Day Shift November 22
24-014779 – 3200 BLK Block Gleason Road – Property – A traffic stop for light law violation on a white Maserati yielded a seizure of 3.5 grams of suspected marijuana. The drugs were placed into property for destruction.
Night Shift November 22
24-014799 – 6100 BLK Ringgold Rd – Felony Evading/ Reckless Driving – Police witnessed a grey Nissan Rouge run the red light at Spring Creek and Ringgold Road. Police initiated a traffic stop and the vehicle turned onto the 1500 block of S Smith Street but fled. The vehicle started to drive recklessly northbound on Mack Smith and was last seen going Eastbound in the 6500 block of Ringgold Road. The registered owner has a history of narcotic and weapon violation; however, the police could not see who was driving at the time. This vehicle drives on Ringgold Road frequently and the plate has been entered into the LPR system.
Day Shift November 23
24-014836 – 100 BLK Frawley Rd-Assault – A caller reported seeing a fight in her front yard on her doorbell camera. Officers found a male covered in blood suffering from lacerations to his body and head. The male told police his wife’s family assaulted him. He was transported by EMS for treatment. The incident is still under investigation.
24-014816- 1400 BLK St. Thomas Street- Mentally Disturbed – Officers responded for a mentally disturbed person. Officers were informed that the woman was barking like a dog, yelling, throwing items and slamming doors. Upon arrival, Officers met with the subject’s mother who informed officers that her daughter had not taken her meds since 10PM the previous night and was having an episode. She agreed to go to the hospital.
Night Shift November 23
24-014829-4300 BLK Ringgold Rd-Intoxicated Party – Officers at this location noticed a grey Ford Mustang failing to drive through the green light at Ringgold Rd/ S Moore. After getting out with the party it was noted that she seemed lethargic and could not answer questions properly. A field sobriety test was attempted; however, she could not attempt the walk and turn, and one leg stand due to the risk of her falling. She was charged with DUI and reckless endangerment.
24-014832 – 1400 BLK Millbro Circle – Aggravated Assault – Police responded to the above address for reports of a domestic disorder. During the investigation, police determined there was probable cause to arrest a man and woman for aggravated assault (domestic). Conditions of release were delivered to both individuals by jail staff at the request of the on-duty magistrate. Additionally, copies were faxed to NCIC and placed in the record box.
24-014838 – 4400 BLK Bennett Road – Traffic Stop / Warrants – Police conducted a traffic stop on a white Cadillac following an LPR alert for the registered owner. The party was taken into custody for warrants in Hamilton County sessions court.
24-014840 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Rd. – Mentally Disturbed – A caller reported he was at the above address, and he believed someone was following him and wanted to cause him harm. When the police arrived, they found the caller crouched in a corner behind a washing machine. The male stated his friend had gone missing and he believed something bad had happened to him. After running the male through dispatch, it was found he had an active arrest warrant through Clarksville TN. He was transported to the Hamilton County jail without incident.
Day Shift November 24
24-014852- 600 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway- Suspicious Vehicle – Officers responded to a suspicious vehicle call. Upon arrival, officers spoke to a woman who told officers she saw a man dragging a juvenile out of an elevator and throwing her over his shoulder. The juvenile was identified as the man’s daughter. He was seen quickly leaving the hotel in a blue Buick Roadmaster hearse. CID arrived on scene with the DA and a bolo was sent out to the surrounding counties to locate the juvenile. GSP located the juvenile and her father. It was found that the event stemmed from the juvenile being unruly.
Night Shift November 24
24-014874-6500 BLK Ringgold Road-Traffic Stop/DUI Arrest – Police observed a blue Kia Optima failing to maintain its lane. Following a traffic stop, a man was arrested for driving under the influence, driving without a license, and failure to maintain lane. While at the jail, police learned that he also had active warrants for failure to appear and driving under the influence.
24-014875- 6500 BLK Ringgold Rd- Traffic Stop/ DUI – A man was arrested for driving under the influence, failure to maintain lane, and license required after he was observed crossing the center line six times from San Hsi to Mack Smith Rd.
Day Shift November 25
24-014898 – 900 BLK S. Seminole Drive– Disorder – The caller reported her neighbor had stolen her cat. On arrival, she was uncooperative with police and stated she could not open the door because she was in a “shoot-to-kill situation.” The woman eventually exited her apartment through the rear door where she was placed into protective custody and transported for a psychiatric evaluation.
24-014880 – 3800 BLK Ringgold Road – Narcotics Violation – An unknown caller reported a male in a Jeep Patriot approached her in the parking lot and asked if she wanted to buy drugs. The vehicle owner was identified and denied speaking to anyone in the parking lot or possessing any narcotics. He was accompanied by a woman who had an active Protection Order against him. The man was taken into custody for Violation of Protection Order and five outstanding Hamilton County warrants.
24-014888 – 1300 BLK St Thomas Street – Theft – Police responded to this address to investigate a reported theft. Police met a woman who told police on Friday morning, an unknown man took $1 out of her hand as she was leaving the gas station. She appeared confused regarding the details of the incident and might be a mental health consumer.
24-014890 -2100 BLK Dugan Street – Theft/Warrant Arrest – The victim stated sometime between 11/22/24 and 11/24/24, a party(s) unknown stole a newly filled bottle of Xanax (52 dosage units) and another of Adderall. It was determined he had an Active Warrant from East Ridge.
24-014891- 800 BLK S Moore Rd- Deceptive Practice – Officers responded to the PD to meet with a party who was a victim of identity theft. He was the subject of a traffic stop earlier in the day where it was discovered another man had used his identity. The suspect has Felony warrants out of Wyoming. He was advised that Wyoming would need to start the investigation due to the crime originating there. Officers advised the man that if his identity is used in East Ridge, to contact police to pursue the matter further.
Night Shift November 25
24-014913 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Burglary of a Business – Police responded to a Burglar Alarm at the market and found a damaged front door. The owner of the business responded to the location and provided access to the security cameras. Police found that four suspects pried open the front door with a crowbar and stole a safe containing cash, a cash till and 10 cartons of cigarettes. Officers checked the immediate area but did not locate the suspects.
