Day Shift November 21
24-014742 – 1510 Maxwell Road – Deceptive Practice – A citizen told police she dropped a check off at the exterior mailbox at the post office on 11/3/24. The bank’s fraud department notified her that the check was altered and cashed.
24-014745 – 1510 Maxwell Road – Deceptive Practice – A citizen told police he dropped a check off at the exterior mailbox at the post office on 10/19/24. The bank’s fraud department notified him that the check was altered and cashed.
24-014739- 3400 BLK Lisa Drive- Burglary in progress – Police responded to this address after a neighbor saw a male go in through the bottom window wearing all black. Once police met with a juvenile who was at home sick and stated no one was trying to enter the home. Police checked the residence and found another juvenile was inside who had snuck away from school. The juvenile was transported back to the high school.
24-014744- 4100 BLK Ringgold Road- Shoplifting – Police were flagged down while driving through the parking lot of an individual that had stolen from the store. Police contacted the party in the gas station parking lot. When the suspect’s name was run through dispatch it was found that he had valid warrants through Hamilton County Session Court. The man was misdemeanor cited for shoplifting and trespassed from the business.
24-014750- 4300 BLK Ringgold Road- Disorder – A man was arrested for criminal trespass and resisting arrest.
Night Shift November 21
24-014758 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft / Assist Other Agency – An employee reported that a man, driving a black Jeep, walked out with approximately $50 in merchandise. Police checked the Jeep’s registration and found it had recently been stopped by another agency. The driver was identified, and matched the description of the shoplifting suspect. ERPD requested Catoosa County’s support in locating the suspect at an address in Ringgold. Catoosa County Deputies responded to the address and located the suspect. The deputies then determined that the suspect went by an alias and he had several felony warrants out of Hamilton County, which included Attempted First-Degree Murder. The Deputies arrested the subject on additional charges and transported him to the Catoosa County Jail.
24-014765 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop/Arrest – Police observed a truck failing to maintain lane and conducted a traffic stop in the parking lot. Officers identified the driver and determined he was not intoxicated. A passenger in the vehicle provided another person’s name then attempted to run from the police. After a brief foot pursuit, the suspect was taken into custody and identified. He was found to have warrants through Hamilton County, and was also charged with Criminal Impersonation and Evading Arrest.
24-014757 – 900 BLK S Seminole Drive – Suspicious Activity – An anonymous person reported two suspicious individuals sitting in a blue SUV for an extended period. Police responded to the location and found the vehicle had left the area.
24-014766 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Road – Narcotics Violation / Arrest – ERPD K-9 and ERPD Patrol investigated suspected prostitution along with the buying / selling of narcotics at this location. Following the investigation, a man was arrested and charged with Driving Without a License, Simple Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of a Counterfeit Controlled Substance.
24-014769 – 5700 BLK Ringgold Road – Burglary Alarm – Police responded to a burglar alarm. Officers found all doors and windows to be secure with no signs of forced entry.
