fight in the Emergency Room and found that a woman struck a security guard in the face and attempted to run out of the ER. She was detained but became increasingly unruly with the Police and the Medical Staff. She then assaulted a security guard while she was being escorted out of the hospital and attempted to pull away from police multiple times during her arrest. She was charged with two counts of Simple Assault, Disorderly Conduct, and Resisting Arrest.
24-016140 – 6100 BLK Wentworth Avenue – CPR in Progress / Drug Overdose – Police responded to a CPR in progress and found a man passed out in his bathroom. CPR was performed by officers while EMS administered Narcan. The man responded to treatment, regained consciousness, and was transported by ambulance. A bluish/green powdery substance was recovered at the scene and placed into evidence for destruction.
24-016141 – 1100 BLK Spring Creek Road – Traffic Stop / Assist Other Agency – During a traffic stop, a woman was found to have an active arrest warrant through Sessions Court. She was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without issue.
24-016143 – 5600 BLK Ringgold Road – Intoxicated Person / Arrest – During a business check, police observed an intoxicated female walk from the parking lot into a nearby bar and grill. Officers determined she was dropped off at the location by a friend. She was arrested, charged with Public Intoxication, and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-016148 – 900 BLK South Seminole Drive, Apt 35 – Fire Alarm – Police and Fire Department units responded to a fire alarm at an apartment complex. On scene, Police found that a woman had pulled the alarm because she felt she was having seizures and did not have a working phone.
24-016147 – 5400 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / Arrest – An officer on patrol noticed a sedan failing to maintain its lane and driving well below the posted speed limit. A traffic stop was conducted. Following Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, the male driver was placed in custody and charged with Driving Under the Influence.
Day Shift December 28
24-016158 – 900 BLK South Seminole– Fire Alarm / Arrest – A woman was arrested for pulling the Fire Alarm pull station for the second time the same day.
Night Shift December 28
24-016165 – 5500 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / Arrest – Police conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle due to a light law violation. During the stop, a man was found to have an arrest warrant through Sumner County for a probation violation. He was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
24-016169 – 900 BLK S. Seminole Drive – Fire Alarm / Arrest – A woman returned to her apartment after she was released from the Hamilton County Jail on her own recognizance. Approximately three hours later, she activated a fire alarm pull station for a third time in a 24-hour period. She told Police she did not have her door key and needed assistance. The woman was arrested and charged with False Reporting and Disorderly Conduct.
24-016179 – 1500 BLK Prater Rd – Wires Down – A driver reported an object was in the roadway near Prater Road. Police checked the area and found that a tree limb had broken off and struck power lines near a residence. The Fire Department and EPB both responded to the location and worked to resolve the issue.
Day Shift December 29
24-0161 – 5700 BLK Roper Street – Disorder – Police responded on a reported disorder. The parties said they were in a verbal disagreement on caretaking of their 5-year-old dog. One claimed the other grabbed her arm. The other said she had struck him in the chest. No signs of injury were observed, and both parties agreed to separate for the day to let their emotions subside.
24-016183 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft – A woman reported two friends had stolen all her belongings after she stayed in their motel room. One occupant admitted to having the clothes but denied stealing them. Rather, she alleged the complainant partook in methamphetamine, left on her own accord, and accused him of stealing her belongings without returning to collect them. The man handed the clothing over to officers, which were then returned to the owner. No charges are being sought.
24-016197 – 30 BLK Frawley Road – Disorder – A woman called police after her boyfriend refused to leave the residence. Police determined both parties contributed financially to the rent and advised she would have to go through the proper eviction process. The man then voluntarily left the residence to keep the peace.
24-016195 – 6500 BLK US41– Deceptive Practice- A mid-night shift clerk stated a male attempted to purchase products with a “Motion Picture Prop Money” $100 bill. The sale was refused but fake money was kept.
Night Shift December 29
24-016216 – 5800 BLK Ringgold Road – Property Damage – Police responded to a property damage complaint at a business. The owner reported a wood column had been knocked down by a random tire. Upon further investigation, police determined a vehicle lost a wheel while traveling eastbound on Ringgold Road. The loose wheel with tire traveled across the road hitting the column. Officers located the responsible vehicle further down Ringgold Road however, police were unable to locate the vehicle owner.
24-016213 – I-75 Southbound – Traffic Stop / Narcotics Violation / Assist Other Agency – Police initiated a traffic stop with a vehicle on the I-75 Southbound On-Ramp. The vehicle came to a final stop as it crossed the Georgia state line. A Police K9 alerted the presence of narcotics and officers located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. During a roadside investigation, a woman was found to have a full extradition warrant out of Dade County, GA. Catoosa County Deputies responded to the scene and transported her to jail. Warrants are being sought for Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Day Shift December 30
24-016222 – 5300 BLK Ringgold Rd – Traffic Stop/Arrest – A party was stopped for running a red light and arrested on three active warrants out of Collegedale. She was transported to Hamilton County Jail.
24-016229 – Mckinley St & Keeble St – Narcotics – Police observed a male and a female walking down the street who appeared to be smoking a pipe. The officer observed the odor of Marijuana, and a probable cause search was conducted. Both were found in possession of multiple narcotics. Crime Suppression was called to the scene and took over the investigation.
24-016234 – 1500 BLK Cora Dr – Mentally Disturbed – Police responded to a verbal altercation involving a grandmother and her grandson, who was off his medication. No charges were filed. The grandmother will attempt to get him evaluated and call back if needed.
Night Shift December 30
24-016255 – 1600 BLK Springvale Road – Suspicious Vehicle, Field Interview – Police conducted a field interview with a woman after discovering her inside a gray Kia Soul parked at Springvale Park after sunset. During a consensual search, police located a torn baggie corner and a rolled dollar bill, but no illegal narcotics.

24-016262 6100 BLK Ringgold Rd- Arrest – Officers conducted a traffic stop on a black Honda Fit for an improperly displayed registration which was also found to be suspended. The driver was found to be operating the vehicle with a revoked driver’s license for DUI. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to Hamilton County Jail.
24-016279 – Ringgold Rd/Boyd St – Traffic Stop/Arrest – A traffic stop at this location led to a short foot chase of the passenger. He was apprehended and taken into custody with charges of resisting, evading, and drug paraphernalia. The party also had active warrants out of Soddy Daisy.
Night Shift December 31
25-000007- 7000 BLK Moreview RD -Disorder – Officers responded to the above location regarding a disorder. Officers spoke with a man and woman. Both parties were intoxicated and stated nothing physical occurred. The parties agreed to separate for the night.
25-000009 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Civil Matter – Police assisted in a civil matter at the motel regarding a dispute over an automobile. The car keys were returned to the registered owner of the vehicle without incident.
25-0000011 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Mentally Disturbed – Police responded to the hotel after a man experiencing paranoid delusions called 911 after imagining he was being robbed in his hotel room. The hotel clerk on call told police there was no disturbance at the hotel before police responded.
